Chili’s Grill & Bar

Went in mid afternoon June 18. We wanted only desserts, ice cream.
We ordered and waited 15 – 20 minutes. for ICE CREAM, and one soup.
After the waitress dropped off our food, we never had her stop by again.
We saw her around the room, but she never ever stopped by to see how we were doing. OR with the check.
20 – 30 minutes after we finished, I asked another server to get the manager. We had small children and had to leave, and I asked if she’d get the check. Although indifferent, she did ring up the bill and give it to me. When I stated the problem, she said that she would «certainly speak to» the server. And maybe she will.
I have been to Chili’s many times, and many locations, but the service has never been this poor, nor the manager so indifferent.

I went to chills with my husband and daughter before the rush of Father’s Day. What a big disappointment the food was awful. The appetizer was so so we had the big mouth bites and the wings they were ok they changed the way they prepare the salmon the sauce is disgusting. Time to find another family restaurant !

I come here pretty frequently and I’ve never had the same server twice, yet every server has given me excellent service. Even when it’s crazy busy, all of the people go out of their way to take care of our table. Props to this location!

I don’t visit restaurant chains often, but I am a semi-​regular at this Chili’s location because of the consistent outstanding service, kind people, solid food taste, and overall good vibes. I couldn’t be happier with my experiences here. I frequently get coupons that I use at this location too! Always an amazing deal and a great night.

DO NOT order togo here unless you want to sit at the bar for an he… I placed an order and was told to come after 15 to 20 mins. I came in after 20 mins and I still waited over 45 mins. Not ever spending my money here

Amazing food and service –from moment we came in –sat right down –generous guacamole chips n Salsa –but the real surprise was the 2/​$ 20
Ancho Steak !!! With grilled Asparagus spears. Still licking my chops !! Lindsey our server was on point –Perfect night if only the Warriors won!

Not a fan of this location. We had to wait for the hostess who was just standing around talking, then we had to wait 10 minutes for our waitress to even come by, the cook messed up the cook on a steak twice (medium is not too hard to master, especially when you offer a color chart on the menu), our appetizers took forever to come out but the meal came out much quicker.
All in all, I would not go back to this location unless it’s for a margarita. People that came 20 – 30 minutes afterus got their appatizers and meals before us and left. Now that’s just ridiculous.

This was my first time eating at chilis… I know where have I been right lol. Well I must say for my first time have a really good experience. This was more of a spare of the moment type thing because we decided to just find somewhere to eat in the manhattan area. I must say I had a very good experience for this being my first time. Going on a Sunday happy hour is all day long, which I thought was really cool. I ordered one of there strongest drinks tequila special. I took it down like a champ lol and also there rib burrito. I must say there burrito was bomb. With all the sauces and blend it really was for-​feeling. Also they had some delicious appetizers so we tried the loaded wings and it was soooo cheesy I can still taste them right now lol. One thing was that they got my girls order wrong for her drink but she still drunk it and enjoyed. All in all this particular chilis wasn’t bad at all

Can we just say that I live for their Smothered chicken Burrito! Super yummy! I haven’t been here in a year and I have to say they have STEPPED UP their game! Everything here is good! Love their Trio Platter too!

Chilis has good patron strawberry margarita. They also changed their menu it’s more of an American Mexican restaurant now. Still pretty good!

Hard prior bad experiences with food to go, but thought we would give it one more try.
To the point, counter at take out register is always sticky and dirty.
Steaks were ordered well done, when I got home and cut them both were rare.
Fries and sides were just thrown in the containers and soggy from touching the other items,
The server there is the same one I had problems with before, nice guy but he should not be in the food business,
It seems like they give special service to the L.A. Bite orders and could careless about other customers, waited 20 minutes after the time my order was to be ready while they hurried an L.A. Bite order.
Last visit for sure, not worth the risk !!

Not coming back here.

Steven is the best bartender in Manhattan Beach he’s epic and always good for a convo or a solid drink. Plus the happy hour is awesome.

Yes, it is just a family restaurant style. But their menu has Benin updated since last time I visited. Variety and taste !! Price! I really enjoy drinking and eating here late at night after all restaurants closed at Manhattan Village mall. Blue Moon bear is must try item

Really the worst Chilis experience. The wait to order, between ordering and receiving dinner and for a drink was excessive.
Ordered the ½ rack baby back ribs and a dollar extra for the special onion rings. Four ribs and four onion rings. Waited long, left hungry.
Do not see us coming back.

I got the unlimited salad and soup with chips and salsa for 7 dollars during lunch. Get the house salad as its better. The chili soup was amazing as well.

Even considering that this is a Chili’s (got to be grade on a more lenient curve), we had a lackluster experience. Here’s what went wrong:
Our service was dismal. There was general confusion around how to pull up loyalty accounts on the iPad monitor that now sits on every tabletop. Our server promised us he would activate it on 5 occasions. It clearly didn’t work or we would have stopped repeatedly asking.
Our server didn’t know the happy hour menu. Said nachos were on the menu, so we ordered nachos. He returned to say nachos were not on the menu but eggrolls were, so we order eggrolls. He returns again and says eggrolls were not on the menu and tells us to use the unintuitive tabletop app to see what is on the happy hour menu. We figure out app and, sure enough, the app’s happy hour screen features a picture of eggrolls. Ha. We order eggrolls. I also celebrated my 100^th birthday.
Server did not put in our kid’s meal order first, even though we specifically requested he put that in immediately. Toddler was hungry and we continued playing a game of Clue re the HH menu. 2 items of the 3-​item kids meal went wrong. Server didn’t bring chocolate milk and brought oranges instead of corn on the cob. When the corn on the cob was finally brought out (he still forgot the chocolate milk), it was blazing hot. Had the order been put in immediately and the cob delivered with the rest of the kid’s meal, it would have had plenty of time to cool. Instead, our toddler didn’t eat his veggies but was staring at a Oreo molten lava cake.
‘I’m going to eat veggies instead of dessert,’ said NO KID EVER. :((
Despite the incompetence, I gave 2 stars: 1 star for the value of the kid’s meal and 1 star the happy hour menu (food options range from around $ 3 – 6). I’m hoping others have better experiences.
Kids meals are $ 5.39 and come with an entrée, a side and a drink. The entrée, side and drink options are actually surprisingly extensive and appealing. Entrée options include mac and cheese, grilled chicken breast, chicken nuggets, tempura fried chicken tenders, grilled cheese, corn dog, mini hamburgers, mini chicken burgers… Sides include broccoli, celery, carrots, corn kernels, corn on the cob, rice, mandarin oranges… Drinks include milk, chocolate milk, lemonade, soda… More options on menu, refer to app.

My family and I went to Chili’s last night and it was the best experience since we’ve been there. This is our local Chili’s so we do come here often, although I always complained to my husband about the service we get from sitting in the bar area, today was the best!
We walked in and was cheerfully greeted by the greeter. I was surprised she had that much energy at 8:45pm lol but perks to her!
We immediately sat in the bar area because it’s more convenient to us and almost time for happy hour! As we sat at TABLE 94 our server helped us out right away but we stalled a bit since happy hour starts at 9.
The drinks and food is ALWAYS great and we got the Texas cheese fries, honey chipotle crispers, 2 burger bites and fries, and a pizza kids meal.
Our server was very nice and attentive to us!
Great for kids as my son like to play games on the tablet (even the parents lol)
Parking is great especially since the CoCo’s shut down!
The place is always clean
The menu has a variety of items
I recommend this place and hope you get to experience great service as well

July birthday celebrants decided to have work lunch here. Their 2 for $ 20 are pretty good for the amount of food you get (one appetizer to share and 2 full entrées.) I got the ribs and my friend got the burger. We got the chips and salsa to share.
The meal was nothing special — you do get what you pay for. Nothing really stood out flavor-​wise.
I don’t go here often, but I remember liking their Caesar salad back in the day. I’m surprised they no longer have it on the menu.
Their happy hour menu is a deal, though! I might just come back here for that… stay tuned for an updated review…

Absolutely ATROCIOUS service! I am posting this right outside the restaurant in my car! I patiently waited for the waitress to bring me my soda and return to take my order FIFTEEN minutes later…
STILL no drink… NO taking my order. I should also add that she only had ONE table!!! I will NEVER EVER return to this poorly staffed restaurant with the LAZIEST server EVER! She was literally sitting at the bar resting her feet. Guess she forgot I was thirsty!
