Just had a wonderful experience shopping for the first time at BebeNoir yesterday. I went looking desperately for some «professional» looking work clothes that didn’t make me feel totally frumpy. Nema was really sweet and helpful and took my mission on, suggesting a variety of pieces for me. She was involved just the right amount – not too pushy, as some salespeople can be, but also making sure to share some good finds and matching tips with me. It was a pleasure to shop there and I have already gotten a number of compliments at work on the new blouse I’m wearing today! I will definitely return and have already told a few people about how good my experience was.

Stopped in last Thursday while having brunch down the street. The cute purse in the window display intrigued me. The purse way way overpriced, plus when I tried to open it there was some difficulty and the ball/​clasp actually came off. I liked the shop, it was cute. Many of the Clothes I checked out were also cute and trendy. They don’t seem to cater to over size 8 or so. I decided to look for some accessories that stood out and really caught my eye. I found a pair of sunglasses that I thought were unique and kind of dope. I purchased them. I thought most things in the store were over priced. Even the sunglasses. I like to support black owned businesses so I made the purchase anyway. Overall I would go back when in the area.

First time in the store while spending time in Harlem. I was attracted by the sidewalk sales rack. Then entered the store and found very good pieces. The style and quality was very pleasing. Plus the sale deals made me but more. Good customer service. I’ll be back when I come to town

Love this South Harlem boutique! I always find great little dresses and accessories. Not the best quality but fun designs and affordable prices! The sales staff is super nice and they hold sales events very often.

I adore this place. I am not cool enough for a lot of the clothes, but I still go in and check stuff out. The staff is super nice-​just friendly and wants to help and doesn’t look down on my less than chic attire :)
Beautiful fun jewelry, scarves, hats, clothes-​fantastic curated selection.
I have bought a scarf and a bag there and get TONS of compliments on both-​definintely worth dropping in or checking out their website to see about sales!

I LOVE this boutique! Friendly folks, one of a kind items, and an overall fun shopping experience. I wish they had more items for curvier girls like myself, but then again, after I finish training for my upcoming 10k, maybe my curves will be less of an issue! (Shouts out the treadmills at NYSC!)
I really love the fact that Bebenoir really caters to the customers. They are ON their social media game, and the cocktail parties are nice. Love them!

Great boutique. They have a great jewelry selection and also they can design and make anything you want. The staff are great and very professional. You can find great earrings for 20 bucks. Every couple of months they have a new designer that comes in and showcases their talents. They also have fab parties with djs, food and great people. I love catching their sales.

I love this place! The ladies who work here are sweet and very attentive. They always pull the cutest garments for me, if only they were my size. This is the type of place you want to go into every week to check on what they have, because they carry afrocentric styles that you can mix and match with your own wardrobe. They throw cute parties for their customers, are very social network savvy, and even have giveaways every now and then. MAJOR PLUS. The only detractor is their policy on exchanges– which is store credit only, argh! So if you are like me and you hate trying things on, DO IT, because there’s no refund. I always get compliments on the few pieces I’ve gotten their, and although they are a little expensive, if you shop smart you can get a lot of mileage out of this stuff. Great for the young and sexy or getting older and still sexy! YEAH check it out.

I love this boutique. I always find great items when I am there whether it’s clothing, jewelry, etc. Prices are reasonable & they have events that give back to the community & to their loyal customers. I’ve shopped here for the 4 years they’ve been open in Harlem. I wish them many many more years in the community.

Great selection but unfortunately these items are sold at a 200 percent mark up and you can find the exact same items in Brooklyn at Coup De Cour for 25 to 35 dollars cheaper.
I love supporting local businesses but I am not a fan of being seeing how these prices for this product are cheaper elsewhere — even around the corner.
Thanks but take your time in Bebenoir to soak up ideas and make an educated consumer purchase elsewhere.

I just recently moved from Astoria to Harlem. One really positive thing that I can say about Astoria is that the local stores, restaurants, delis etc. always get to know you creating a very close knit community. It’s one of things that I figured I would lose moving back into Manhattan however I discovered Bebenoir and it has filled the void.
Bebenoir carries clothing, shoes and AMAZING jewelry for men and women. They have a real vision for the type of fashion that they present in their boutique and this obvious when you walk into the store and discuss the items with the owners and designers. My wardrobe is slowly becoming full of their items. They sell great party dresses, both fun weekend bags and great professional style bags as well as jewelry and sunglasses at very reasonable prices. They also stock some basics like undershirts and leggings making it a great stop whenever I need something right away.
How does it contribute to my acclimation to Harlem? Well, they are committed to engaging the community in a meaningful manner. They host parties for their shoppers and fundraisers for local organizations. At least once a month you can find them doing something to bring people together and they really focus on your enjoyment NOT your purchase. I’ve gotten to know their staff, the owners and other people in my area just by shopping there.
It’s a great place to check out and I highly recommend it.
