Heidi’s office focuses mainly on autoimmune disorders such as Hashimoto’s, Graves, IBS, etc. However, she regularly works with HIV/​AIDs, cancer, pregnancy, post-​partum maternal care, pain management, and «last resort» cases where everything else has been tried.

She accepts insurance for any policy which covers acupuncture for out-​of-​network providers.

History

Established in 2009.

Heidi received her Master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine through a full-​time four-​year graduate program. In addition to being a licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.), she is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in Chinese Herbology and Oriental Medicine. She is a member of the Acupuncture Society of New York (ASNY), the American Acupuncture Association of Oriental Medicine (AAAOM), and the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI).

Heidi previously studied at St. Vincent’s Hospital HIV/​AIDS Center, the Manhattan VA Hospital’s Neurology/​Pain Management Unit, and St. Vincent’s Hospital Cancer Care Center.

Business Owner

Heidi Lovie is a licensed acupuncturist and board certified herbalist. She holds a faculty position at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where she teaches specialty courses in Gynecology and supervises student interns in the college clinic. She is a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor and often holds in-​office classes on mediation and yoga.
