Brooklyn Brick Oven Pizza

the pizza is decent but $ 28 for a large pizza?!? and $ 4 for delivery that does not even go to the delivery driver! It might be tasty but not worth $ 32 for sure! i can go to costco get a large pizza for $ 12 for everything!

Ordered a mushroom pizza and eggplant royale. Both left a lot to be desired. There was a handful of mushrooms and as much cheese on the pizza. Eggplant royale, nothing royale about it and I saw no eggplant. Just a lot of cheese and some spaghetti. We’ve eaten here at the restaurant before for pizza and salad. Both are better eaten there. We prefer Valentino’s for take out WAY more and it’s hot and fresh!

LOVE LOVE LOVE their hard root beer! (I recommend you try the hard root beer float. Yes, they have it and yes, it’s amazing. Yum!)

They have TV, great pizza, awesome beer selection, good atmosphere, honest family owned business… doesn’t get much better than that.

the dude who took my order was awesome. i always like when i can speak to someone over the phone and have fun. he was pleasant, helpful, and FUN. i placed an order for a bday party the day before. pizza’s arrived at the time i requested and they were DEEEEEEEEEELISH. i would def reco the pizza and the fun guy i spoke too who took my order (of course, i forget his name…)

I have been eating this pizza since I stumbled upon this location back in my freshmen year at Mira Costa HS down the street in 92! Hands down best kept secret for pizza in the South bay! Bobby knows how to make a great pie and he has had the same consistent crew for years and every time I order the sicilain pizza and someone new I’m with tries it they inquire about the pizza and how amazing it was! Good beer selection just a nice atmosphere to relax alone for lunch or enjoy with friends or family! Thanks Bobby! Keep up the great work!

Really very poor quality food. I had pizza and a sausage sub. The was horrible, old ground up meat with opinions and peppers that were diced up it was like someone put every thing in a blender. Gross… The pizza was not fresh in any way, taste like a grocery store product. The pizza is edible but I threw the sub away

Great pizza, service, BEER, staff and super clean! You instantly feel like friends here with recommendation and suggestions to fit any craving. Truly a hidden gem! Highly recommended! Definitely suggest the Root beer (actually beer 6% alcohol) — out of this world! Doesn’t hurt that their prices are also great.

Ordered the stuff crust pizza, not my favorite thing so I’ll probably try something else next time because of the other reviews.
Just a FYI the stuff crust pizza has the whole top of the pizza covered in crust. There were no images so we just went with it. It was a little crust overload, and bland. The sauce that came with kinda tasted like it was straight out of the can … Bummer next time try something else.

This is hands down the most delicious pizza around! Packed with flavor, the ingredients are really fresh. The crust is fabulous – fresh and tasty – not tough like many pizza shops. I have ordered from every place around here and these guys are the best at making fantastic pizza! Anybody can make a pizza, but making a pizza taste this great takes magic!

I’ve been searching for years to find a good pizza anywhere in South bay. The search is over. Comparatively, This may be the only good pizza in LA. The crust is fantastic. Just order from here and forget everywhere else.

Part of my disappointment is my fault, I figured a place calling themselves Brooklyn pizza would be good pizza, and thus raised my expectations (they are usually pretty low for pizza in L. A). I should have stuck with my low expectations. The pizza was soggy and if it didn’t have a hundred toppings it would have been uninspiring. We did delivery and they put the pizza on some wax paper for some reason and half the pizza was stuck to the paper, which caused the pizza to rip when removing a slice. I’m not sure of the reason for the wax paper. Not sure why people think this place is cheap either, $ 25 dollars for a mediuml pizza is not cheap in my book.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Had a few beers, pasta dishes & the gluten free pizza & it was all DELICIOUS! Met the family that owns it & runs it, all super cool with great customer service. Love to find these type of places when we are on vacation! We will definitely be back before we head back to Austin.

By far the best pizza restaurant I have had in Southbay. The marinara, mozzarella and thin NY style crust was phenomenal. Great beer selection too. Will definetly return.

Thanks Bob, Bob, and Brooklyn for great salad, pasta, pizza, and cannoli. All dishes are clearly made by hand and to order. Most importantly they are crafted with love! We felt like guests at our friends home and it was our fist visit ever! Also, we did not leave with a heavy, greasy feeling in our stomachs! Great food at a great price served by great people. You can’t beat a dad working with son and daughter.

I had heard about this place from many friends that live here that are from back east like me. Met Bob on Tuesday the owner. Super nice guy from Bensonhurst NY in Brooklyn.
The staff including his son were super nice and accommodating. They make everything fresh to order. The salad dressing takes me back to the flavors at home you can’t get here with fresh oregano, basil and thyme, making the salad very fresh and flavorful.
The pizzas themselves were cooked to order and nice and thin the way I like it. The sauce was sweet but not chunky or overpowering and the crust and cheese blend together perfectly. The only reason I’m not giving a five here is because the décor is old and dated, but this is a place that thrives on the food, not the décor, which is the way many of the pizza places back home are like so it’s not too surprising.
I’m eager to try their catering on the road as well. Should wow my friends and guests to be sure. Will definitely be back. Even Ray Romano stops by here when he’s in town and he’s pretty discriminating about food quality as well.

Since I can remember I’ve been coming to Brooklyn Brick Oven Pizza since I was a toddler. My dad is in love with Bob’s (owner) pizza so it’s no surprise that me and my sister jumped on board.
Always be prepared to be overly welcomed and taken care by the employees and if Bob is there, oh man, you know you came at the right time.
NOW if you’re looking for authentic flat out good New York Brooklyn pizza then this is the place. The pizza is always made with fresh dough and toppings and its cooked to perfection.
Brooklyn Brick Oven Pizza has never been a disappointment for me, my family and friends and it’s always our first choice when it comes to amazing pizza and good beer!

We came here with several teenagers looking for a place that could accommodate a group (9). The owner was super nice and I wanted to like the place but the pizza was poor and the plates were dirty. Plates were handed to the person at the end of the table in a stack, as were the plastic cups, no ice. Plates were dusty with black, chalky residue. Good beer selection, unfortunately served in a plastic cup of lesser quality than a red cup.
Pizza toppings slid off of every piece revealing what looked like a partially cooked, milky white, limp, thin crust. Not a good pizza by any measure. Toppings seemed fresh but all 3 large pizzas were not prepared or cooked well.
We came here based on the reviews here on Unilocal.I don’t know how anyone could rate the food or service above 2 stars. Maybe we caught them on a bad day.

Great place! Ryan is awesome. Great cheese calzone and pizza. They also have some really good beer. Yum yum yum. Come for lunch special I got a calzone plus a drink for $ 5.50. I stubled walking from work around the corner at cop a tan and decided to check it out glad I did! Ordering pizza for my roomates as I type this!!! Woo!

Staff was super friendly! The slices came out piping HOT and the cheese was melting every which way. The crust was crispy, crunchy, and I wanna say «buttery» but I know that’s not the right word… They also have a nice variety of beer, which is always a plus!
Yes, there’s a pizza buffet across the street but if you like NY style pizza, you gotta try this place! It’s not just a pizzeria claiming to be Brooklyn style/​NY style just because their pizza has thin crust, IT ACTUALLY IS BROOKLYN STYLE!

It’s not Pizzeria Mozza, but I come here once in awhile. The pizzas are cheap, and are very VERY similar to the pizzas you would buy in New York! There are tons of condiments you could add to your pizza, they have it all.
It’s never really too busy, the times I have been here. There are also tons of parking.
