We’ve stayed here a number of times over the last two years since it is probably the only decent RV place in the area. Nice Easy Off Easy On the main road, 24, heading through Manchester. Pull in are easy. And they’ve converted the larger areas over to cement pads. The only downside is that, in the 4 – 5 times we’ve stayed here, I’ve only gotten one pad that was within our«auto level» range. other times, I’ve used a few boards under the back tires and sometimes, the old«to heck with it» approach. Price is close to $ 50 a night for large rigs. the place is laid out really well and they do do a lot for the children(movie nights, the pool is nice). They’ve been very helpful and friendly whenever we’ve had to interact with the office. The last time, we kept extending our stay and they were willing to work with us. The place is usually packed in the morning so a number of late nighters have rolled in over the night. Great area to walk the dog. They’ve added a number of cabins over the last two years. Go back: sure, since my family lives about 15 miles away.

The owners here did such a great job over the Bonnaroo week — I was very impressed. The owner was all over the camp every day making sure everyone was taken care of and issues that popped up were addressed right away. Great amenities, clean bathrooms and showers(I saw theem being cleaned every 2 – 3 hours), pool, great shuttle drivers(you go Kip and Jordan), a stretch limo to run you over to Walmart or the Waffle House(Yay Sami!) plenty of power outlets, clean grounds, nice office/shop. I highly recommend this KOA location.

This is a well maintained campground with gravel sites located directly off of the freeway. There are many attractions, shopping and dining options nearby, as well as a dog park, swimming pool and fishing pond right on the property. Only downfall is traffic noise.

Went there today to have my 20lb propane topped off. They wanted to charge 20 bucks to fill it even when I told them it wasn’t completely empty… still had a ¼ tank or more in it. Said its a flat fee no matter how much they put in it. Price gouger If you need to have your propane filled just go a quarter mile up the road. There’s an rv place that will only charge you for the amount you actually get…

Well taken care of campground. Gravel sites mainly. Level. Clean. Close to the interstate and hence a bit noisy. Plenty of shade. Park like setup. Definitely one of the better KOAs.

I don’t think its fair to give only one star based on over charging as another Unilocaler has, because this place does have some nice things to offer. But I also can’t give 5 stars either. The person who took my reservation over the phone had no sense of humor and was really quite unpleasant bordering on rude. Other people we encountered working here were nice though. There were many activities for kids and families which is really really great. There was a big screen movie(toy story), a mini golf(2 holes), a basketball court and a pond with fish. They also have a pool and little tiny water park but it’s too cold for that this trip. The trees are big and beautiful and mid October have started to change. The setting is beautiful… except…it’s too close to the highway. That’s the only reason we won’t be staying here again. We were as far back as you can be and we could hear the cars/trucks all night. Oh, and they charged $ 1.89 for a medium coffee.

We stayed there in April 2013. It was very soggy. The tent camping area was under water. The cost was $ 48. After hours, it is only $ 40. When I complained, I was told«people coming in after hours don’t have someone to guide them in and they can’t use the swimming pool». Beware of this.

Wonderful KOA. The nicest people I have met in a long time. Room for our large 5-wheel rig. Clean facilities, plenty to do with the little ones. Will be back again when we are in the area.

I stayed there in 2005 and 2006 for the Bonnaroo Music Festival because I was lucky enough to secure a reservation. No complaints whatsoever since we had lots of luxuries and we got to bypass traffic for cheap. I hope this place is still like this and is not taking advantage of people such as in Wil’s experience below.

Boo to this KOA for taking advantage of Bonnaroo concert goers by inflating rates for RV water and dumping use. I’ve been all over the country in my RV, I am a KOA member and I never paid more than $ 20 for use of their facilities as a non-guest. The Manchester KOA was charging a whopping $ 100 — stating that«Bonnaroo is expensive».

Our family camps out every Memorial Day, or packs out according to my 4 year old. We started using KOAs across the south. This year(o9) I picked the Manchester KOA, mainly because it had a hot tub and made for a good ride. Yea, thats the formula — find the KOA that is far away with a hot tub :-) This KOA was a delightful surprise. Bathrooms were scattered around the campsite and CLEAN — Koa bathrooms are normally clean but these went above and beyond in my opinion. They had SO much for kids to go it was crazy. A water park type area around the pool, large outside movies at night, outside bowling and carriage rides(non animal drawn I might add) There was a lake that featured catch and release fishing — I was not pleased with the idea but gave in and I have to admit, Jordyn had a blast. She caught several fish that were literally as long as her arm. Nothing like hotdog fed catfish LOL The staff was friendly and provided free ice cream every time we turned around. This KOA might have me reconsidering the no return rule for Memorial Day next year. There were several local attractions that we originally intended on checking out, made it to the Jack Daniels in Lynchburg, Tn(definate must see) and that is about it. I had a great time just hanging out, ok ok so I read and played with Jody most of the weekend… but still :-) Great trip, wonderful KOA
