I’m a career advisor and my specialty is working with college students and recent grads on career discovery, self-​marketing and job-​seeking. Since 2006 I’ve been helping clients understand where their strengths and interests fit in the world of work. I show clients how to link what they love to do with work that will get them up in the morning. I help humanities majors translate their aptitudes and experiences into a career path. Allison C.

Business Owner

Allison Cheston is a career advisor with a 30-​year background in marketing and executive search. She helps young adults starting out, as well as established professionals, identify their unique value in the marketplace and explore alternative careers. She provides the tools they need to promote themselves more effectively with prospective employers, and then helps them find the right job.

Allison has created a program designed to equip young adults to better navigate their career path. The program provides a systematic approach to help identify natural aptitudes and interests, explore how they could fit in the world of work, and apply that learning to productive summer internships and work experiences.

She holds a BA in International Relations and Romance Languages from the University of Michigan, and an MA in International Education from NYU. She also holds a Certificate in Adult Career Planning from NYU and speaks French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
