We take great satisfaction in helping your children maintain optimal oral health. Our staff is highly experienced and devoted to comprehensive and preventative patient care. Therefore, we have a pediatric dentist available to your child so he or she gets the best care available. A pediatric dentist specializes in children only and receives additional formal training that general dentists do not. They must complete four years of dental school plus two additional years of residency training for infants, children, teens, and children with special needs. This means more knowledge and more expertise for your children. Pediatric dentists deal with children all day meaning that they know how to make sure your children are comfortable and are treated effectively. It also mean they know how to examine children without being intimidating or creating fear.

Dr Bertman wants to make each visit to Advanced Dental Arts a successful, and enjoyable experience for you or your child. His emphasis is on patient comfort as well as keeping up-​to-​date with the latest advancements in dentistry, which enable him to provide his patients with the highest level of care quality in the field. Dr. Bertman has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical treatments and root canal treatments.

Dr. Bertman graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He also completed a general practice residency in Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY where he had the opportunity to work in a fast paced emergency room setting. He is a member of ADA, the NY County Dental Association, and the NY State Dental Association.

Just got off the phone with Simone after receiving a bill in the mail that did not reflect what I’d originally been told I would be charged, a miscommunication between customer, insurance and the office. I am completely taken aback by how efficient and kind she was! Everything was sorted out in a matter of minutes and worked out better than I could have expected. Thank you very much Simone! You are a rock star :)

I just returned to ADA for a cleaning — ONCE AGAIN, struck by the efficiency friendliness and professionalism — great reminders via text and a call and then quickly seen by Tatiana who gave such a thorough but gentle cleaning I didn’t need headphones to relax. It was terrific and she was really instructive about how to keep things well.
I really like this place. Really impressed.

My wife and I had been looking for a new dentist for awhile. One day my tooth broke and Dr. Ahmed worked her schedule around to not only fix my tooth, but get us both in for cleanings. We won’t go anywhere else!

What I like best about ADA is that they don’t try to up-​sell you the minute you walk in to their office for an appointment. And, a recent misunderstanding about my dental plan coverage was resolved by their office in a timely and, satisfactory manner.
Unfortunately we live in a world where patients base their medical and dental care decisions on what is and what is not «covered» (out of pocket costs). This is further complicated by the fact that what is and is not covered is an enigma (to the benefit of the insurance provider and medical practice, typically, yet always to the detriment of the insured).
I would give ADA 5 stars if, in the future, they become more involved and informed about what their patient’s dental plan does and does not cover at the time of dental care service recommendation. This way, the patient could make an informed decision whether or not to receive the service or at the very least has received full transparency into what their out of pocket costs might be.
While I realize ADA isn’t obligated to do this, wouldn’t it set them apart if they did? … something to think about …

Everyone who works at ADA is friendly an professional from the minute you enter the office. Have never had to wait more that a few minutes to be taken in to the exam room for my appointments. Going to the dentist is never a pleasant experience even when its just for a check-​up and cleaning but Dr. Bertman and the rest of the Staff make you feel welcome and as comfortable as can be under the circumstances. You will walk out of your appointment smiling and glad that you chose ADA as your dental office knowing that you have received such excellent care.

Advanced dental arts will forever be the standard to which I hold all my medical practitioners.
The office is bright, spacious, and gorgeous. The receptionists are super helpful and the hygienists and dentists are some of the nicest people I’ve met in the city. My first cleaning I got to watch a movie while the hygienist worked and afterward they showed me what my dental problems were and how I could tackle them. By my second visit, my gums (I have a history of gingivitis) weren’t perfect, but were in healthier shape.
It’s a nutty concept to actually LOOK FORWARD to going to the dentist, but somehow they pull it off at ADA. I only wish finding doctors at their caliber was as easy.

I am not a fan of going to the dentist’s office, even for a simple cleaning, but I just visited this office and I had about as good an experience as one can have. The staff were extremely friendly, flexible, and accommodating, and the services were thorough. I hope not to need much dental work any time soon, but if I do I plan to return to this place.

I can’t explain how happy I am for finding this dental office! This place has made me feel comfortable to go see the Dentist. Their bedside manner is impeccable!!! I don’t feel scolded for not flossing as often as I should, however they do explain the cons of not doing so which makes me rethink of my bad choices. I love how they explain everything and show me what they’re doing. Everyone is so sweet and friendly! I can’t thank them enough for making me feel comfortable again and that going to the dentist isn’t a hassle.

I would highly recommend against going here. We took our son for his first dental appointment ever and although the facilities are clean and kid friendly, the dentist was anything but (authentically) friendly. She seemed to have neither the time or the patience (or disposition) to deal with little ones. Our appt was months ago and I still have flashbacks most mornings of the experience. We will never go back.

I came in to see Dr. Sinno after a bad experience with another NYC dentist. This other guy had put in three fillings (in 25 minutes) about three months ago, and one was already falling out and causing issues.
Dr. Sinno was awesome. She quickly diagnosed the problem, and was able to re-​do the filling in the same visit. She didn’t try to sell me on additional services, or work I didn’t need, which was appreciated.
Anyone who has had a bad experience at a dentist knows how relieved I was to find someone who was competent, honest, and efficient. Will definitely be referring friends to her!
(One note — this office does not do metallic fillings, so those of you with insurance that only covers those type of fillings maybe have to pay a little more out of pocket)

I have been seeing Dr Bertman for almost 10 years now and I have to say, my teeth are absolutely perfect. I could not be more satisfied. I always leave in a great mood bc of his positive attitude, (plus he’s a hottie) so it’s worth the trip even if you don’t live in the area.

The office is beautiful and clean, the staff is welcoming and accommodating, and Tatiana is the best dental hygienist around town (We legit watched Beauty & the Beast during my last cleaning. Who likes going to the dentist!!! Face it! No one does! But I have to admit that ever since I found Dr. Bertman and Advanced Dental Arts I actually look forward every time I need to go in to their office. They are without a doubt the nicest and most professional medical team I have dealt with in a very long time. From the moment you make an appointment to when you check-​in, the staff makes it as convenient and simple for you as possible. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be taken into an examination room. Their office is impeccable and the location is great.
Dr. Bertman’s professionalism and friendliness are a rare commodity you find these days. I can’t say enough how happy I am with my new crown the he put in. It is my first one and I am amazed at what a great job he did with matching the size and the color to the rest of my teeth. I would recommend Dr. Bertman to anyone in a heartbeat.
I recently got a cleaning done by Tatiana who is the Hygienist and it was great! My teeth seemed like I had gotten a whitening treatment after she was done with the cleaning. She took the time to explain how I should be flossing and brushing. Just like everyone else on the team she was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
Don’t hesitate to contact Dr. Bertman’s office to make an appointment if you need to see a Dentist. Once you try Advanced Dental Arts you won’t go back to any other dentist!

Due to multiple cross-​country moves in a short period of time, it had been about five years since I’d been to the dentist. I’m not afraid of them, but I was dreading a lecture so I kept putting it off. Finally, I decided to get it over with and found Advanced Dental Arts on ZocDoc. I am so glad they’re the ones I found!
First of all, the front desk staff isn’t just friendly; they have a sense of humor and actually joke and interact with you. Tatyana did my cleaning and took AMAZING care of me. Not a single lecture, and she was hyper-​aware of how sensitive my teeth are. The second I even twitched a finger, she stopped what she was doing and found a different way to clean them. And the rest of the staff is equally as skilled and kind.
I’ve already recommended these guys to anyone scared of dentists or just looking for less of a hassle when they go in for a checkup.

I hadn’t visited the dentist in way longer than I’m willing to admit due to insurance issues and… fear.
Since my first visit to Advanced Dental Arts 2 months ago, I have returned twice more, because not only is it not that scary, it’s kind of awesome. The staff are all extremely friendly and professional and put you at ease. They explain everything that is going on so you feel like you know about your teeth, which you’ve neglected for years, and now want to take so much better care of. The environment is super clean and comfortable and easy to get to, and I never waited more than a few minutes before being seen.
I am super relieved that I found them and am now excited about maintaining my oral hygiene. Truth. If you’re searching for a dentist, I’m highly recommending them.

The office gives off a great first impression, we were greeted by friendly receptionists and an inviting waiting area. The kids’ waiting/​play room is on another level of cuteness… my 4 year old daughter did not want to leave. She begged to stay after her cleaning with Dr. Lori Paires. Dr. Lori was patient, informative and very sweet as she made my daughter feel very comfortable. All in all we were very pleased with the service, cleanliness and modern equipments. I have already recommended Advanced Dental Arts to my friends. If you are looking for a family dental office, this is the place to go! We are counting the months till our next visit.
