40 days to receive my glasses after having to send them back twice for the same repair. Poor communications all along the way and offered a whopping $ 15 off my $ 305 purchase for the trouble. Stay away, far, far away from these guys. Just bad all the way around on all fronts.

Very bad experience. Could not place an order of the phone because the «supervisor» was never available to review the pricing of an item with the application of vision insurance.

do not buy from this company… if you need prescription eyesglass in a hurry unless you can wait for 4 weeks or more to get it. Their customer services are horrible and rude. No information about process time on their website to warm customer how long it take to process your order.

I was super tentitave to order thanks to some of the reviews, but it was either that or fork over $ 400+ for the pink Guess frames I wanted and lenses. Glad I took my chances! It took just over two weeks for my glasses to arrive, and they are perfect, all for $ 162. I made a mistake when putting in my perscription, and when I noticed the next day and called they fixed it. Not gonna lie, I was 95% expecting to recieve glasses with the wrong perscription, but they are correct! I did have to go to the post office to pick them up as they were sent signature only. A hassle, sure, but I have no problem with a company trying to keep your expensive purchase from getting swiped off your porch.

These guys are a total sham. They have a «best price guarantee» link on their website that will match a lower competitor price. Don’t waste your time or effort, they have no intention of honoring it, its just there to make you believe you are dealing with a straight company. I sent in a price match that was exactly the same type of lens and they denied it saying it was different. Yeah right, don’t waste time with these scammers.
has the same lenses for almost $ 100 bucks less. They are a smaller company which is why I tried the price match, but ordering online is ordering online no matter which way you look at it there is a risk. Will go with the lowest cost.

Bought some glasses from my optician for nearly $ 500! I didn’t have insurance for the frames. But, I really liked the frames, and found the same ones on
for way less money. I decided to order the same frames in a different color, and the total cost was $ 142.00. I ordered them on Feb. 7^th and I received them today. I’m very happy with the lenses. The frames were $ 118 and the lenses were $ 24.00 for the CoolFrames Premium Plastic Lenses with Scratch resistance, UV and AR coatings. My Rx is –4.50 in both. I also put –0.50 for my astigmatism in my left eye. My CoolFrames lenses seem to be exactly the same as the ones I got from my optician.
Per their shipping policy, it takes 4 – 10 Business days to process Prescription Orders. In addition, they say to add 3 – 6 business days in-​transit time to the West Coast. On Business day 8 (feb 18), I got an email saying my glasses had been shipped. Today (2 days later) I received my glasses. I didn’t realize they required a signature, so I’m really lucky they came today and not Monday (the original USPS delivery date estimate)

Not a good online buying experience. I bought glasses online so that I did not have to goto the store as I work really long hours. I even paid extra for 2 day shipping. But the delivery options this business set was such that I was required to take the day off and stay at home to get the package. Eventually I had to drive 15 miles to pick up the glasses from the delivery company.
When I contacted them and expressed disappointment the response was not very nice. Wont buy from here ever again.

First, I couldn’t add my prescription on their site due to their site limitations. I’ve been able to do this on several other sites successfully. So I sent it in after calling and being told my prescription was «weird» (professional). I placed the order and then my frames were suddenly out of stock. Ok, picked some other with a discount. Asked for the receipt reflecting the discount. Was told it would be sent when they shipped. It wasn’t. I had to ask. I get my glasses and the prescription is wrong. Since I needed them ASAP — I had to go local to fix them. Local eye doctor said they did a minus instead of a plus. Cost me $ 95 to fix. I emailed them and was told the prescription was put in incorrectly by one customer service rep (Mia) — to which I refreshed her memory by forwarding the email chain. The next rep (Eli) was trying to be helpful but said he could only refund the $ 19 lenses. I asked for an alternative. Got Mia again who continued with the «customer is not always right» tone. I told her to consult with Eli. So these nice frames that were discounted ended up costing me more than where they were regular price due to this who disaster of an ordering process. Never again.

This was the worst experience I have ever had online EVER. I have never written a bad review and have never thought I would have to.
I was SO EXCITED to buy these frames. They took an extremely long to time receive and once I got them, the frames themselves were marked up, with adhered finger prints and smudges they claimed were removable with rubbing alcohol.
Needless to say the fingerprints did not come off I returned the frames and was told the issue would be taken care of. After two months and about 30 emails I was told that the frames had passed inspection. The frames came in today… Guess what… The have the same blemishes they had before.
Needless to say I am now stuck with damaged frames. I will now try to get my insurance involved.
Completely disappointed, frustrated and angry at the business management and end product.
I would not trust this company.

A lesson on general relativity (specifically, in regard to the notion of «time») or human subjectivity comes complimentary with your frames.

You’ll order your frames, expecting your frames, especially if they’re being shipped from the Brooklyn (11 235) retail location to, say, Moriches (11 955) in a reasonable amount of time; and you’ll get your frames in a «reasonable amount of time»: i.e., 19 days.
I suppose that is «reasonable,» right?
However, in truth, I believe I could walk 66.5 miles, which is the approximate distance from CoolFrames Eyewear Boutique in Brooklyn, where the frames «technically» shipped from (once they were manufactured then shipped to the retail location over the January-​3^rd-​to-​January-​21^st window) to my house in Moriches, New York in less than 19 days.

What time and space signify are two objective realities relatively grasped or understood by two subjective signifiers: «time» and «space.» (Some readings or lessons taught might prove empirically useful, as others who are quite aware of them might use them against you.) Time and space, relatively quantified from when I ordered the frames (on January 3, 2016) to when I received them (on January 22, 2016), are not the problem.
Someone’s relative viewpoint (subjectivity) could be faulted.
I don’t mind accepting blame because I am the idiot who decided to be a «loyal customer» because of one positive experience with
, as I accounted previously, which is not a pattern. Or, I decided to use

To put it in perspective, today’s January 27, 2016, and you’re advertising that «Valentine’s Day is 18 days away. Designer eyewear makes a great gift!» (Splendid!) So, if I were to order «Kenneth Cole Reaction KC-​0738»; with standard shipping from your retail location according to «In-​Transit Time + Processing Time = Delivery Time,» given our subjective or existential locales, I «should» receive them within a 2 – 7 business day range. However, given that «[a]ctual delivery dates may vary due to product availability, delivery location and weather conditions» and my recent experience, I could receive them a day late or, I suppose, relatively «on time.»
However, I suppose, again, I should’ve calculated the business days from January 3, 2016 to January 22, 2016 and applied them to the new window…[ad infinitum].
I get it. Your point of contention is founded on relatively disclosed subjective realities and not a disclosed and transparent objective one (the object’s/company’s objective) – because does 19 days of abstractions (i.e., exceptional customer service, I guess [again, I received unfilled expectations] and apologies) exchanged for an 19-​day absence of objects (i.e., money and a product exchanged for money) sound «reasonable»?
If the answer is «yes,» then here’s a valuable abstraction: I wish you the best of luck!
If the answer is «no,» then please (1) be more transparent or precise with your use of language (if an item is not available from the retail location, be forward with that information) and (2) train customer service representatives in frankness or apathetic objectivity and not pathetic human subjectivity, relative truth, or the linguistic sign as a metaphor.
****Assessment/​Recommendation****
Because of my variations in relatively «positive» experiences («relatively ‘positive’» because I did receive my glasses on both occasions in the end), I would not recommend

Try an online marketplace, where competition will keep retailers honest and consistent (in terms of listing price, shipping estimates, etc.) or, rather, will prevent them from liberally interpreting and using language.
(Yes, euphemisms and sarcasm were used throughout, given your [Cool​frames​.com] inconspicuous use and understanding of language.)

I was skeptical because there were some bad reviews, but I found the service to be wonderful, the communication great, and the glasses perfect and FAR less than I could have gotten in a storefront (about the price of the lenses themselves here). Customer chat helped me since I knew nothing about glasses and didn’t know how to answer some of the questions. My experience was good and now that another family member needs glasses, that’s where I’m going!

Positive experience since I was afraid I’d be swindled by ordering frames through the internet. Their having an actual shop and ‘authenticity guarantee’ settled my qualms.
I bought frames (Michael Kors Sabina Blue IV) at LensCrafters for $ 170 and my buyers remorse got the best of me, prompting me price shop online. At
they sold for $ 95, so of course I returned the LensCrafters frames. The Coolframes MK frames arrived today (3 days) and they are exactly the same as the ones from LensCrafters.

This company made mistake after mistake with my glasses, charged me more, then said they didn’t charge me. Sent me back my glasses several times incorrectly and claimed ignorance on all of it. Cancelled part of payment and have started a dispute through my bank to return funds. They gave absolutely no help or offer of refund after so many mistakes. This company is rude, incompetent and does not own up to their mistakes. Glasses are a medical device and continually telling your customer to go to another facility to have their glasses checked and re checked and adjusted for FREE on another companies back is unacceptable and a terrible business practice. Patient care is important and they have no idea what they are doing. Don’t waste your money!!!

–update: the owner has apologized and offered me a partial refund. Still doubt I would order from them however he did take responsibility and tried to make it right–
. I ordered glasses for my daughter 4 weeks ago. When
10 days went by without any update to my order, I called customer service and asked if there was any way they could find out what was taking so long. The woman on the phone was extremely dismissive and told me they would ship them as soon as they got them from the distributor. Almost a week later, cool frames let us know that the color we had chosen were no longer being made, and that’s what was taking so long. Instead of rushing me off the phone, calling the distributor when I called would have saved 2 weeks of waiting for glasses that were never coming. They had told me they’d be in by the end of that week and would ship expedited. Sure enough, when I called that Saturday, they weren’t going to ship until the following week. And when they did ship, it was regular USPS. To top it off, I sent a Facebook message explaining my concerns to cool frames, and was told I would be contacted the next day. 3 days later and I’m still waiting. The lack of customer service is a joke and I’ll be sure to tell everyone I know to avoid this business. They deleted this same review off their Facebook page within an hour but still have not contacted me.

I ordered a pair of glasses that said «black on black»
I used the chat to ask and verify they were all black
The legs are actually green
I messaged them and sent them a picture of the green and they said to send them back in and they would replace them for black
So i mailed them in at my expense only to be told that all black isn’t an option. If i wanted a different pair i would have to pay a processing fee
So i agreed to keep the original green and black and asked them to mail them to a different address because i am on vacation now. I wrote the address 3 times in our email and i wrote it on a note in the box i mailed them. They assured me they would AT LEAST get that part right. Sure enough they didn’t and sent them back to the original address. All in all i bought a false advertised pair of glasses and customer service did NOTHING for me.

This place is a nightmare to deal with. I ordered glasses online and was charged only to be emailed the next day and be told that my frames weren’t in stock and that I’d have to wait a month to receive them. That was fine with me because I didn’t need them right away.
A month later I was contacted and told that even though I’d already paid for the frames they couldn’t ship them because my billing address and shipping address didn’t match. I emailed them and confirmed that they did match and they still wouldn’t send them. I had to have my credit card company call them and they still wouldn’t ship them.
So just know that you might pay ~$ 200 dollars for something be charged for it and then have to go through the whole contest payment process with your credit card company all the while 6 weeks later not having new glasses.

The mixed reviews here might give me pause. But I had an excellent experience with
, and would shop with them again. My order, for a rare-​ish pair of designer glasses, was promptly processed and shipped, with no delays, excuses, or disappointing surprises. In fact, when I made a mistake transmitting my Rx to Coolframes, its customer service rep went out of his way to intercept my order in process and make it right even though it was my fault.

I searched high and low for a pair of discontinued Michael Kors glasses. I literally was gonna die if I didn’t have them. In this price range, I don’t trust every website. In this case, I had no choice. I ordered them and got an excellent deal plus used a promo code. I saved 60% off from what I would have paid at the one local optometrist who claimed to have them .
The glasses arrived in 10 days and in perfect order. Absolutely stellar quality
I am very happy and now I can order from them in the future and feel confident.
Cool frames came through for me in a pinch !
