BuiltIN studio is a full service design firm for residential, commercial, retail and hospitality projects. Any scale project is seen as an opportunity to create something new and innovative, while at the same time create something personal and functional for each client. We provide design concepts, design documents, construction documents, design consultations, and construction administration.

History

Established in 2008.

Our partners came to New York City after graduating from Virginia Tech, both with a Bachelor of Architecture. For the next several years they have been involved with some of the biggest development projects in the city, from Silverstein Property’s Silver Towers on 42^nd street, to the renovation of The Plaza Hotel with Elad Properties. They have also managed single apartment renovations and combinations, retail fitouts, and assisted with the opening of a five-​star restaurant in Mid-​Town.

In 2008, they decided it was time to take these experiences and start their own office. Since that time they have taken on an assortment of projects including design and fabrication of display pedestals commissioned by RISD, design of kitchen and bath renovations, design and project management for retail showrooms in the New York City area, and have recently begun work on converting a hotel in Mid-​Town to luxury 4-​star hotel.
