If you’re looking for a cozy little spot for an small group of friends or someone special, I can’t recommend Campfire enough. The rich wood textures, red drapes, and great selection of wines make this a great after work spot. And the signature fireplace is a welcome respite during the winter. The bartenders might seem little off-putting, but I think they’re just staying out of your way since they’re super friendly once you talk to them. The food is mostly of the meat/cheese-plate variety, but they have a great homemade hummus plate and the olive plate has these marinated almonds that are just retarded. The wine selection makes my head hurt, but the staff are knowledgable and can help you pick out a good one. The beer list is kind of bleh and the Friday night crowd is super douchey, but that’s the case with most wine bars.
