Express Cleaners

This place is pretty good, a bit pricy at $ 3.00 a shirt, and I am pretty sure they use a machine press since I asked for no starch and the shirts were pretty hard.

It was my FIRST time letting this business do my laundry. I will admit, they were friendly on the phone, however, they failed to mention that in order me for get my laundry delivered, I needed to pay in advanced — which is fine.
I asked for my laundry to be delivered back to me ASAP and they said they would try their best. They didn’t at all. Not only did they NOT delivery my laundry back the same day as their «information» states, they also failed to do my laundry itself and I paid a good amount of money to get it done. It didn’t smell like it was clean and it certainly didn’t look like it was clean.
Sadly, I tried calling again and it was too late so I’m forced to write this review. I have never written a bad or not so pleasant review about any place no matter how I felt, but this laundromat was a disappointment. They just folded my clothes neatly and tried to fool me.
I’m not saying don’t use this laundromat for your laundry, I’m just saying that my first and ONLY experience has been the worst and I will never be using Express Cleaners ever again.

SO I drop off my linens March 2014. I completely forgot about them. These guys are so responsibly Awesome that they still had my clothing almost a year and a half later. I just scooped my props today July 18^th 2015. I will post the receipts for proof. It is So happily satisfying that I’m giving them 10 stars.

This is one of the best cleaner’s I’ve used in NYC. Their service is fast and staff are friendly. I’ve never had my items come back damaged, missing, or otherwise. I took in 12 shirts on a Monday morning to be laundered and pressed, and they were ready to be picked up Wednesday afternoon. No other cleaner I’ve used in NYC has provided that quick of service without tacking on an added fee. I’ve used them several times for wash and fold as well. 24-​hour turnaround. Prices are typical NYC at 95 cents/​pound.
I always take my items; have never used their pick up or delivery service. I’ve never had anything altered here, but looking at the prices ($ 9 for a pant hem) definitely up to try it out.

I have gone here several times to get my dry cleaning done, however, I never tried the laundry service with them. I just picked up my washed and folded bag of clothes which cost me $ 12. They separate your socks and 1 bag they don’t wash things that say dry clean only, those are also in a separate bag with a note on them and my clothes are folded beautifully and smell delicious. I will be using them again, absolutely. It was a 24 hour service.

I saw that this place had free pick-​up and delivery so I tried it.
They committed the cardinal sin of dry cleaning: failing to have my clothes ready on time.
They said they would drop my clothes off on Saturday night after 5pm. I waited around-​no clothing, no phone call, no nothing.
I decided to just drive over on Monday. I arrived at 9am and they gave me half my clothes and said the other items were not ready. They delivered the rest 2 hours later.
If the clothes wouldn’t be ready until Monday, they should have told me that up front. Luckily I didn’t need it for Sunday or early Monday morning.
I will not be using this place again. The free pick-​up/​drop-​off isn’t worth the risk of not knowing when you’ll get your clothes.

Affordable and convenient. They do the work in house which is great. All of the staff is friendly and they have free pick up/​drop off.
I have not tried their wash and fold service but they seem to do a lot.

I’ve found the staff courteous, professional, and fast at getting my clothes cleaned and pressed. Also, I have not seen any damage to my clothes the way I’ve seen at many other dry cleaners. Also, reasonably priced.

Fast, solid work and efficient. A solid four stars. One star off because 3 dollars per men’s button down shirt is expensive. But, I always take my shirts here as they do the work in-​house and get it done fast.

Very happy with my experience here. They cleaned my clothes better than I ever can, picked up and dropped off, all in the same day, for a reasonable price. NO complaints at all.

Had 8 pieces of clothing clean and pressed in less than two days, on time! Definitely coming back here. Friendly service too.

It’s absurd, but this dry cleaners will not accept clothing with even a single strand of pet hair. It’s a cleaners! Clean the darn clothes please. The clothes weren’t littered (no pun intended) with cat hair, just a few strands here and there. They say its because it collects on other garments in the building. Come on. There has to be a way to get around this. Keep it in a plastic bag till its time to be cleaned. That’s like saying «we will not accept dirty clothes because it will contaminate the clean clothes.» I agree with the other reviewer: poor customer service.
To their credit, the clothes I brought without strands of cat hair (or of a color they could not differentiate the cat hair from the sweater) were cleaned satisfactorily and completed at the time agreed upon. My gripe is not with the cleaning but their policy. I will not return.

Excellent service — Mike was incredibly personable and flexible with delivery and my clothes were spotless and neatly folded for so cheap!
