History

Established in 1976.

The Better Book Getter, was founded in 1976 by Richard Chalfin. A fourth generation bookseller, the business began as a Book Search Service, which it still is, locating hard to find books for hundreds of customers.. With the joining of Albert Lucientes book collector and technical whiz, in 1996, the business has accumulated over 10,000 rare and collectible books.
