At first I wasn’t sure about this place, but I have grown to love it enough that every Sunday night we get Pizza here… sometimes wings. They have Gluten Free Pizza that is hard to find. The one thing I love is that they thank me for my patronage every time I go in there. Also many times they honor coupons that are current and don’t always make me give the coupon. I really like these guys.

Got subs tonight, they were awful, small store bought rolls and it looked more like steakums with cheese sauce than a cheesesteak, also smelled like onions even though none on the sub and the fries were more like greasy potatoes than French fries. Won’t be eating here again.

This is the place for stromboli. Excellent stromboli, my favorite in the area. But as I said in my other reviews, if you want the best pizza go to Parma’s. The Pizza Box has the best subs and side-orders. Jim & Nena’s has the best stromboli.

Had a pizza from Jim and Nena’s as we were moving into our new Manchester home. I stopped in for a menu on my way home from the post office and was told they didn’t have any. I thought that was a little weird but figured I could order a pizza without looking at a menu and did. I had high hopes since the sign outside said they won a «Best of York» vote or something like that. I guess my pizza preferences are very different from what other people in the area prefer. So I want to make clear, it wasn’t that the pizza was bad. It was a completely serviceable pizza with no major issues. That said, the crust was pretty thick and doughy. Having grown up in the NY metro area, my preference is for a thinner, foldable crust. Also, the pizza had a lot of oregano on it. So much that it had a sweet, herbal aroma to it and that’s not my preference. I think the sauce was a tad too sweet too, for me. My husband, having grown up in York, liked it more than I did. I’ll have to see if they’ve ordered new printed menus yet.

I saw a sign out in front of this place that said they were voted the best pizza in York County so I stopped for a slice. I’m not sure who voted them that designation but they won’t get my vote. I’ve had worse pizza in Manchester but this was not good. They don’t make their own rolls, so no reason to go back.

Great Pizza… loved the sauce. I didn’t try the subs yet, but the regulars were raving about them. For me, the pizza was great at a good price.

I was in the mood for a sub and my wife suggested Jim & Nena’s. I was basically hungy enough that I didn’t care where it came from except I was not really in the mood for Sheetz or Subway so she took a short drive and picked up a couple of subs — a cheesesteak with mushrooms for me and a tuna sub for her. I found the bread to be the best part, but everything was hot and tasted good. I don’t normally get pickles on my cheesesteak, but I think they put them on since she requested them on the tuna sub. The only complaint I have is the amount of mayonaise on the sub was a bit overboard. There was more mayo than cheese and the bottom of the roll separated since the oils permeated it. I liked the tuna sub, but the same thing applies. If you order anything with mayo you may want to ask for a minimal amount otherwise they might give you more than you expected.
