Established in 1982.

Business opened in 1982 on Valley St., next to Luigi’s Pizza. After 30 years on Valley St. we had the opportunity to move to Bridge St. The new location is centrally located between I 93 and the Everett Turnpike. We think this new location will make finding us easier.

The gentleman that runs the place is nice enough. I bought a pump for my washer after diagnosing via youtube… When I took it apart, I saw the pump wasn’t the problem. I tried to return the pump since it had not been opened. There was a no return policy that I did not know about. In these days, returning items is just normal. When I go to the big box stores I buy more than I need and return what I don’t use. It saves trips to the store and gas to get there. I have no problem with a no returns policy, but it should be told when purchasing something– IMHO.

Twice In the past year my major appliances broke. First my clothes washer, then my dryer. Twice Google helped me diagnose the problem. Twice I found the parts I needed to repair my appliances at Manchester Appliance Parts.
Really nice folks. They have a huge inventory. The prices are better than I found online. Be aware, cash or local check only. No credit cards.

Our old washing machine broke. The agitator would not go around.
Before I knew it Dennis had it all apart and taken it all spread out on the kitchen counter top.
Well the good is that he knew what was wrong: Some little plastic pieces were worn out and needed replacing.
Unfortunately there was not a local appliance part store in Salem and we googled this Valley St. Appliance Parts up in Manchester.
We called on a Saturday morning and the lady working there knew just what we needed. I guess they sell a lot of them.
$ 10.00. Which seemed like a lot for some small pieces of plastic.
Well at least we have a working washing machine again.
