I was in New York for a year and crying because I couldn’t see Dr. Okada and the wonderful people at Manhattan Beach Vision Group! They are so thorough and detail oriented when it comes to finding the right prescription for your eyes. You don’t find this kind of good work everywhere, and I’m so glad that I moved back so that I can get my vision back on track. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.
Also, great selection of eyewear from various brands to fit your budget from Calvin Klein to Paul Frank to Prada to Converse.
I also have to mention that the staff is really wonderful here. Very positive, smart, funny and caring people.
And they have coffee and chocolate in the lobby.
I mean I’m trying to think of a weak point… Nope… Nothing occurs to me… They’re the best!

The service I received during my recent visit was, what I can only describe as perfect. Everyone is very courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and genuine in their mission to provide the type of service we only read about. There was, not one exception, nor gripe, I can provide. Everyone knew their job, and going from one process to the other, was very fluid, and efficient. Doc Funnell and Colin were very pleasant while performing the preliminary testing, and the exam with the Doc. Every detail covered. Every concern addressed.
When it came time to pick out glasses, you’ll have Paul there to make sure you understand every facet of how your insurance will work. His knowledge of their product is impressive. Prices are very reasonable!
Flawless visit. Go check them out.

Went here for the first time today. Was able to get an appointment yesterday. The girl was very helpful on the phone with info and insurance coverage. When we arrived the office is very nice and clean. All the staff is very happy all smiles and available for help. My kids enjoyed the kids play area. Wendy did a phenomenal job helping my daughter pick out frames, and working with insurance. We will definitely be back again to bring in the rest of our family!

My husband and I both go to this office for our optometry needs. This place is amazing! This was probably my best optometrist visit to date! I went to see Dr. Choi to get my prescription update for my eyeglasses and new contacts. He is a very intelligent and professional optometrist. I am so happy I found my eye doctor! Their eyeglasses selection is GIGANTIC! They have many options in store and will help guide you through the different options as well as letting you know what your insurance covers. I got the chance to meet Wendy when I was selecting a new pair of frames. She is FANTASTIC! She helped guide me through the process and informed me of my insurance coverage. I am extremely happy with the staff and professionalism at Manhattan Beach Vision Group.

Ok so Doctors and Paul get 5 stars, they were professional and nice.
Some of the ladies helping you pick glasses and make your order get 2 stars.
Paul is extremely nice and cares, I was there on a Thursday when they open until 6pm and no one helped me… this blonde lady came up to me just to say: we are closing in 15 minutes. Oh she did said: if you can’t decide we get more inventory on a weekly basis so you can come back and pick.
Yeah like i want to leave work early again and have to come back. I just wanted to get it all done that day but the ladies were not helpful, you could tell they just wanted to get out of there asap, right at 5.30pm I saw them all get ready to leave even though they close at 6pm.
Paul saw me undecided and helped me picked between 3 frames, he gave me advice on what would look better for my face shape, then he sat down with me and explained everything about my insurance and options, what was extra, what was covered, etc.
HE IS EXTREMELY NICE AND HELPFUL, even though it was pass 6pm he took care of me.

Great facility, staff and care! They were extremely nice, professional and on time. This was my first time going there and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new eye doctor. They do a comprehensive eye exam and spends quality time with you during your visit. They also have a nice selection of designer glasses and sunglasses to choose from in their facility. Greatest part too is there is PLENTY of parking under the office so you do not have to worry about finding a spot on the street! Beyond satisfied!

Dr. Okado and his associates were awesome! I hadn’t been to the eye doctor in quite a few years. Manhattan Vision offers a thorough eye exam with patient and knowledgable professionals at a reasonable price. Every person I met put me at ease — even for the dreaded glaucoma test! I would definitely recommend this practice and I plan to go back for my next eye exam!

Very happy with my care with Dr. Choi and at Manhattan Beach Vision Group. Their processes are efficient going from station to station for testing before seeing the doctor. The appointments with the doctor are comprehensive and never feel rushed. When new glasses or frames are needed, the opticians are very good at what they do.

You are going to LOVE Manhattan Beach Vision Group. The facility is super nice, plenty of parking, the staff were ALL so friendly, the equipment is super modern, and the optometrist was so nice and explained everything very clearly, not rushed, no surprise fees for services, etc. I felt very cared for. The staff were so awesome keeping my 1 year old entertained while I was getting my eyes checked out by various machines (my 4 year old was happily entertained by our iPad). They instantly made me feel comfortable and welcomed with both kids, saying «We are family friendly!».

You walk into their well decorated, relaxing and spacious office and are greeted by the friendly office staff. Sherry gives you a big hello and points you to the Keurig and offers «Good and Plentys» from the free gumball machine. Next one of the sweet technicians takes you to the exam area where they perform extensive state-​of-​the-​art testing.
I am lucky to have Dr. Funnell, who is very friendly and while he checks my vision we discuss interesting topics like bicycling across Europe. He takes time to explain the various tests results and why they perform some of them.
Next, Paul directs me to their extensive eyeglass display. He shows me all the options with the pair I choose and recommends a slightly smaller size. Their are many options on the type of glass (personally I like the ones that turn into sunglasses outdoors) plus you have options on the length of warranty. Since mine often are scratched due to carelessness, I can bring mine back and have the lens replaced.
Dr. Okado had to look at my eye in an emergency once, he was very nice and thorough, as well. My husband has been their client since they opened and me for the last six years. We will stay with the group even if our insurance changes. They are all great.

Had my first appointment two weeks ago and had such a great experience from start to finish. I had to reschedule without 24 hours and they were really understanding and kind. Everyone was so nice and the office seemed much more advanced compared to what I’m used to. I picked out my frames and they came in less than a week. Nice space too, big open lobby with coffee and candy. I’m telling friends and coworkers to go! Great find.

I am not a client. In fact, I had never been in the office until a few days ago.
I accidentally sat on my sunglasses and twisted them out of shape. I was looking for an office that could perhaps fix them. I went in there and was greeted so nicely. I told them what had happened and they took me right away to a technician who fixed the sunglasses. I asked how much I owed them and she said nothing. Then she gave me a cleaning cloth for the sunglasses!
I have had Lasik so I have no need for their services. If I needed their services, I would definitely go there.

This place is great. I’ve been wearing glasses for about 10 years and contacts for about 5, so when I moved out here, I had to find a new optometrist. Since I was new to the area, I just found this place based on the fact that my insurance had them on a list of doctors who accepted my specific plan, so I just went with them.
The people who work here are so incredibly knowledgeable with everything from glasses and contacts, to the break down of insurance and what is covered vs. what I needed to pay out of pocket. I recently got my yearly eye exam, and was very pleased with how professional and knowledgeable everyone is. Everything I had questions about was explained in a clear and concise manner to me, and I left my eye exam completely satisfied.
Anyone who is looking for an eye doctor or for a place to get their glasses or contacts should come here!

Thank you card with Noah’s gift card, goodies when you finish your visit! The wait was kind of long durning the weekday and there was a lot of back in forth between assistants and the optometrist, but overall a good experience and I am happy to have them.

Wow I really lucked out! My insurance changed and I looked up an office close to my home. Unilocalers endorsed this place but I really has no idea how great an eye exam could be! They have a free untimed unmetered covered parking lot. The receptionist was friendly and efficient (I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time). The eye tests were painless (and I’m a wimp!). No more puff of air or crusted over eyes dilated so much you can’t drive for the day. Their little testing center is top notch and expertly run as they explain what each machine does.
The office itself is huge, clean and welcoming. Large selection of glasses.
