Occasionally we order chilis because let’s face it, its a chain restaurant and you know what to expect. However, the last several visits were less then par and so ordinary and blah that we just wont be going back.

If I could have given a negative amount of stars I would have. This review is approximately a month later than the actual visit. Husband, kids, and I wanted to sit nearest to the bar to see the game. All in all we ended up spending about $ 100 bucks on some of the worst food we have had in a while. Bartender was by herself and waiting all tables. This was not her fault and my negative feedback has nothing to do with her, she was doing her best. Perhaps her GM or whomever was MOD should have been waiting tables to help. Most of my kids ordered chicken strips(a very well known dish in the restaurant) they arrived emaciated and burnt to the point where they were tough and could not be bitten off. I sent them back. They came back again in the same condition, this time delivered by a manager. My children tried to tough it out but couldn’t bite it off. I got the attention of the overrun bartender and asked if there were presets on the deep fryer for the chicken strips, she said yes and that the chicken shipment was horrible. First of all you pull the chicken up before the timer goes off due to the Utah burst size… But a good manager bites the bullet and says we cannot sell inferior product and 86’s the product. We didn’t request any freebies and we were charged for all of our meals full price. Yep I’m saying the magic word«I will not be back«so please don’t solicit me with a free meal.

Menu changes and food not as good anymore. Food came out cool not hot and taste was not there. Won’t be back until menu changes again. Very dissatisfied.

It was good. I’m not going to be running back to eat here but I definitely enjoyed my food though. At the end of the day it’s chilis. You get what you expect.

Consistently the best value on the NorthShore. I am a regular«luncher» and it has the best food and service you can find anywhere. Add Chelsea, Stacy and Sara to my «Best Bartender» list! I have never been disappointed with food, service or value at this popular Chili’s.

I dunno what it is about this place. It could be that they have 2for 1 drinks ALL the time or their specials, or the fact that it’s just 5 minutes from my house. But we visit here often, I’d say at least once a week sometimes more. Chips n salsa. 2 for 202 for 35 the food is good, prices are just right, and the drinks are good also. The wait staff is pretty good. Good managers usually walking around making sure everything is good with everyone. One of my favorite spots!

Went here when we only had 1 hour to grab something quick. Order simple, chicken crushers, fajitas without bell peppers and a quest. Wasn’t crowded at all, took almost 30 minutes for food to come out and then naturally the fajitas had bell peppers. Needless to say one person in the party left without eating anything.

This new thing Chili’s is pulling is great! Fast service, AWESOME menu with a wide variety of food for every craving. I don’t know if it’s this location especially, but I am just thoroughly impressed with this chain. Even the interior has updated to a cleaner and more modern feel. After getting up from a previous restaurant, and not having many options on a Sunday night, we opted for Chili’s. Boy, was that a good decision! Had a great meal, with great service! Also, the waiter mentioned that it is 2for1 on drafts most nights. Check it out!

Chili’s is my favorite restaurant! I’ve had a few times where I wasn’t happy with the service, but I’ve learned you can’t go wrong with Michael! Fast service with a smile!

Went out of protest. I was talked into fish taco’s by the waitress who said they were awesome. They were really bad. People just need to say no

Go here for the drinks, food and service is lacking. Got the ribs today and they where horrible! Overcooked, over seasoned, and fell to pieces, if I wasn’t so hungry I would have sent them back and left!

2 for 1 draft beer all day every day! Sam Adams, Blue Moon, Abita Amber, etc. Can’t go wrong there. I like this chili’s and have always been pleased with the food. Among my favs are the southwestern egg rolls, fried cheese and the sliders(I think they call them Big Mouths!) On my most recent visit I ordered the chicken fried steak and was surprised how good it was! I suggest giving it a try along with the corn on the cob and mashed potatoes for sides. Really good!

I’m liking Chili’s more as of late. I eat some seafood, no meat so my options were quite limited here. However, they’ve added a shrimp item(spicy shrimp) & allowed for some substitutions on meat dishes. I’m loving this & you add happy hour 2 for 1 beers, $ 20 for 2 people menu options = a happy camper :)

Today I wish we had sat in the bar. Service is started with a typical server scam, «presidente margaritas are on special, you get 3 in one instead of the regular 241». This is very similar to 341 at BBC on bourbon. It’s just a way to present it to make it seem like a deal. Instead of bringing our soup and salad, the server argues with another about closing duties and meanwhile we have empty drinks and an empty basket of chips. Personally, I don’t care who wipes my table or the one next to me. I can also hear people freaking out in the kitchen. There is a manager around, doing nothing about this«eye and ear of the guest«issue. 20 mins goes by and we still haven’t gotten our soup salad and sandwich. There are 6 tables in the restaurant at this point. I am now wishing we had sat in the bar. I ask another server to get mine. She replies, «She is on the phone, taking a to go order». I asked to speak to a manager at this point. Another 5 minutes go by before our food comes out. Then halfway through eating, the manager comes out, saying he should have gotten behnd the line to make our sou, salad and cold sandwhich. I guess we won’t be back again for a while.

I suppose I am a fan of Chili’s. not sure why. Yep, it’s a chain restaurant but something keeps drawing me back anyway. I wouldn’t say that there’s anything on their menu that totally blows me away. I always seem to head here when the kids are in the car and we can’t find somewhere new to go eat at. Or it could be that in Mandeville, Chili’s is one of the few places to stuff your face past 9pm. Anyway, they heave cheap appetizers. I am a fan of the bottomless chips and salsa. It keeps the kids quiet while waiting for our entrée’. Service has always been good. If it wasn’t I would not go back. Even during peak times, they seem to be on the ball. Wait times for a table can get long on the weekends. You can opt to seat yourself in the bar area to the right as you walk in. The only problem with that is service is on a first come, first served basis. What this really means is that you will wait there until a waiter or waitress notices you. Then you have to flag them down if you need anything once your food arrives. I tried this once for a weekday lunch and didn’t care for it. Burgers are not the best I ever had but they satisfy you. I’ve also had fajitas and steak here. All of which were delicious. Ironically, the chili here is a hit or miss. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. You take your chances when ordering.
