I’m not sure Maggie really another 5 star review here. but she certainly deserves it.
Maggie helped me sell my 2 bedroom condo in Playa Del Rey in 2015 while I was living in San Francisco. I’m not stranger to real estate and have dealt with many agents in the buying and selling process. I’m not unreasonable but I have high expectations for people doing their jobs well. Throughout the whole process, Maggie was friendly, smart, helpful, organized, proactive, HONEST, practical… anyone still reading this?
What I appreciated the most was how well Maggie listened to me and was able to adapt to my style. I didn’t need as much hand holding as a first-​time buyer but I like to know what’s going on and make my own decisions. Maggie got that and was able to keep me updated, be straight to the point while giving me her advice based on her own experiences while listening to my opinions. I felt like my opinions and decisions were respected. I ended up receiving multiple offers and accepting an offer that was above my asking price. She even organized an easy to read comparison of all the offers that was EXTREMELY appreciated.
It was a real pleasure working with Maggie and I’m immensely grateful to her for making the process so stress-​free for me. I just wish I had the opportunity to meet her in person.

I’m picky and exacting and expect a lot from my agent. I always hoped that her involvement in the process would be intelligent, detailed and well thought out — and she was. Maggie is the smartest agent I’ve ever worked with. She knows how to work the deal like an astute poker player. She knows when to give a little and when to ask for something that is fairly yours. She cares and will work amazingly hard for you.

Maggie did it again! She helped us buy our first home, and late last year she helped us sell it. With the holidays approaching, it was not an ideal time to put a home on the market. Maggie insisted that we get it into shipshape BEFORE Thanksgiving. It was a challenging deadline to meet, but she pushed us to do it. And it was absolutely the right move. The first people who saw the house ended up buying it. What a relief!
Maggie helped us every step of the way. She made what could have been a highly stressful process feel relatively easy. She answered every question we had, no matter how dumb they seemed. She was available to us almost anytime, day or night. I give Maggie and her team the highest possible recommendation if you’re looking to buy or sell a home in the South Bay or anywhere in L.A.

Most of the Unilocal reviews relate to buying homes. I am happy that I can offer a review from a selling perspective. Maggie and Gina helped me sell a family member’s house in the Baldwin Hills area. They were honest about the condition of the house, list price and how to strategically market the property. It took the family a few months to ready the house before listing, but Maggie kept in touch with me during those trying months. We didn’t make it easy for her. When Maggie saw that I was struggling with family members, she patiently complied with special requests in order to us to agree on listing parameters: sell AS IS, market to investors only, no open houses to general public (aka nosy neighbors), no for sale sign, etc. Just as Maggie anticipated, the house sold quickly and with multiple offers! It wasn’t easy navigating the family drama but Maggie and Gina made the selling process as easy as possible.
I don’t live in Los Angeles which is where the house is located. No problemo! Maggie can and will sell your house! She also aligns herself with a great team of professionals, including title and escrow officers, to get the property sold in an orderly and efficient manner.

This is my first ever review i am writing about someone in my life, about Maggie and her team.
Maggie is like a real estate book for anyone out their who want to purchase a house/​home. With her vast knowledge she proactively educates buyers in every step of home purchase and not only that even after closing she still sends us tax reminders as well. I can’t expect more than this from any agent. Our whole home buying process completed within short period of 70 days.
Maggie team: Gina and stefanie both are wonderful persons, both were very helpful in our home process. Gina is like «Go getter», and she organized whole inspections and all other relevant meetings. Whole team has best performing and negotiating skills.
TEAM WORK.
While home processing, whole team were replying to our emails within minutes, where me and my wife were really amazed with their work and cooperation. With all their support and dedication we became first time home buyers.
We will give them 100 our of 100 stars. Re/​max maggie team is the best of the best. Me and my wife recommend maggie team to everyone out there.

This is my first ever Unilocal review! The quality of service and endless hard work from Maggie, Stefanie and team has compelled me to finally quit being lazy and log in to write a review on their behalf.
Maggie came highly referred to us from 2 separate friends. She was billed as «an extremely hard worker», and now having gone through our first home buying experience with her, I can only add that this is a HUGE understatement! Maggie’s professionalism, organization, responsiveness, real estate IQ, I repeat responsiveness and top-​notched team of professionals (including both her assistant Stefanie as well as her network of professionals – loan providers, inspectors, plumbers, roofers, handymen, etc.) sets her apart from other agents. Ours was not a straight-​forward purchase, having to deal with potential mold issues, and could have easily fallen through or turned contentious with the Sellers. Instead, Maggie carefully and strategically negotiated on our behalf and ultimately got us 100% of our ask from the Sellers (btw, she ran rings around the listing agent, teaching both us and him along the way).
Maggie’s white-​glove service does not end with your home purchase. She and Stefanie continue to check-​in with us, offering any kind of friendly assistance from neighborhood info (childcare, amenities, professional services, etc.) to client appreciation activities (she recently held a pumpkin patch event for the kids). She serviced us around the clock, so much so that we felt as though we were her only clients (except that she has many others, you just would not know it). In summary, I cannot say enough good things about Maggie and what she did and continues to do for our family. I recommend her to all of my friends and family!

We found out we were being relocated to the area and quickly found Maggie (and her wonderful staff) here on Unilocal to help us find a home in the South Bay area. Right from the beginning Maggie spent quite a bit of time discussing what it was exactly we were looking for. She quickly set us up a MLS portal account account so we could virtually shop for homes, during this time Maggie updated our saved listings with thoughtful information. We contacted Maggie several times during this period to modify our search and direct us to additional neighborhoods. When we arrived in LA our number one priority was to find a home, Maggie blocked of several hours over consecutive days so that we could see every property on our list. Maggie negotiated well on our purchase price.
Maggie and her staff were extremely friendly, helpful and thoughtful throughout the entire process, We always felt more like a friend than a client. It’s now been a couple months since we closed on our home and Maggie is still there for us whenever we have a question or issue.
I hope we don’t have to purchase another home anytime soon, but if we do we’ll surely call Maggie first.

As first time home buyers, my husband and I had no idea where to start when it came to finding a real estate agent, so we figured if Unilocal had rarely led us astray with food choices, it might be a solid place to begin our search for someone to help us spend all the money we have in the world and then some. :)
In total, we interviewed four real estate agents. We met three in a row in person and had a phone call with Maggie later the same day. Even by phone Maggie blew the others out of the water and impressed us from the start. She is the perfect blend of patience, straight-​forwardness, honesty and kindness that assured us that we could ask all the stupid questions in the world and not feel embarrassed. In fact, she encouraged us to ask (and re-​ask) questions and never made us feel badly that we knew so little about real estate.
After about a month of hitting the open house circuit hard, too many chocolate chip cookies to mention, and a few emails about a property here and there (all of which Maggie helped us realized we only liked because of the staging — we’re such rookies!), we finally fell head over heels in love with a house in Westchester. We texted Maggie as soon as we stepped out of the house — we were literally still parked outside of the house — to see what she thought of it. As usual, she texted us back immediately and we were so happy when she agreed that we had found a gem. Maggie warned us though — first time home buyers rarely get the first house they put an offer in on, but this would be good practice for us. So, with that in mind, we started moving fast! She contacted the seller’s agent and by the next day, a Monday, Maggie had helped us figure out an offer that was not only competitive, but a number that we felt comfortable with. If you can believe it Unilocalers, that same evening the sellers and their agent called Maggie to give a verbal that they wanted to sell us the house. We signed with them and opened escrow the next day, a Tuesday, and that Friday had a slew of inspections on the house (Maggie pulled some strings to get her team of amazing vendors in ASAP). Escrow closed without incident, and all of a sudden — we are homeowners!
Now, settled into our new home, it is kind of crazy to think that so many things had to go right for us to buy our dream house and have the entire process be so, so smooth. But working with Maggie is what got us here — she helped build our confidence as home buyers to see and understand what we liked, what we didn’t like, what to look out for, things to ask ourselves that we would have never thought to ask. She held our hands through every step, every document, every question and concern and made us feel like her #1 clients. We are so grateful to Maggie (and her right-​hand woman Stefanie!) for everything they’ve done for us — if you can believe it, we look forward to years down the line going through this whole process again when we’re ready to upgrade! ;)

Where do we start? We are first time buyers and let’s just say finding the perfect home, lender or even a realtor may be one of the hardest things ever. My hubby found Maggie on Unilocal, and boy… were these reviews spot on and helpful.
Maggie and Gina took care of us since day 1 and through all of the bumpy roads during this closing. They still managed to pull it through and helped us through the tough storms with our lender and everything else that was interfering with our closing.
Maggie told us since DAY 1 that she didn’t recommend our leader due to his lack of communication and other reasons but let’s not get there. However, we didn’t want to redo the whole leader process again so we just stuck with him and let’s just say she was RIGHT! Using our lender was the biggest mistake ever!!! If she refers you to her Lender, PLEASE LISTEN TO HER. They are 100% honest with everything!!!
Gina Gina Gina, she was one amazing person, whatever homes we wanted to see, she was right there next to us to show us and tell us if she feels what she would think is best for us. After seeing Gina almost every day, we became close and I love them both!!! HOPEFULLY, they would love to babysit our kids one day? LOL
Sadly to say, we are going to miss talking and emailing them every day since they became more than our realtors but our friends. Best realtors hands down and I would recommend them to ANYBODY! I PROMISE you will NOT regret it.

Maggie was referred to us by our loan agent. it turns out they were both excellent. She set us up right away with a portal to her MLS site, which was better than zillow in some ways and she could share our notes and searches even.
over the next couple weeks she spent time to get to know our likes and desires and pointed us in directions to help us find a good fit. She was always timely and a great guide for us as first time home-​buyers.
we found and she helped us close on a house very quickly, warning us against common issues and giving insight to the property which we would have been clueless about.
she was a great partner and guide during this important process, and so thoughtful to what we were going through psychologically even.

Are you in the market to buy a home and are completely frazzled and overwhelmed by neighborhoods, options, processes, school districts, taxes and more? Do you wish you had a fairy god mother to guide you through all the confusion, find your dream home for you, AND double as Google for any and all of your future needs? Then Maggie is the person for you.
I was new (ish) to LA, a little under 1.5 years here after moving out west from NY and was in the market to buy a home but overwhelmed with where to even begin. I spoke with a couple of real estate agents through friend referrals, but was unimpressed with their response time, their market knowledge and general vibe. I took to Unilocal,found Maggie based on her stellar reviews, and a quick email (which she immediately responded to) and a phone call later, I knew she was the fairy godmother I was looking for. Below are the reasons why:
1) Maggie is super responsive. She is literally available 24÷7÷365 via email, text, phone all the time. No question too big or small, she is very attentive to all of your questions, and intuitively knows to dig deeper and ask questions to pinpoint answers and concerns you weren’t even fully aware that you had.
2) Maggie is super knowledgeable about real estate. She knows EVERYTHING about neighborhoods, homes and real estate. She has insider knowledge on who owned which property prior, which roads are busy vs not, when homes were renovated (even if it’s a tiny detail on when they had carpeting removed!), different property tax ranges by neighborhoods, and is practically psychic on home layouts without needing even step foot in the house. The list goes on and on and on. She literally knows everything.
3) Maggie is super patient. As a first time home buyer and a control freak, I naturally had no less than 9,340,291 questions about anything and everything. Maggie would always take the time to patiently explain everything to me, and not in mumbo jumbo jargon terms, but in ways that are super digestible and easy to understand, even for the newest of newbies to the homebuying process.
4) Maggie is super honest. She does not bullsh*t or beat around the bush. She will tell you like it is, from a very objective perspective. She is never pushy or rushes you, and is engaged and invested in talking through all of the potential situations, options and concerns to find the best, custom-​fit solution for you.
5) Maggie is a super resource. She has an answer or a contact for EVERYTHING. It literally got to the point during our home buying process where I would substitute Maggie for Google, and say to my husband, «let me Maggie that for you». No exaggeration, I have gotten everything from recommendations for dim sum in South Bay, to a house painter, to an accountant, to a car lease agent to a housekeeper, all from Maggie! Her results are legit stronger than your favorite search engine.
6) Maggie is super fast. Like me, she talks fast, she thinks fast, she types fast, she moves fast and she gets sh*t done. Because at the end of the day, we’re all very busy people right? And ain’t nobody got time for that…
7) Maggie is a super good person. Honestly, as a human, I simply want to surround myself with good people, and Maggie is definitely good peoples. Even though my house buying adventure ended more than 7 months ago, I don’t even think twice to hit up Maggie with any random questions I have (even today!), and I know that I will get an immediate, heartfelt and genuine response from her (which I did, within minutes of texting her!). She honestly cares for you not just as a client, but as a valued friend.
Based on all of the reasons above, Maggie is akin to a fairy god mother, and everyone needs one of those in their life! So if you’re looking for a stellar real estate agent, a caring friend and a Google replacement, then Maggie is the one for you!

This review is long overdue, but still worth mentioning!
One word to describe Maggie: Awesome! She and her assistant (Stephanie) are extremely great to work with. They helped me make my first home purchase in Torrance, at a good deal too! Maggie is extremely knowledgeable and always answered my questions quickly and in a comprehensive manner which is always appreciated.
When we were looking, the price of my house was out of my price point. However, right when the price lowered she quickly got on top of it, made an offer and secured it for me. It was like magic! She also made escrow process easy and straightforward. I made a slight error during the escrow process but she fixed it quickly.
Working with her definitely makes home buying stress free. Great communicator, tries her best to address her clients needs and was always there when I needed assistance (even months after the sale has been completed). If I purchase another home, I absolutely wouldnt hesitate to contact her again!

My hubby and I just bought our first home and we did it with a badass agent! I cannot say enough about how awesome Maggie is. She has a great team, who always communicated with us really quickly. Her assistant, Stefanie is on top of it! Maggie and her team always got back to us quickly. We were always emailing, texting, talking… it was great, and we learned a ton from Maggie through this process.
We did quite a bit of research before we landed on Maggie, and meeting her in person sealed the deal. She was exactly what we wanted in a realtor. Maggie is a no-​BS, straight shooter, who cares about her clients. Whenever we were together, it felt like I was just hanging out with a girlfriend. She kept it real, and I can’t say enough about how important that is during this process. She asked the tough questions, played devil’s advocate for us, and often reminded us when we were being unrealistic (which was often… hahaha).
We were living overseas when we began this process, about a year ago, and Maggie was always great to take our calls at odd hours, and answer our emails quickly. Working in different time zones was a challenge, but we made it work. As soon as we arrived in Cali, she made us feel welcome, and we immediately hit the ground running. We were all eager to get the ball rolling.
Maggie has won a bunch of awards for being a badass realtor, and it was evident throughout this whole process. We visited tons of open houses where the selling agents asked who we were working with. Most of them knew Maggie, and expressed that they love working with her. We were constantly receiving validation of her badass-​ness.
Maggie is the agent you want on your side when your buying or selling a house because she will fight for you. The South Bay market is really tough to maneuver for buyers. It’s filled with bidding wars, low inventory, and rising prices… sounds fun, right? Maggie put us at ease, and gave us a reality check when we needed it. We really love Maggie, and we became great friends through this process.
If you’re looking for a realtor to buy or sell in the South Bay, go with Maggie. We already did the research, and she’s the best.

Maggie helped us buy a 2BR condo in Pacific Palisades recently, and she was AMAZING. We really appreciated her level of professionalism and attention to detail in every aspect of the transaction. Maggie has a great instinct for the market and knows her stuff. She kept everything moving forward and called out issues that we didn’t know we even needed to think about. She was easy to contact and always available when we needed her opinion or just a quick answer. She proactively took care of getting inspections and securing homeowners insurance for us, knowing that we’d need them. Maggie and her assistant Stefanie make a really superb team — they’re very dependable, reliable and just great to work with!

Maggie is a true pro and a cool person to boot. She and her team helped me secure a ²⁄₂ condo in Culver City for a reasonable price (first time buying!) while I was working a full time big-​law job and could only meet up on the weekends and correspond via email (but somehow we made it work). She’s got great rapport with lenders and other maintenance folks – which makes the whole closing process (inspection, lending, pre-​approval) a breeze. She’s prompt, responsive, and I can tell she genuinely cares about her clients. Having shopped around and spoken with various other agents during the course of my home search process, I can confidently say that Maggie is a cut above the rest.
(Literal) Bottom line: Maggie knows the game well and is the person you want by your side during the otherwise daunting home-​buying (or exploring) process.

This is the first Unilocal review I’ve ever written, and I couldn’t be more motivated to do so.
I moved into my first home a couple weeks ago, a 4 br, 3.5 bath 2800 sq ft new construction home in North Redondo. My plan was initially to spend about 150−175% of what I paid to buy something similar in Hermosa/​Manhattan, but after many long chats, Maggie helped me to realize this was the best decision for me. What kind of agent tries to convince you to earn them significantly less money? I would say this was one of the first decisions Maggie helped me with, but nope. She and I started our dialog a year earlier and it continued regularly way before she had any clue whether it would amount to anything.
Yes Maggie is extremely knowledgeable, yes Maggie helped me find my dream home, yes she did everything that could ever be asked of a buyers agent. Pretty sure the previous 50 reviews above mine cover how great she is at all of that.
I love Maggie for so much more than that though. She’s one of the few people I’ve ever met who I can honestly say works harder than me. Although I know she gets more business than she could ever need, I always felt like her only client. Every call, every text, every email was always responded to thoroughly and usually instantly. I mean like seconds later, not minutes.
I would say 80% of what I have and continue to use Maggie as a resource for falls outside the scope of the role of a buyers agent. As a first time home buyer combined with being quite OCD, you can imagine how often I did and continue to rely on Maggie for everything, from a reference to an A/​V guy to a question about my home insurance policy, to simply some calming text about how everything is going to turn out great. And you know what, everything turned out perfectly. And I owe Maggie a great deal of the credit for that.
Finding success at around 18, the last decade of my life has consistently come with everyone trying to sell me everything. With people always being helpful only to disappear once a sale has been made (or when it wasn’t). Maggie was the opposite. She actually encouraged me to make decisions that would force her to invest more time in my deal many times. She worked even harder after her commission was ensured.
But most importantly, she’s simply a quality, ethical person. I don’t trust anyone ever; and I always, always felt 100% confident that our communication was between us alone. In an industry where everyone receives kickbacks for references, I know for a fact Maggie refuses to take them. She requires 1 thing from the names she gives out: Give me 0, give my client great work at a great price.
Last week I came home to a beautifully wrapped Nordstrom blanket. Of course it was from Maggie.
This was my first of what will be many home purchases. And Maggie has earned herself a client for life.

I cannot say enough great things about Maggie! We bought a home that was in the process of being built and had a very long waiting period from the time they started to the time it was completed. Maggie was there every step of the way. She also sold our home and did that in 3 days! I would and do recommend Maggie to anyone that I know who is buying or selling a home. We literally did not have to think about thing as she had everything covered. Whenever we had questions she was there anytime of the day or night! I feel like if you dont use Maggie you will be cheated out of a great experience.

Maggie is truly a wonderful person who is awesome at what she does! I was pretty nervous about selling my childhood home as it was my first time dealing with anything involving real estate and my parents are overseas. I was worried that selling the house would be difficult with them being international. On top of that, it was very emotional selling the house I grew up in, but she made the process as smooth as possible and really put me at ease. Maggie and I were in constant contact. She always kept my parents and me informed and made sure we understood all the details and logistics that went into the transaction.
Despite some exhausting and unforeseen obstacles that arose, she was there every step of the way to make sure things were streamlined and simple for me. She is very patient and mindful and knows exactly what she is doing. She even went above and beyond the call of duty in every possible way (sometimes feeling like a surrogate therapist in a sense with all the stress coming with the sale).
If I ever deal in real estate again, Maggie will be the first person I notify. I am seriously eternally grateful for this amazing woman! I cannot recommend her enough!

One word to describe Maggie Ding and her team: ABSOFREAKINGLUTELY AMAZING! Okay that was two words, but thats because she’s that amazing. My husband and I needed to sell our condo for various reasons, and Maggie was there to help us each step of the way. Quite honestly, our home sole in 10 days. She had three open houses for us in that span, answered every single email or call, was professional throughout the duration, and always was on our side and what was best for us. In the end, i would never go with anyone else. She is our realtor for life. When we do buy again, she is our girl. I know she will go to bat for us as her clients. AMAZING realtor, great person, no bs… she’s the SH*T!

Where should I start and what can I say in this review that hasn’t already been said? Maggie is absolutely a dear and she was so wonderful in helping two newbies in the real estate world. Any questions we had she answered quickly and thoroughly. She’s down to earth and practical and respects your wishes. She definitely exceeded all our expectations and really pushed to get everything through in 30 days. Because of her our home buying experience was as smooth as could be (other than the few bumps that none of us could do anything about).
We were ready to get into the real estate market and had been going to open houses just to set our expectations and for fun too. We knew we needed an agent that would put our interests first and be willing to answer all the questions we were bound to have on the way. Add to those a warm personality and a highly efficient do-​it-​now personality.
Maggie led us through the entire house buying process and was absolutely great in everything. She listened to our concerns, answered all our questions, suggested and gave advice whenever necessary but never unsolicited, and overall just an amazing person to be around who makes you feel comfortable. A very open and warm personality which is absolutely essential to easing the nerves from being in escrow. Everything was explained to us as things were happening lightning quick and she was almost always available when needed or would follow-​up asap.
We had one hiccup along the way that could’ve really stopped us from finalizing the loan in 30 days. The government shutdown happened right before we were in escrow and threw a wrench into a lot of processes. One being verifying that I am a US tax paying citizen. My husband’s verification came through just fine, mine languished for weeks and finally came through in the nick of time. Through this and other dodgy moments Maggie was on it to make sure everything was being done that could be done. Too bad she can’t do anything about the US government!
Really I can’t say enough good things about Maggie. Having her as our real estate agent was absolutely wonderful. She has a warmth to her that makes her feel like a long lost older sister.
