Heidi is very professional as well as personable. She is very creative and artistic which makes even better than expected photography. She is always prompt and delivers as promised. I would strongly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a wonderful photographer.

Heidi is amazing!!! She did my daughter’s headshots and I am over the moon with the photos. She is super sweet, engaging and fun. She is so talented and has a quick turn around time. She is wonderful and her photos are magical!!!

Heidi was a pleasure to work with. She was clear, upbeat, and cheerful in her correspondence and helped us by picking out appropriate outfit selections for our 21 month old son. She suggested a great venue and was flexible in scheduling. I was a bit nervous about how well an energetic toddler would do with pictures, but she was incredibly patient and seemed to truly enjoy working with him, catching him as he played. We all felt very comfortable with her and did not feel rushed. The resulting pictures were great! Highly recommend Heidi.

Working with Heidi was an absolute joy! She took photographs of my then-​6 month old son that still blow me away to this day! She is so incredibly patient (with both me and my baby!) and made us feel at ease. She got amazing shots that I don’t remember even happening. We got our proofs back in no time flat and she had fantastic advice on location, clothing, styling, etc. I can’t recommend her services enough and I can’t wait to work with her again!

Heidi is a true talent. She was so flexible in scheduling a family photo shoot for our family of 5, and she is fantastic with kids. Sometimes kids are a little apprehensive in front of the camera, but Heidi made it seem like she was an Aunt taking a walk on the beach with us, playing with the kids, asking them questions about their lives, and in this playful, conversational approach, captured the true spirit of our family in some great shots! She was very detail oriented in setting up our appointment, specifying where and when we should meet and following up to confirm the night before. She was able to quickly provide the images in just the format we needed, too! If you’re looking for a professional, talented, easy-​going, great with kiddos photographer whom is sure to deliver, definitely give Heidi Walter a call!

Heidi is amazing! She really understands kids! She can get that «money» shot that you are looking for! She is super patient and really spends the time with kids to make sure she gets great pics. I was super happy with my photos! I have used her several times and I would gladly recommend her to anyone wanting great shots of their kids/family/events…You will not be disappointed hiring Heidi!

I was extremely disappointed with Heidi Walter Photography. We were so excited to work with her as it seemed like over the phone we hit it off quite well, joking, and laughing. I have worked with other photographers in the past and feel as though you should genuinely like and have a good relationship with the person you are inviting to share such special memories with. Being new to the area we had to find someone to take family Christmas photos of our beautiful daughters first Christmas and Heidi seemed like she would do such a great job.
Things sort of fell apart when there were a series of unanswered emails, unreturned phone calls, and then finally just miscommunication that ended in Heidi being very unprofessional over the phone. I at first felt really bad, thought maybe I caught her at a bad time (she kept telling me how she was busy, driving and picking up her kids, at the pediatricians office, etc.) but then I thought well, we are all busy in our lives,(I happened to be at the pediatricians office too while she was telling me how hectic her day was), that doesn’t excuse the poor behavior that was exhibited.
In the end, I decided to cancel our shoot with her, because for one, it was 2 days before the shoot and there was still no confirmation of the time, location, etc. and two, with impending rain, I simply asked her if there was a contigency plan B, indoors, or reschedule and her response to me was «I can’t control the weather, I don’t know what you want me to do!». So, on that note, I thought better to politely cancel rather than have an uncomfortable awkward shoot. So, while I’m sure she does great work, I was not willing to pay for such unprofessionalism.

So AMAZING! Heidi is very personable and beyond talented. She truly listens and cares about her clients, while capturing gorgeous pictures of you and your family. Her approach really caters to whatever your needs are. I would recommend her to anyone in heartbeat!
