History

Established in 2015.

Washed Ashore Adornments was created in 2015 in sunny Los Angeles. Lara Lamsam, founder and designer, developed her passion for the ocean during her childhood. As a little girl, Lara spent all of her time by the water, exploring and collecting treasures that she found on the beach. One day while walking along the beach, an oyster shell with the pearl still attached to it, washed ashore to her. That is the moment that Lara fell in love with pearls and named them «mermaid’s treasure.» Washed Ashore Adornments draws inspiration from the beauty of the ocean. Nothing in life is perfect and we strive to highlight the beauty of imperfection. Washed Ashore Adornments brings together people from all ages and gender with one thing in common; the love for the ocean.
