Tazo Pizza Kabob & Gyro

I had a menu on my door, figured I’d give a local small business a try. I ordered chicken kabob, delivery. Food was not good at all; bland to say the least and came with stale pita bread. I was extremely disappointed and decided to give them a call. I asked to speak with a manager and politely expressed my opinion. Joseph became very defensive and told me that my standards were too high. In hopes to try Tazo again, I asked what they specialized in… I’d give that a try next time. He asked if I read the menu, I of course told him that I had and would be willing to give them another try ordering their ‘known for’ item next time. Joseph told me they don’t specialize in anything and that he had received rave reviews from other customers, I was the first person to not be satisfied. Maybe I should have read the Unilocal reviews before my order, maybe Joseph should take a look at these too. It probably would help his business grow. Poor food and poor customer service skills.

Meh. Nothing here remotely interesting. Got a gyro and it was bland. I will not be back.

Received a menu from this place, so decided to give it a shot today. I ordered an Italian sub (no cheese) and I was extremely disappointed. I’ll upload a photo, as it was basically tomatoes, onions, banana peppers, and a few slices of pepperoni. No lettuce? No other meats? No Italian dressing? Won’t be ordering from here again.

THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER, EVER, EVER RECEIVED!!! I decided to give this place a shot becuse we wanted something besides pizza or chinese. So I placed my order. Upon placing my order I wanted to use the coupon that was in the menu and was told that they no longer accept them. (Although there was no expiration date on them) So not a big deal, I placed my order anyways. I was told that it would be between 30 – 45 minutes for my food to arrive. An hour passed by and I called to check on it. The MANAGER told me that he was a minute away which was a lie. I waited another 10 minutes and called back again. While on the phone the MANAGER told me to hold on while he called the driver. I could hear him yelling in his language while i was on hold for another 3 – 4 minutes. I hung up and called again to cancel my order because an hour and a half is too long to wait and at this point i was very frustrated and so was my family. The MANAGER picked up the phone and I told him i wanted to cancel the order and he said i couldn’t because the driver was almost there. And he proceeded to hang up on me!!! I called right back and another fellow picked up the phone, I asked to speak to the manager and told him I wanted a refund and after arguing he agreed. The second i got off the phone my doorbell rung and it was the delivery guy. I apologized and told him we just spoke to his manager telling him we canceled the order. WAIT IT GETS BETTER!!! The MANAGER calls me back and tells me he refunded my money and in a strict tone he tells me NEVER TO CALL AGAIN BECAUSE HE WILL NOT PROVIDE ME SERVICE! I told him, don’t take so long and hung up on him as he continued to give me attitude.
I DON’T KNOW HOW THIS MANAGER IS A MANAGER AT ALL! NEVER HAVE I HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH SOMETHING LIKE THIS AND I AM GOING TO MAKE SURE OTHERS DON’T HAVE TO.

Well I’m updating my review based on 2^nd experience tonight. The pizza is delicious, I won’t lie, but again, unimpressed by staff. My lovely hubby called to place an order tonight… after all they have coupons on their website… only to be told that «only the woodbridge location does specials and coupons» … hubby ordered anyway but I would have slammed down the phone. NEVER getting my business again… 24 and change for two medium pizzas… nah, I’ll stick with Adam’s.

You’ve got one person who wants a sub, another that wants pizza, and another that wants the meaty goodness of kabobs. And you wanted it all delivered. You don’t find many places that offer them all, but Tazo has you covered. The wife and I ordered delivery from here last weekend and we were generally happy with the food. She ordered a steak and cheese and it was OK, although we prefer Mega Sub for steak and cheese. I was hungry and ordered a falafel and gyro. The gyro was really good — the falafel was OK, but a bit on the try side. I’ve had better — but a little tabouli from the fridge provided the missing element.
Another bonus is that they have a fried mushroom appetizer — something every pizza delivery place should have, but few do. They were good, but missing a dipping sauce. (Typically, ranch dressing is served with them) The delivery service was fast and efficient — they said 45 minutes but were there in like 20 – 25 minutes, and the driver was professional. They have their own uniforms, which to me is a sign that they are not «cheaping out» on developing their business.
Overall, Tazo was good enough to get into our delivery rotation, but didn’t have the «wow factor» to become a go to. I’ll give their kabobs a try and see if they can earn an extra star.

My first encounter here was horrible. I spoke to the manager and expressed my concerns, i thought i would never order again them today called tazo. i order two pizzas wings and breadsticks. then i also remembered y my last order was not so good the kabob. I also remember my talk with the manager and his offer for a free kabob if i ordered again so i took the kabob today he remembered. People the food is amazing the kabob was fresh light on the stomach and complimented by a frsh salad and tomatos mix fresh cut tomato!, just great for dinner. Pizza yummy, there is magic on the crust its too die for. The wings mouth watering… the breafsticks too much garlic! Over all amazing definet improvement., great servive fresh yummy food fast

Finally got a chance to try this new pizza place that recently opened in Manassas. I ordered the garlic spinach Stromboli for take out. The inside of the restaurant is spacious with much more room than most of the local pizza places in Manassas such as vocelli and paisanos. The food smell inside was very overpowering but smelled really really good. There is also a large screen tv in the seating area. Now to the real meat of the matter, how was the food? The Stromboli was just ok. It was very greasy, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but there was way too much spinach and not enough feta cheese. I’ll probably go back again since the service was good and the food wasn’t terrible. I’ll definitely order something different next time though.

You get pizza, kabobs, pits, wings and cheese steacks… yes it stacks.
When I pointed out to the lady at the counter the error in spelling, she
just smiled.
I had the gyro on pita, quite good.
I find it interesting that the ‘culture motiff’ they tout with wall art, is french?

Very good pizza. Delivery is quick. Lamb Kebab was a but over done. The dining room is very clean. I just don’t get the sulking man who sits there every day … LoL. He must be one of the owners. He just looks like he takes himself too seriously. Anyway, definitely should check Tazo out, as the prices are fairly reasonable.
