History

Established in 2010.

It is tango’s raw honesty that first attracted Anaïs and has not let her go since. Tango runs the gamut of human emotion from poignant sadness to delirious joy, from possessive jealousy to mind-​numbing love. It encompasses everything that cannot be expressed with words. This passion for life and dance is present in Anaïs’s classes and imbues her every performance.

In her dance career, which began early on with rigorous ballet training, Anaïs became the youngest soloist to perform with the New York Ballet East Company with roles choreographed just for her in Don Quixote and Les Sylphides. After leaving NYBE, Anaïs was appointed a soloist with Metropolitan Repertory Ballet Company.

​As a dancer, Anaïs is known for her precise musicality, sensual elegance, joy, and playfulness. Currently the director of Argentine Tango program at Piel Canela Dance Company, Anaïs is in demand as a teacher and performer throughout the United States and has been featured on NBC’s LX New York and Telemundo’s El Despertar.
