Dr. Rackett and his staff are the best! I always feel welcome whenever I am here and the whole staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I have seen Dr. Rackett numerous times for medical and have seen his associate Daniela Leslie twice for cosmetic– Every visit with both was great. Dr. Rackett has removed skin cancers and precancerous moles for me and has helped me with my acne. I really appreciate how thorough he is at each visit and that he takes his time to make sure that all of my questions are answered before I leave. My visits with Daniela were very informative and she was very understanding of my nerves as I had never tried lasers or injectables before. All around excellent care from everyone in this office!

I first want to say that I absolutely love the décor, the look and the feel of the office! So cute!
I was called into a room very quickly and the medical assistant was super sweet! Then the PA Angelyn was amazing! She came in the room right away and took her time with me. I love the GlowMD products too. They are pricey but they are worth it.
I highly recommend this office if you are looking for a good dermatology group. I will definitely be back! Great experience all together!

Dr. Racket has a pleasant demeanor. He is very professional and does a great job. He removed two bumps for me and it seemed like the procedure went well. His front desk is easy to work with and there have been no surprises with cost of procedures. All in all its been good going to the office.
Update: I just had the nurse practitioner inject a few scars and not only is she beautiful, she is also really nice and competent. i really like this place.

Going to a doctors office is seldom «fun». There’s usually a certain amount of dread and apprehension about results, procedures, paperwork, etc. The staff here was professional, lighthearted and seemingly in good spirits. When the doctor came in (Dr. Rackett) he greeted me with a smile asked a couple questions and looked me over. I was relieved when he told me that I had nothing to worry about and that everything looked good. A couple minutes later I was on my way. Oh, they have good cookies at the front counter too.

went in for my son and they were very attentive and helpful to find an alternative medication for him. hope it works.

Appointment: accommodating, professional and acceptable time frame of getting an appointment as a new patient.
Location: across the Manhattan Village, easy to see and locate.
Parking: ample parking spots
Front Desk: Nice and welcoming staff. Forms were not just copied over and over again. It looks like it’s printed out of a PDF or word document. Pertinent questions about dermatology and personal information.
Medical assistant: Liz was very professional, nice and explained procedure and use of products.
Dr. Racket: Professional, nice and very welcoming. He explained the causes and treatment options.
I will definitely go back and considering them as my Dermatology place and will definitely recommend them.

I have been going here for 5 years now– and my skin has consistently been clear. Dr. Rackett and Dr. Cormeli are both brilliant!

Went in today to get a mole removed for biopsy. My primary care physician said she could remove it… But I didn’t want to risk anything so I started looking near my house for a derm that takes my insurance. It honestly took me about a week of looking at web reviews and websites until I found Manhattan Beach Dermatology. The reason why I picked them is because their front desk was very helpful with my questions (especially about out of pocket costs) and their paperwork listed on their website looked the most medically based. I had a bad experience in the past when I went to a derm who recommended injections and other cosmetic procedures… When I was 20. So I always try to find a medically based dermatologist instead of a cosmetically based one. Well I definitely found it! I saw Dr. Racket today and he removed a mole for biopsy. It was COMPLETELY pain free and very quick. Everyone was very nice and explained exactly what was happening. They made sure I was clear about what would happen next, and when to expect results from the biopsy. I definitely recommend going to Manhattan Beach Dermatology! (I know they do cosmetic things too, so when that time comes for me I will definitely bring my business back :)) Thanks guys for all your help!

I had my first appointment today and saw Dr. Karmeili. I really like my experience the office was very clean and welcoming. Dr. Karmeili was very smart and listens to what you have say and she doesn’t rush you out the door. In addition I like the fact that she started me with treatment right away.

I absolutely adore doctor Rackett. He is incredibly knowledgable in the field of dermatology. Every time I’m in his office I feel totally confident that I’m in good hands. I’ve seen him for multiple reasons, one of those being removal of cancerous moles. Let me tell you, this man is great! I didn’t feel a thing when he removed my moles, and he was fast! He’s also given me a great acne régime to follow in previous years. Recently, he’s prescribed me some wonderful creams for my aging skin. I love his personal line of products they sell in their office. The products are adorable, smell good, and work better than anything I’ve ever tried. Please visit him if you are concerned about your skin. You will leave his office feeling great about yourself and confident you will look your best!

I have been to MBD under the care of Daniela Leslie. I have some expectations before she made her recommendations. Her treatment exceeded my expectations. Even others have commented on my face suggesting that I had a procedure. The rest of the staff and the environment were wer nice, inviting and professional.
Can’t wait to return for more!

Tried to get an appointment here and they wouldn’t take my Anthem Blue Cross PPO insurance because it is an Affordable Care Act plan. Huh. C’mon people.

I have been a patient at Manhattan Beach Dermatology since it opened. Dr. Rackett and his office staff have always been friendly and proficient. The office is clean and polished.
Dr. Kormeili is friendly and warm. I saw her for a full body scan. She was quick, thorough and efficient. She made me feel very comfortable.
I have actually been a patient of Dr. Rackett for many years for a variety of different skin issues. Dr. Rackett is a caring and compassionate dermatologist. He is a good listener and very understanding. For me, skin issues such as acne, moles, and freckles can be just as uncomfortable emotionally, as physically. In my experience, Dr. Rackett has always been sensitive and sympathetic to my concerns. He has consistently treated me with kindness and professionalism in the constant effort of making my ever-​aging skin healthy and looking the best it can be.

I have been going here as a patient for the last 3 years and there are many things that have prompted this review. From the first appointment I ever had, I liked the clean and inviting atmosphere and find the office staff to be accommodating yet efficient, especially when I need to reschedule an appointment. The clinicians are awesome and very friendly, I have been treated here by Dr Rackett and Nurse Practitioner, Daniela Leslie. I really appreciate the extra time they take to thoroughly explain what needs to be done and educating me on what my treatment options are in a manner I understand.
