I’m shocked this man is still in business. I went to see John Warren at A-​List after I graduated looking for my first job in the workforce. During the interview he kept mentioning I should be an actress & he said he had connections that could get me a job. I was not looking to become an actress but looking to start a career. He then suggested I should masturbate in front of him if he was to take me serious. I left his rental office on Park ave feeling violated & shocked. I ended up suing & winning. It’s a shame a predator like this exists as he preys on young women. Wish Unilocal was around years ago. Who knows how many other women he tried this tactic with.

First I’d like to say that John Warren from A-​List Associates did not find me a job. With that being said, the dedication and care that he showed by far surpassed all the other agencies I went to. He is extremely personable and we sat and talked for over an hour. He sent me on an interview for a position which I did not get but that had mostly to do with my lack of experience rather than me failing the interview. He explained to me why I wasn’t hired. Most of the other places I went to did nothing but give me empty promises. They made me feel like I had a chance at an interview but when it came time to actually back up their promises they were nowhere to be found. But John actually helped. He actually did something and though it wasn’t successful, the way in which he did it showed his professionalism and care and perhaps if you have more experience in the field in which you are looking (since I was actually changing careers) then maybe he can help you land a job. But either way, he was very kind throughout the whole process.

Single man operation in «rent an office» space. John is desperate to make a commission — at any cost. Does not represent candidates well to companies, instead of providing an inquiry answer– he simply suggests other candidates to the company. HR person goes back to him w/​simple inquiry — «do you know where this candidate went to school?» or «is candidate X working right now?» His solution «Let me recommend Sarah or Jane or Rebecca». Utilizes the «frantic squirrel placement method». Does not keep good records of where he has previously sent you. Often does not get feedback — simply «oh — that position was filled». Finally — misrepresents job salary. During final placement process — «oh salary is really $ 55k not $ 60k. Avoid.
