Cody is the best, hands down!
We treasure the photos he took of our wedding!!! He shot our engagement photos too, which we couldn’t have been happier about. He just so beautifully captures these moments. Cody is organized, professional, kind, caring, patient, reliable and incredibly talented. He is focused, he takes your time and these moments so seriously, but he also loves what he does and he has fun with it! you will too. He’ll give you direction but you won’t feel posed or stiff. He’s prompt with turnaround, his rates or so reasonable, his web galleries are well designed and his albums are gorgeous. We’re working on putting ours together now and we just can’t wait to have it in hand. Seriously, planning a wedding is so intense. Make things easy on yourself and just go with Cody. Cody was an amazing photographer to work with! From the first email correspondence Cody and I exchanged I knew he was the right photographer. He was attentive, professional, reliable, and trustworthy. Cody arrived early and didn’t leave until we got the last amazing shot. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable as we were taking pictures.
My husband and I eloped so as we have been showing our family and friends our pictures each and every one has commented on how beautiful the photographs turned out. It wasn’t a hard decision choosing Cody as our photographer for our December wedding at the Brooklyn Winery. His Portfolio of work demonstrated he was very skilled and we were impressed by the diversity of events he has shot.
Both my husband and I are graphic designers which made us a little demanding as clients. We specifically wanted completely candid and natural photographs, with no posing, and we knew this would be a real challenge. Many other photographers we had spoken to had claimed they could shoot candidly. On reviewing their work however, it was evident they didn’t really understand what it meant; either that or they weren’t capable of capturing the moment that mattered. This was not the case when looking through Cody’s books and he didn’t disappoint on our day.
Cody is very professional and extremely dedicated to his craft, we hardly noticed he was there and he had an instant rapour with us and our guests; he made everyone feel extremely comfortable.
Within one week we had received a beautiful short teaser clip of our shots, then within a very short time our website was live and our high res photos were delivered. Thanks to Cody we have stunning photos that capture the mood and tone of our wedding perfectly.
Another great benefit to Cody is he offers a completely customised service. No standard wedding packages, which are typically quite restrictive. He offers, among other things, a simple and straight forward hourly rate which was perfect for us.
I would not hesitate to recommend Cody to anyone who wants a unique, natural and dedicated photographer.

Cody is awesome. Our wedding was last May (2011) in Tribeca. Totally easy to work with, very reasonable prices, and the final product is absolutely perfect. He (and his second shooter) worked with our wedding party, traipsing around the streets of Tribeca and beyond, and got some really classic and fun shots. Seriously, every single person that has seen our photos has commented on how much they like them, how well they came out, and how sad they were that they hired someone for twice the price with pics that were only half as nice (that rhymes!). Turnaround time was very fast and just as promised. My wife and I were and still are really really very happy with everything.
Cody is a total pro and you should book him now before he becomes super famous and only shoots frowny faced models for European fashion magazine editorials.
