First time at varnished, I wanted to change it up. My roommate and I usually go to Wilfred’s in Nashua. The commute and wait time resulted us in exploring other places closer to home.
I really like varnished. The inside is pretty nice and has a really relaxing vibe. They book appointments and do walk ins. They offer a variety of drink options to those waiting. My barber was Isaias, he was great, fast and efficient. The wait time was probably 20 – 30 minutes if not shorter.
The cut included a wash which is great so I can go on with my day and not have hair everywhere. It’s a little pricey compared to Wilfred’s but the connivence to where I live and all the other amenities make this place worth visiting.

This is a true gentlemen’s home away from home. Brett and his staff make you feel at home the minute you walk in. Services include master haircuts, hot towel shaves and amazing massages with all services accompanied with a great scotch, whiskey or fine beer. Do yourself a favor and get varnished. You will thank yourself.
