With over 20 years of acting and entertainment experience and an MFA from the Yale School of Drama Edward O’Blenis is now coaching children, teens and adults in the craft of acting. Whether you are a complete beginner or fairly accomplished I can help you grow your talents and direct your career. Besides preparing actors for television, film and theater careers I have helped students with creative writing, overcoming shyness, poor self esteem, preparing for college, middle school, high school entrance auditions and speech impediments.

History

Established in 2005.

I was born in New York City but moved to the Northwest at the age of seven. While I was in Junior High School I discovered breakdancing. I loved the energy that came with creating, practicing and performing art. The craving for this energy stayed through the years and finally hurtled me into an acting career. I’ll never forgot how important that young age was for discovering my self and my passions. It’s one of the biggest reasons I have for making the arts a priority in middle and high schools.

After garnering an Master of Fine Arts from the Yale School of Drama, I decided to split my acting career with acting instruction. It was the best decision that I ever made! The gratification I get from seeing young talent unfold is worth any night on stage.
