Dr. Panucci will personally check every active patient at each appointment. We choose to schedule fewer patients each day than the average orthodontist so that Dr. Panucci and her team can spend more time with every patient. Quality time is our goal for each patient experience.

Your wishes and concerns are the central focus of everything that we do here at Beach Braces. We will provide you and your family dentist with a clear explanation of your treatment plan. Dr. Panucci is highly connected to the South Bay dental community, and because of this, she treats many interdisciplinary cases. We extend a «care call» after every long procedure to check in on your progress.

When you meet Dr. Panucci, you will notice that she loves to smile. She’d like to make smiling a contagious habit by helping others feel confident about their smiles. She prides herself on treating her patients with the utmost interest and consideration while, at the same time, providing them with the latest in cutting-​edge orthodontic technology. She gives top priority to ensuring that all orthodontic treatment is tailored to each patient’s needs and lends her energy, enthusiasm and commitment to each individual. Business Owner

Dr. Patti Panucci thinks she was fated to be an orthodontist. Born the third of four daughters in Pittsburgh, PA her parents still talk about how Patti would enthusiastically brush her teeth several times a day. Even now, she has never had a cavity. Her parents encouraged her to pursue her dream of becoming an orthodontist and prepared her for the many years of schooling that were in her future. After her family’s relocation to Louisville, KY, she entered Ball State University (in Muncie, Ind. — David Letterman’s college), where she of the Division I field hockey team for two years and received a B.S. in biology. Then, it was off to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry for four years, where she graduated with a DMD degree among the Top 10 in her class. Following that, she headed to Los Angeles to complete her three-​year residency at the University of Southern California. Along with her certificate in orthodontics, Dr. Panucci earned a master’s degree in craniofacial biology.

I loved everything about Dr. Panucci office. The staff, the receiption area, the little touches during the visit, like private parking with my daughters name on it. I really can go on and on. My 11 year old requires braces and I want to make sure I am getting her quality care. I went to other consultations and was not completely impressed. I came here and Dr. Panucci explained the entire process to me and my daughter. She did a comprehensive check on her teeth and explained her findings to us while we viewed the teeth on a screen. She took her time made great eye contact and made my daughter feel 100% comfortable. We watched a short really cute video too. After our consultation we found out that we aren’t able to start braces for another 6 months due to some of her tooth roots needing just a little longer to close. Wow, Not pushing to close a sale, pushing for healthy happy teeth! When we walked out of her office my daughter said to me «this is where I want my braces from», I said «me too» sold! We have an appointment scheduled for October and I am looking forward to trusting my princess with Dr. Panucci.

Dr. Panucci and her staff are awesome. I had a hockey accident with a fractured jaw and several teeth knocked out. During the 4 weeks that my jaw was wired shut, several of my teeth moved over preventing the dentist from installing my new teeth. Dr panucci designed Braces for my unique situation. Between the oral surgeon and dentist the Braces were being constantly adjusted. I would refer Dr. Panucci to anyone looking for great and friendly service.

I came here for a braces/​Invisalign consultation. All the staff, including Dr. Panucci, were very friendly and knowledgeable. Their office is clearly up-​to-​date with recent technology, and seemed like a welcoming environment for adults and children alike. Their range of hours was also great, and I found myself impressed with everything about this office. The price tag does match the high-​quality they exhibit, so I recommend checking your insurance coverage! :)

Dr. Panucci and her office are hands down, the best run orthodontist office I’ve ever been to. Both my children went to her for years. I recently had an issue with my bite and she took three appointments to finesse my bite back into shape instead of going the braces route. THANK YOU!

As a former employee, I would like to write a review with a view from the «other side» of this fine orthodontic practice. I’ve written a few reviews on Unilocal because I believe, when a person goes above and beyond, they deserve kind words!
I worked for Dr. Panucci very briefly, about a year ago. I have worked for the best of the best, as well as the worst of the worst (albeit when I was much younger and a bit naïve). I have not only been on the management side, but I also spent many years working chairside as an R.D.A. I have seen both sides of how an orthodontic office is managed. I have seen doctors who truly care about the well-​being of their patients with regard to their treatment, comfort, happiness, and end result. I have also seen doctors who care more about padding their pockets — unfortunately. I have also seen the in-​between doctors who just plug along because it’s a paycheck. Dr. Panucci is a doctor who TRULY cares about her patients, their families, and her staff! She is multi-​dimensional! She is the ultimate professional! I have never seen an orthodontist be so completely engaging with not only her patients and their families, but, with her staff members as well! She holds a morning «huddle» with her staff every day to discuss the schedule and what certain patients may need that day. She holds contests for the patients and is just such a pleasant, upbeat, professional woman in general! She treats brand new patients like royalty, and even puts a «reserved for» parking sign in her parking spot under the building, for their first appointment! Her smile is infectious, and her vibe is even more so! For the very brief time I worked for Dr Panucci I LOVED going to work every day, and I have to say that I miss it! That truly was a place where I would have happily worked late, come in early, whatever! I found myself always wanting to not only do my job correctly, but go above and beyond to help her practice become even more successful than it is!
Unfortunately, my employment with Dr. Panucci was short-​lived and I chose to leave the practice due to a personality clash with another employee. I have worked with dozens of women over the years, sometimes, in quite small spaces, and have never had to deal with anything like that. It was truly disheartening to me to make the choice to leave, and I often think I should have tried to work it out. In any event, I would just like to say that Dr. Panucci is a professional woman who really makes a difference not only in this community, but I feel she really changes lives with her orthodontic expertise!
Thank you, Dr. Panucci, for allowing me the experience of witnessing true professionalism and caring in every regard! I wish there were more doctors who cared as much!

I’ve only gone for one appt so far to have a consultation, but I was so impressed I decided to write a review. The first thing I noticed when I pulled up to the office was a sign with my name on it and a reserved parking space! I met with Shelly and Dr. Panucci and they were both so wonderful! I felt very comfortable and all the information was clear and concise. I am so excited to get my invisalign in January!

From the moment i entered the practice, i was kindly greeted by Mina. Once inside the office, Shelly was incredibly informative with regard to the procedure i was seeking. Equally important were the billing options and insurance coverage offered and the thorough explanation she furnished to me.
Once I understood the procedure, Dr Panucci met with me and with her outstanding knowledge further explained what would happen and how long it would take to accomplish my dental goals.
I’ve had the pleasure of being cared for by the finest in working with Dr Panucci and her best in class staff. I’d highly recommend her and her practice. This is a no brainer!

Well, I’m sort of an easy «fix». (I was an ortho patient 25 years ago!) But I am still married to my retainers (removable and fixed — attached to the teeth). My retainer that was attached became detached many times. I had moved to a new area and didn’t know where to turn… I took a recommendation from a friend and am so lucky I did. (Dr. Panucci to the rescue!) Dr. Panucci placed an even better retainer wire 4 years ago and I haven’t had an issue since. She has a beautiful office, a wonderful warm staff and a winning smile herself! I don’t need any treatment personally, but I referred a good friend (53 year old man) to her and his treatment came out beautifully. I don’t want to write a review for him but, what a difference to see him and his confidence level! Dr. Panucci really is fantastic! 5plus!

Love going to Dr. Panucci’s Office!!! It is cozy and they make you feel like family. Im currently doing Invisalign with Beach Braces and I absolutely love it! They involve the patients in so many activities & contest. All the children that go to thier office are always smiling and happy to be there which is not really seen at an orthodontics office. As an adult its really easy to schedule appointments that fit my school schedule & work. The RDAs are really funny and outgoing in the back and they walk you through the whole process while you are in the chair. Dr. Panucci is always available if I have a question & i LOVE that!!! Thank you Dr. P, Shelley, Mina, Araceli, Mary & Gloria for making my perfect smile adventure a fun one! See you at my next appointment! :)

Dr. Panucci is a miracle-​worker. I had horribly crooked teeth… they were uneven, jagged, and even had some pointed edges on some. My bite was also completely off. Dr. Panucci worked with Invisalign to completely correct all of the problems I had. I have to admit, I had my doubts. But after I completed the series of trays, the Dr. filed down all the uneven teeth and I was AMAZED at how PERFECT my smile is. My bite was also corrected. I now get people coming up to me regularly saying how beautiful my teeth are and that I have a «celebrity» smile. :o)

I really hesitated to write this review because Dr. Panucci’s staff and office are simply amazing. Everyone is so friendly and delightful and the office is beautiful inside, which made me really comfortable.
The downside, I’m spending (still on the monthly plan) over $ 2,000 out of pocket for orthodontic work and my teeth are not 100% straight. I’ve completed my treatment and I’m disappointed.
Get second opinions — look into Invisalign. I wouldn’t recommend to others.

There are only two words to describe the treatment I received from Dr. Panucci (aka. Dr P.).
AWE-​SOME!
I traveled a lot during my 18 month treatment program, Dr P’s front office staff were always very friendly and even squeezed me in for appointments during my 3 – 4 day layovers in Manhattan Beach. Even though the atmosphere is geared towards children Dr. Panucci answered all of my technical questions for how the treatment would proceed, why it would take ~18 months to straighten MY teeth, and why we added things like turbos when we did. She even told me that around 60% of their clients are adults, go figure.
With 5 months left in my treatment program I became engaged and a wedding was schedule only 4 months away… The doctor and her staff again squeezed me in not only to remove my braces in time for the wedding but also have my retainers made before I left for my honeymoon. Can’t tell you how happy the wife was about that!
Go see Dr P. and her staff, collect some sand dollars, enjoy the happy relaxed atmosphere and most importantly get your teeth straightened the right way.
