Specialties
Lessons
We offer in-home private music lessons to all ages. These lessons are one-on-one or in small groups, and we welcome any level of ability and experience. We teach a variety of instruments, including guitar, bass, piano, drums, ukulele, banjo, as well as many band and string instruments.
Our teachers are lifelong members of the South Bay music community. They are patient, enthusiastic, and creative musicians who have years of experience in teaching and performing. They are committed to fostering young musicians, honing new and old skills, and contributing to the next generation of local music.
Rentals/merchandise
Part of our service is to help supply you with the instrument you need; we have many instruments available for rent or purchase. We are here to help find what suits your needs best
Repairs
Along with our music lessons brought to your home, we also offer a mobile repair service. Our technicians will either fix your instrument on site or take it to our workspace

Meet the Business Owner
Dan G.
Business Owner
Don’t let his long hair fool you, Dan Geier is not your average guitarist (i.e. the one found playing on weeknights to an empty venue). Yes, like many, he started his musical career at an early age when he was trying to find something more interesting than sports or video games to play. Then after many years of study and practice, he received his degree in music from El Camino College and started giving guitar lessons. Of course, «Stairway to Heaven,» among others, is in his repertoire. (No headbanging jokes!) Yet all those classical rock song requests didn’t stop Dan from pursuing his real career, which is to teach music. In 2011, he officially launched Next Note Music, where students of all ages and abilities in the South Bay have a chance at becoming real-life guitar heroes.
