Here at Barklyn, we encourage our customers to take the initiative to prolong your dog’s life. Starting at $ 35 a week for food, treats and delivery, you can take preventative measures and cut future vet bills by simply changing your dog’s diet to one you can finally trust.

Our chef uses 100% organic fare from local farmers markets, natural oils, supplements and cancer fighters, while continuously incorporating new food concepts based on ever evolving nutritional breakthroughs in canine health. Our food is ft for a human, but balanced for your dog, so you don’t have to hold your nose when feeding your pup ever again!

HOW WE WORK:

You can order a la carte, or sign up for recurring delivery, and we will show up each week at the same time with a fresh batch of food in recyclable jars, like the milk man of days past.

With no mass production or use of preservatives, we use conscious and sustainable business practices to not only ensure the longevity of our animals, but also the future of our planet.

History

Established in 2012.

Picked up off the streets and brought to a rescue shelter, no one wanted to adopt the scrawny rat terrier mix. Her ears were cracked and fraying, her skin was red and itchy… suffering from so many health issues, the shelter decided to red list her, and left her to the side, next to be put down. When Dyana & Danielle saw the little shaking pup, their hearts melted. They decided to take her home and see if a little TLC could save her.

Being a chef, Danielle immediately wondered if there was something in Baci’s diet that could be causing her ailments. Invested in healthy cooking and armed with a degree in advanced canine nutrition (Cert.ACN), she decided to give this little dog some love in the kitchen. She found the equivalents to human ‘superfoods’ and natural cancer fighters for dogs, only feeding her ingredients that she would eat herself. By the end of the year, she was not only cured, she was a completely changed animal.

Thus began the birth of our company, Barklyn Organics.

Danielle hails from Buffalo, New York. Currently living in Brooklyn with her partner Dyana, the girls have built Barklyn Organics from the ground up. Their compnay has been featured on ABC, WPIX, as well as CBS radio, as well as The New York Daily News, The New York Post, The Washington Post, as well as GO Magazine. You can also see their dog Baci on NBC’s The Today Show alongside Hoda Kotb!
