Bed Bath & Beyond

I really like Bed Bath & Beyond. I find myself trolling though here about once a quarter with my 20% Savings Coupon in tow. I break out the big 20% off your entire card when I move or buy for weddings.
Seriously, this place has a bit of everything. I find myself going there for a couple of items and invariably I look down at my cart and I have 10 things in it. This is one of those stores where you walk around the maze and just start loading your cart up with «stuff» that you think you need, but probably can get by without. Those damn coupons…
Clean, great layout, and always very friendly staff. I was going with a 3, but the staff and coupons pulled it to a 4.

Me: (after twenty minutes of wandering the store) Hello, manager. If you’re not busy might you please help me find something I can’t seem to find?
Manager: (Annoyed sigh. Eye roll.) What?
Me: I’m looking for silicone chocolate molds.
Manager: No, we don’t carry those.
Me: Is there any way you could order them?
Manager: (Second annoyed sigh… looks like she wants to go finish the human baby she started eating at lunch before she got called to the floor). Jus… Ima… huff. Alright. Follow me.
She goes to the computer and after fumbling for ten minutes like she’s never seen a keyboard before, types in candy mold. No results.
Manager: Nope. Later.
Me: Could you try Chocolate Mold.
She begrudgingly types it and multiple results come up.
Manager: I can ship them to your house but the shipping will cost as much as the molds.
Me: You can’t ship them here? Bed Bath and Beyond has shipped me things you didn’t carry without shipping cost before.
Manager: (thinking about all the douchey things she could be saying to other customers if I weren’t bothering her.) No. (Walks away)
Me: Well thanks for being patient with me. If I brought you an adorable kitten to burn alive next time would you be nicer to me?
Manager: (without even turning around) Make it a puppy, asshole.

Overall, a decent store with some of the friendliest sales staff I’ve ever met.
However, just know that if you buy something online for store pickup, they only hold it for two days… unlike ANY other store I’ve ever conducted online orders with. It should be stated a little more clearly as well.
That said, I ordered something from a friend’s bridal registry and arranged for pickup at the Manchester store rather than pay $ 12 shipping. I’m lucky that they still had the item in stock because, unbeknownst to me, my order had been canceled since I didn’t pick it up within the two day hold period. Just an FYI — read the fine print.
Luckily everything worked out. Also, the store is clean, selection is quite good, and location can’t be beat.

Great location. Selection is exceptional. It’s kept clean and neat. I’m one who buys specific things here (VUE cups for my Keurig) and the 20% coupons make a difference. And they’ll allow you to use them if you need to order online from the store.
Staff in this location has always been pleasant. They know how to keep lines moving and to help guests find merchandise quickly and easily.
I’d like to see what happens in this store when it’s busy… I usually go when it’s slow. But BB&B, you’re AOK with me!

I bought a Cuisinart DCC-​1200 a little over one year ago. It died unexpectedly! This unit had a three year warranty. Unfortunately, I did not have my receipt. Surprisingly BB&B replaced the unit with a new one with very few questions. I am amazed there are some stores that stand behind their product like this. Good luck getting service like that at Macy’s Home Stores.

Selection seems plentiful here. I went in for a teapot and found exactly what I was looking for.
Setup is cluttered but I believe its intentional because they want you to pick up random items along the way.
