Went here today and got a massage from Cody. Very good and very professional. Will def go back.

This place is great. Jules is a terrific therapist — I have been there about 10 or so times and always request Jules, although she is frequently booked and I have had a few others as well. Convenient location/​parking, staff is always friendly. Nothing fancy, but that is not the point. I always leave feeling better and with less stress.

I booked an appointment for my husband’s birthday, really last minute, and they were able to accommodate him. The best part is, he loved it! He’s had pretty bad experiences at other places so he was nervous about this place, but now, it is permanently on my list of gifts for him! I think his masseuse was Jamie.

I have come in for a few massages. I don’t remember who my first massage was with. I had tweaked my back and the receptionist asked if I would be ok having a male massage therapist. TREVOR was very Zen, professional and has amazing hands. The first few times I had booked Trevor, I needed a massage. When I booked him just because I wanted a massage, my experience was just as good. Because of Trevor and his magical hands — I will be joining the massage membership so I can treat myself once a month.

Had a neuromuscular massage here last night with Trevor and he did a great job! I instantly felt less tight! The entire process took about 55 minutes, including consultation and work done. This is a no frills place with private rooms and very clean. Feels more like a doctor’s office than a spa for sure but that was what I was expecting. Front desk was nice. I would definitely come back again since it is around the corner.

I used a groupon last summer and have now had a neuromuscular membership for almost a year. I used to bounce around to different places, but Massage Revolution is the only place I go to now. The neuromuscular massage has been great for me as I have a lot of lower back, hip and sciatica issues. My body has never felt better and the therapists are great, especially Lidia and Jules.

I have been thoroughly pleased with my experience at Massage Revolution. The therapists have been great and I look forward to each appointment. The staff has been professional and friendly with me. I always appreciate the way I feel after the massages, and I get relief from the discomfort.

I went with my mom and it was our first time there. The people at the front desk were kind and very accommodating. My mom had a deep tissue massage, which she loved, and I had a neuromuscular massage that was just O.K. I wrote down that I was having pain in my feet, but the lady never even touched them. Prior to my massage I schedule one for my fiancé to have on a different day. He told me he received a great foot rub from the same muses. So that’s a little strange.
I will definitely be giving it another shot, but getting the deep tissue massage instead.
Oh yeah, and throughout the entire hour I was repeatedly asked what level of pain I was experiencing from a scale of 1 – 10. It made it hard to relax.
When I get my next massage, I’m sure I’ll change my rating to 5 stars.

MASSAGES AND MASSAGE THERAPISTS ARE WONDERFUL! I have seen many therapists, and although I of course have my favorites, I have never had a bad massage experience (and I consider myself pretty picky!)
The only reason for the low review is the service from reception — they are not very friendly, and they are super unorganized. I’ve had my therapist changed multiple times without being notified, they very often book massages then later have to cancel them because the therapist isn’t available or scheduled to work that day, they have «lost» appointments I’ve made several times. If they could fix this — they would be 5 stars FOR SURE!

I’ve been dealing with limited hip mobility and popping hip syndrome for months. I had one neuromuscular massage at Massage Revolution and it was much better. After three, the problem is gone. I will definitely be going back.

I have been having neck pain that causes migraines for the past couple of months. I go to a chiropractor that performs active release therapy, which has helped a lot but I never was able to get rid of my neck pain. I just saw David who did the neuromuscular massage on my neck and back. He is AMAZING. He applied the perfect amount of pressure and always made sure I wasn’t in too much pain/​discomfort throughout my session. I was able to tell the release of tension IMMEDIATELY. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to release pain or simply relax. I’ve gone to plenty of (over priced) spas, which was relaxing and nice but it wasn’t very productive in terms of releasing my pain. Massage Revolution has great pricing for memberships and they offer great services that are good for the mind, body, and soul!

Massage Revolution is the best therapy business in the South Bay. From their peaceful ambience, super-​friendly and accommodating front desk staff, management and of course their amazing therapists, I receive great service for a great price and come out feeling rejuvenated. Management has also been very quick to respond to any issues I’ve had with billing, sessions or just general questions.
If you only go once a month I would still recommend signing up for their membership package which gets you a discounted rate on massages. Currently my favorite masseuse is Julie. She is intuitive, nurturing and has a variety of techniques to work trouble spots. Mia was also great at working out kinks in my elbow and sub scapular region. Pretty sure you can’t go wrong with any of their therapy staff. Overall Massage Revolution exceeds my expectations and I do not hesitate to refer friends and acquaintances. Thank you!!!

Have gone twice now, and got a membership. Trevor is fantastic to work with. He really listens to what’s happening with your body and works the areas you’re concerned about that particular day. The ladies at reception couldn’t be nicer, and Michael is always eager to answer questions. The place is comfy, cozy, easy to find and has lots of free parking! I tried Massage Revolution because of the hours, but I’m sticking with them because of the service.

I’ve been coming here for over a year & every massage I’ve had has been absolutely amazing. This place literally works wonders. I work out & snowboard often so it’s super beneficial to get my muscles back into shape after they’ve been worked so hard. The membership discount is a great deal for monthly visits. I’ve been to lots of other places all over Southern California & never had as great of an experience. They take massages to another level.

I’m so glad I found this place! Kate is the best-​she gets booked up fast though, so you have to plan way ahead. The place is clean, free parking and the price is great! The receptionist staff is professional and friendly.

I’ve had chronic neck and back pain for 10 years, and massage therapy has always been recommended. However, I haven’t encountered any practices (until now!) that take insurance. So glad to have found Massage Revolution!
I’ve been worked on by 3 different therapists for neuromuscular massages and all were amazing! I definitely suggest seeing several different people to experience their massage styles.
I did have an issue at one appointment, but I brought it to the owner’s attention and he was quick to apologize and offer a make-​good.

Worst massage I have ever had. The masseuse talked the entire time. There was absolutely no flow. She was jumpy and not thorough. I felt like a child was rubbing my back. When I asked for change from an employee who inquired if I needed help, the receptionist snapped at me that she was busy, and I wasn’t even talking to her.
By far the most unprofessional place I have ever been. Never again.

Dissappointed. Yes, their massages are less than 60 mins but I could deal with that if the massage and service were on point. However, this is what happened:
First massage I had was great. She listened and worked on the areas I spoke about. She found knots and worked them out. I was in heaven for about a week! One of the stars is for her. I decided to go back and forgot to ask for the same person. 2^nd massage wasn’t so great. It was horrible, actually.
So I called to let them know what happened and if I could receive a discount on my next massage since they advertise a guarantee on their website. The lady said she would inquire and call me back. I also made another appt with my 1^st masseuse.
A week later no call back. I call again for an update. This time I speak to someone else who states that the last person I spoke with was new so she could have made a mistake. She also stated that there were no notes abt an appt or about a refund/​discount. At this point I’m really upset and leave it as it is.
Come the date of the appt, I get an email reminder. So I call AGAIN and ask why I have an appt if the last call I was told there was no appt in my record. I think she remembered me because her tone changed and said «we can just remove it. Is there anything else I can help you with?»
Alrighty then. I am more frustrated than anything. Massages aren’t cheap and when you’ve got pain, you don’t mind paying. I just wish I could find a place with consistency, value and great service. After all, I am paying you for the service!

I took a gamble here with a Groupon and it worked out. I don’t know how many massages I got — maybe 15. I def had some relaxing massages here! All in all, your experience will depend on the time of day you go and who your therapist is. I suggest going earlier in the day and hydrating yourself with lots of water before you go (and use the restroom first)! The bathroom line gets long as you can imagine with all the people arriving and leaving on the hour.
All the massages are done in private rooms which is nice and makes it easier to zen out. Check in with the receptionist and wait your turn. Sometimes I was 10 mins early and waited another 10 mins. Sometimes I was 5 mins late and was seen immediately and just paid afterwards. I think that is the issue with all massage locations (not only Massage Rev) — they book back to back appointments and you might end up a little behind schedule. Hence, come earlier.
I liked several of the therapists and didn’t dislike any. They all have their own styles and personalities. Some talked a lot, some didn’t, some used oils, some used lotion, some played waterfall-​rainforest music…(you get it).You will get a mix of people and it really depends on what you like. I suggest Alexis– she is a a pro and will focus on your specific areas with the right amount of pressure. No complaints from any massages with her. If you like it intense, book with Kate. I have crazy knots and Kate gives you a genuine deep tissue massage without quitting or going half-​ass on you! It will hurt in a very good way. The therapists all watch the clock pretty strictly and unless you started very late, they will finish early to let you dress and get water. I don’t know why, but their water cups are very small. However, if you drank a lot before you got there you should be OK.
I think you should NOT go into it thinking a massage every week will solve your back pain /​neck pain/​whatever. You really need to take into account your work and lifestyle. I know I need to stretch at work, take a yoga class, drink more water and generally stress out less. I am sure this combo would instantly do wonders in alleviating my back pain. Just don’t expect miracles is all I am saying.
I recently went back to acupuncture, but I did enjoy Massage Revolution and their neuromuscular massage therapy!
OTHER:
— I suggest making your appt if you are there and there is a lull in foot traffic. Otherwise, I have had occasions where they are too busy and you get the answering machine.
— They take PPO. Their plan is pretty good; you can come a set amount of times depending on your insurance. They bill the hell out of your insurance, but you just pay your co-​pay each time.
— Even though it was a medical expense for me, I still tipped fairly. I would feel like an asshole if not… they have tip envelopes at the front. Which like their water cups are very small. If you have a lot of $ 1 bills just give it to the receptionist or else the cash won’t fit in the envelope which won’t fit in the tip box.
— PARKING: if you come the back way (southbound) go through the one way, underground parking area to the side of the building. If you are going north on Sepulveda, turn after El Torito into the lot. The office is right on the first floor. Note that this lot is tricky to get out of during rush hour.
