History

Established in 2005.

When I decided to expand the company to Nantucket, I felt that it was important to have a presence on the island. As DMH Events unfolded within the community, I had hoped that the message be as clear as it is on the mainland — DMH Events will provide the best opportunities for your special day and ensure that our clients receive the optimum service for the event. Interestingly, it was the unique, community presence which found me and I am fortunate to add The Grey Lady as another home site for DMH Events.

The newest office of David M. Handy Events can found at the historic Nantucket Hotel located at 77 Easton Street on Nantucket Island. I am dedicated in making sure that our brand is at the forefront of the event planning and design industry, thus ensuring that every client has a wonderful and unique experience.

David M. Handy is a dynamic and trendsetting event designer. For over a decade, he has cultivated a unique style that consistently surpasses his clients’ expectations. His spectrum of design concepts and techniques allow him to serve his varied clientele. David has established relationships with the top event vendors, (caterers, photographers, florists) and those contacts benefit his clients throughout the planning process.

David is not only an event designer, but also an educator at the renowned Flower School New York. His event design courses attract students from around the world educating them in client consultations, concept development and event execution.

David’s designs have been featured in top industry publications, such as Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, Southern New England Weddings, Simply Elegant Platinum Wedding New England and Bliss Celebrations.
