History

Established in 2014.

John was taught photography while in high school in 1969 by his brother, an Army photographer with the 101^st Airborne. He has worked as a newspaper photographer at the Murfreesboro Daily News Journal in 1969 – 70 but went on to a 34 year career as a high school and college math teacher, university administrator, and educational technology consultant. During his career he remained an active freelance photographer. After retiring from education he followed his life long passion for photography by opening a small business in Manchester, TN.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

John has worked as a classroom math teacher, high school soccer and basketball coach, college math professor, university administrator, and educational technology consultant. He has presented papers and been the keynote speaker at national and international education conferences and is a published author.

John’s photography began in high school and continued in college. He has worked as a photographer at a daily newspaper and also as a freelance photographer. He has photographed many weddings over the years and now enjoys shooting digital images and post-​processing in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. In addition to paid work, John also offers pro bono photography services to non-​profit organizations such as the Tennessee Justice Center. He shoots local sports as a way to give back to the community.
