Web course and personal online tutoring for the NBCOT

Exam prep that works. Passing the NBCOT just got a little easier with our proprietary web course and personal tutoring. Rather than just providing an overview of the exam and general test taking strategies, our exam prep programs focus on the most relevant topic areas, provide easy to understand explanations of complex subject matter, approach difficult subject matter from multiple angles, and ensure that students stop making careless mistakes. This approach streamlines studying for the NBCOT. By helping Cota and OT students stay focused on the information that they often miss because they are overwhelmed and distracted by information in books that rarely shows up on the exam, we save them valuable study time as well as we make their study efforts more efficient. Our web course consists of proprietary NBCOT study guides, 13 hours of audio recordings, worksheets on the most important topics (including pediatric development, SCI, ACL, Hands. Wheelchair, & Rancho), flashcards, study schedules, test taking tips, weekly practice tests with rationale (over 500 test questions), timed practice exams, and a final cumulative exam.

Business Owner

Stephanie Shane, M.S. OTR/​L started tutoring in 2010 and since then, she has helped countless OT’s and OTA’s pass the NBCOT. Stephanie takes great pride in her studying methods and her materials and works every day to make sure students pass this incredibly difficult test. She received a Master’s of Science degree with honors in Occupational Therapy from California State University Dominguez Hills. In addition, she attained a BA in Marketing and Business Management from the University of Arizona. Since graduation, she has worked in a variety of settings working with both children and adults, however her primary therapy experience is in pediatrics
