We had been with Dr. Liu for almost 10 years when she«dismissed» us, the term she used. My 8 year old daughter is deathly scared of needles and basically anything even slightly invasive. Carmen the nurse tried to administer the flu mist vaccine to my daughter and she was not having it.(she had taken it, without incident, the prior 3 years). She was so petrified and so scared. She worked herself up so much with the anticipation of it hurting. She was crying and screaming and then got angry and screamed at Carmen not to touch her when she came towards her with the mist. Carmen was not happy and scolded my daughter saying, «you can not talk to me like that!» She seemed very frustrated and it showed! At that point I put a stop to it and we left. We went in 2 months later for a yearly check up and thats when Dr. Liu told us Carmen refuses to treat my daughter and that she was going to «dismiss“us. She was very cold about it. I was, and still am, a little baffled. It all does not make sense to me, you dismiss a child because they scream? I can’t believe she is the only child to cry/scream when they are scared. Beware!

We have taken our daughter to Dr. Liu since she was 2 days old. Our family loves the environment and the time Dr. Liu gives us on our visits. My daughter is 2 and loves going for her visits to play with Dr. Liu!

I feel the need to reply to Barry’s review. First, thank God your child is ok. The doctor he is referring to no longer works at the office. My wife and I now have our second son seeing Dr. Liu and her associate Dr. Davari, and we are very pleased with them.

I have been with Dr. Liu’s office for almost 6 years. I recently revived a bill for $ 85.00(reduced to 42.00) to take a piece of ear wax out of my sons ear. I thought it was a mistake but was told this is a billable«procedure». So spending 5 seconds on ear wax before checking for an ear infection in Insane! Dr. Lou send me a very cold email that it was a valid charge so I told her I was leaving after 6 years and she could have cared less. This is SO unfortunate because you are dealing with small kids and to have a pediatrician who cares so little for her patients. Stay clear or you may be charged for a tissue!

Dr. Liu and her partner are top notch doctors. They are available to their patients via phone, email and of course, in person. They don’t accept credit cards, which is a bummer, but otherwise it’s a pleasure visting their office, even with a sick kid. Their office team is also fantastic.

We’ve been extremely pleased with the practice with Dr. Liu, who has been our daughter’s doc for 1 year. She is very professional and really take time to listen all our questions and give advises during every visit. Occasionally I call the office to ask questions, she always responded at lunch break. The environment is very kid’s friendly. Each room has different wall painting and toys. My daughter loves the«fish» room. The nurses are really great too. Also they have private parking(I do care this very much) My husband did research on pediatrician. I am so happy he made the best decision.
