Welcome to Grandmas Secrets, where celebrity cake artist Regina McRae, winner of Food Network’s Rewrapped challenge, makes cakes as much fun to look at as they are to eat! From simple to elegant, or even whimsical, each cake is custom made and personally tailored to your unique needs, and then hand delivered to your event.

We also offer a full range of desserts, from Finger Treats, Pies and Cobblers, Creamy Cheesecakes, Ice Cream cakes, pull apart cakes, bare cakes, and we even ship our brownies nationwide!

And for those with dietary considerations, we even offer Diabetic, Vegetarian and Gluten-​Free cakes.

All desserts are by appointment only. Metro area delivery begins at $ 10.00.

And for those desiring to learn the secrets, ask about our unique decorating classes, where you learn in your own home, and at your own pace!

History

Established in 1994.

When I was a young girl, I used to sit in my Grandma’s kitchen and listen to her hum Gospel music as she baked. As I smelled the yeast in the rising breads, and the cinnamon and butter in the pies, I would be filled with a warm feeling of peace, contentment and love.

I began baking when at the age of 8, using these same recipes, and in 1994 I began this business, New Yorks only dessert delivery company, at the urging of friends, with just $ 10 and 9 pies. I parlayed those humble beginnnings into a national and international clientele, making creations for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Heavy D, Joan Rivers, Steve Harvey, Luther VanDross, BB King, Geraldo Rivera, Mary Louise Parker, Louie Vega and Freddy Hubbard, to name a few.

I have been baking all my life, mostly for family and friends. After bringing desserts to a Christmas party, for the 1^st time, strangers got to taste my products. They begged to buy from me, and told others about me, who also begged to buy from me. That was 21 years ago, and Thank God, people are still asking to buy from me!
