Out of all the employees here Mindi is always so consistent with the Ice Vanilla Lattes or any other drink here… never disappointed!

Great staff, service and decent coffee products. The atmosphere is far more welcoming and efficient than other coffee shops.

The baristas and customer service personnel are pleasant and welcoming. The Americana decaf or regular, large-​size for me, please, was recommended to me on a visit when it was going to be an 8-​minute wait for a fresh brew of decaf coffee. I took the suggestion for the Americana, and I can assure you it is a pure genius coffee beverage. Rich but not too strong. It consists of four shots of espresso and the rest of the cup is hot water. I ask for a large cup of ice and pour the cup of coffee into the cup of ice, about ¾ of the way to full. I then add my favorite sweetener and creamer. One hot beverage and one iced. The robust, rich and full-​bodied flavor of the Americana holds its own on ice or with milk, half and half, almond milk, or cream. It makes my day brighter just thinking about going in to get my morning fix.

I am a regular at this location, and have always been impressed with the staff and the coffee quality. Recently however, a new woman has been hired who is quite unfriendly and whose service is very disappointing. On one occasion, this employee, along with another, talked to another customer who already had their drink and made me wait for 10 minutes before finally asking if they could help me. I am very very disappointed in the lack of efficiency that these new employees have brought to the team. Step it up coffee bean!

Quick, clean and friendly coffee spot. I’ve always been a Coffee Bean fan (prefer their drinks to Starbucks and love that it’s a local company). Bonus points that this particular Coffee Bean is just two doors down from the best dry cleaner in the area.

Always a pleasant experience at this CBTL. Fast and friendly service and my order is always correct. Plenty of off-​street parking too.

Great service from the staff. Ask for Cori. She is the best! My girls and I go there every weekend and they look for Cori every time. I love Coffee Bean and have been to all the locations in the South Bay Area and beyond and I would have to say Cori is the sweetest and most friendly person hands down!

Having been a barista in the past myself, I understand the basic fundamentals of running a coffee shop. Keeping appropriate temperatures, brewing new batches and good customer service.
Unfortunately, after frequenting this location several times, I can’t say that the baristas at this location are familiar with any of the aforementioned (or at least not the ones who work in the afternoon).
Over all, every time I have gone in the afternoon, the baristas working look miserable. Maybe all but one greet me with an actual smile. Strike one.
On one of my first occasions at this location I ordered a plain bagel toasted with cream cheese. Basic enough. However, after an hour after having consumed it I was head first in the toilet bowl throwing up at work due to possibly eating spoilt cream cheese. I’m assuming this was the reason for throwing up as it was the only thing I ate that morning. Strike two.
On a separate occasion I ordered a small coffee with vanilla, with extra room for half & half. Having been dissed before on another occasion when ordering it with the half & half by a barista who rudely asked «you want US to put it in for you?» Yes, that’s why I asked for it –_​_​– Anyway, I digress. In my rush to get back to work, I opened up the lid, poured the half & half in myself, and went on my way. Half way back to work I took the first sip only to realize that the coffee was BURNT. It was burnt, bitter, and no where near the normal sweet vanilla taste I was looking for. Strike three.
I’ve never been one to complain or be a customer who makes a scene, but if I had the time I would’ve gone back to do so. I was definitely jipped $ 4 over a small coffee. As I said previously, having been a barista myself, I always give the benefit of the doubt to those serving me. However, I can not say that I can muster any empathy or understanding for this place. Do yourself a favor and go to Two Guns or the Starbucks down the road.

Another well staffed and efficient CBTL.
This place is a little tougher to get to given the parking lot is tight and there’s a bunch of other businesses crammed into a small space at the corner of PCH and Artesia, but they make it work.
Lots of table space, speedy Wi-​Fi for free, and good employees. Just one bathroom that is usually in desperate need of cleaning, but I’m not gonna ding you for your potty unless it totally unsanitary… I’m so nice.

I come her for my morning coffee when I need a switch up from Starbucks. The workers here are really friendly but the line does not move as well as Starbucks.
Their caramel ice blendeds are absolutely sinful though, way better than SB. I also enjoy their blueberry wheat bagel with light cream cheese in the mornings, Yum!
Best part about this location is you can take your coffee for a nice walk on the pier on the weekends. :)
Plus they have free wifi that you no longer need a code for to do work.

My favorite coffee bean by far! Great customer service & lines are usually short. Really wish they had more locations.

Ive been coming here off and on for years. I dont really like the coffee at starbucks. For the most part the people are friendly and the service is quick. I havent eaten the food but im not a big fan of baked goods.
Its located in a strip mall so convenient if you need to do some other shopping.
It can get crowded in the afternoons when schools are let out.
Overall a nice clean spot to grab some coffee and a bite.

Good location, lots of parking, good employees. Definetly go in for their drinks n food. I like the blueberry smoothie n a small drip of coffee.

The place itself is pretty clean, but I saw a review saying the bathroom sucks and I agree. It’s not necessarily «dirty» but just has that set in stink… It definitely needs a renovation.

I wish there was more coffee beans around! Starbucks is taking over. I enjoy the chai lattes much better here. I also love the chocolate chip twists and they are reduced fat!

Coffee Bean basically can’t do me wrong. Their coffee is about 200 times better than Starbucks, along with their mixes. They may not be better than Peets, but they are more convenient because of the multiple locations.
This particular locations is easy to park and easy to order. There’s never really a huge line. It can get crowded but not 15 people in line crowded.
My favorites are the hot mocha latte and mocha ice blended. What can I say? I got a thang for mocha ;)

Normally I drive past this place to go to Barnes and Noble. But that place has no plugins for laptops and they stress you out for not eating their café items.
So onto Coffee Bean! I had a pleasant time. I came here to do homework with my son. There are ample hookups for laptops, study tables and a decent not too noisy environment. Plenty of teens were there doing homework at this afternoon time.
Free WiFi, (not too fast). I had some issues connecting it to an HP tablet, the authorization procedure kept freezing in mid process.
The frozen coffee drinks we had were delicious, my son really enjoyed them over the starbucks at B&N. Win! Service was good, Staff friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor patio. Good parking.
The place was clean, although the trash needed emptying, and a plate picked up. But overall it was not feeling dirty in appearance and surfaces.
Except for the bathroom, it should be much cleaner. It was a bit funky.
I will be back again! It’s a nice little coffee place.
