Alta Physical Therapy a wellness facility established to help clients attain their individual range of movement, strength, and health utilizing state of the art procedures and treatments for orthopedic and neurological based diagnoses. The therapists, with over 40 years of combined experience, offer the most current and optimum treatment. Each of our therapists has been well trained in manual techniques for various body movement disorders. All of Alta Physical Therapy’s therapists are certified in the Schroth 3D Scoliosis treatment, a life changing functional movement treatment to help decrease the debilitating progression of scoliosis, kyphosis, and lordosis. These skills are all testaments to our dedication for providing custom personal one-​on-​one treatments tailored for each client’s specific functional goals.

Established in 1996.

For over 16 years Alta Physical Therapy has been a health and wellness provider for the Upper West Side, Manhattan public. We help our clients attain their individual range of movement, strength, and health goals by utilizing state of the art procedures and treatments for orthopedic, sport, and neurological based diagnoses.

With over 40 years of combined experience we have developed a practice focused on hands on, one-​on-​one therapy with advanced, gentle joint mobilization and scoliosis treatment.

Meet the Business Owner

Toni M.

Business Owner

Toni received a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Connecticut in 1987, and a degree in Physical Therapy from Hunter College in 1992. Prior to finishing her degrees, Toni completed two Graduate Assistantships as athletic trainer to the State University of New York at Albany and the University of Connecticut. Toni’s main focus is orthopedic and sports medicine, and she continues to explore medical advances in order to provide the most current and effective methods of healing.
