These guys are awesome. Just got my AC and furnace replaced and I had a great experience today with Chris and Jason. The owner Randy takes customer service very seriously so if you get work done and he asks you how it went be honest. He’s great and will help you with questions and concerns. I needed electrical work done too and he referred me to Beacon which also has an owner who cares about his customers. This really isn’t your typical company. Randy came himself today to help me with a question about my water heater also. Thank you Home Service Doctors! I am so glad you appreciate my business and care about helping me and my family. I will refer you whenever I can.

We called the company on a hot Sunday morning as our AC stopped cooling the previous night. The residual cool temperature was going up since it was in the 90s outside. Maurice came in that afternoon and replaced the capacitor. And we felt so relieved. He gave my wife and I an extensive explanation and recommendation regarding our HVAC system. Thanks a lot to Maurice and to the entire team for speedy and great service on a hot Sunday!

I’ve used the Plumberologist a few over the last 6 years. My first dealing with them was when I needed my hot water heater replaced in my Condo. Since the hot water heater was under warranty, the manufacturer referred me to them since they could get the replacement at no cost and just charge labor. My first experience with them went pretty bad, their labor charge was very high, but if I signed up for their yearly maintenance plan, the price would drop slightly. When I argued about the price, their owners comment to me was «Try to find someone who works with AO Smith who will do it cheaper.» Needless to say we were in a rush to get the hot water heater fixed so we paid them to do the job.
Not even a year later we ended up buying a TH and moving. We still had the maintenance contract with The Plumberologist and we had them do an inspection. They found a few small items, but it seems they never wrote them up and they were forced to send another plumber for another inspection.
In late 2015 the upstairs guest bathroom tub started being used, we had another plumbing company come out for an inspection that year and were told they handle had been installed upside down (which is why we only got hot or cold never warm water. (how did the Plumberologist miss this originally?) Anyways we called the Plumberologist to come out to give us a quote. Much to our surprise the plumber they sent actually fixed the issue for us for free. (reversed the water stem). We were pretty happy and figured they had gotten better.
Then in late December we noticed a leak in our living room on the ceiling. We called the Plumberologist to come look at it. They didn’t see anything with their visual inspection so they wanted to cut a hole in the ceiling to take a closer look. This cost us $ 377 (if we signed up for their maintenance plan again or $ 443 without it. Since we didn’t want it to get worse, we let them cut the hole. Unfortunately, they couldn’t find any leaks. So now we were stuck with a $ 377 hole in the ceiling plus an additional $ 200+ to find a dry wall company to repair the ceiling.
In March we decided we needed to get a new HVAC System and we had recently seen they started doing HVAC work, so we had them come out to give us a quote. Out of the 6 quotes we got they were by far the most expensive. They also provided the least details of all the companies.
The final straw though with them was in February when they reached out to me and said we were due for a plumbing inspection. First we had difficultly scheduling as the plumber showed up when I clearly told them no one would be home. When he did finally manage to come it was probably the worst plumbing inspection ever. They didn’t take any notes and barely looked at anything. At the end I had to remind the plumber of how many toilets he had looked at and 1 item I had mentioned to him. When I received the email with the quotes to replace the toilet shutoff valves and the leaking tub, everything was completely wrong. 1 Quote had 2 Stop Values (?) at the cost of $ 391. The second quote had a Tub handle rebuild at the cost of $ 469 (this was with the member discount).
When I contacted them and told them the plumbing inspection was subpar and the quotes were ridiculous and that I wanted to cancel my service plan, I was told the service manager would call me. I did receive a call from someone but he just kept saying how good their prices were and by keeping my contract I had a lifetime guarantee. (Wow, lifetime guarantee on the hole in my ceiling). He then said he would call back in a few days after I discussed it more with my wife, surprise he never did. I ended up canceling my contract with them which required 3 unanswered emails and 1 phone call to confirm it was canceled.
The reason they didn’t get 1 star was for when their plumber solved our bathtub/​shower issue at no cost.

Justin W. at Plumberologist is AMAZING! He came out to our office and fixed my sink at NO CHARGE! Since it was a «quick job» he said that he couldn’t charge me. However, I am still amazed! In the past we used this company to replace a toilet and were incredibly happy! Don’t hesitate to call them! They were quick to schedule and awesome to work with!

I was able to get an appointment quickly. Robby was helpful in diagnosing the issue with my HVAC quickly. He also recommended another service for my AC as a preventative measure. Robby also suggested how I could save money in the long run with my unit.

Justin W. was great! Very helpful and upfront with the cause of our problem and with the costs associated with repairs. Ultimately, we chose to defer service on our toilets, but would recommend Plumberologist (particularly Justin) for their professionalism and efficiency.

Contacted Plumberologist through Unilocal and spoke with Kelly, who scheduled same-​day service.
David, an extremely handsome and charismatic gentleman, showed up on time and was sensationally courteous upon arriving.
He quickly diagnosed the clogged-​up sink and gave me several options on how to fix the issue. The price for the fix was cheaper than other competitors.
He was thorough and explained what he was doing the entire time. After the sink was unclogged, he recommended several preventative measures to avoid the issue in the future.
I have another plumbing issue (frozen hose pipe) that I need to have fixed in the near future. After my experience with Plumberologist and the expertise and skill demonstrated by David, I have no reservations about contacting them. Great company!

Jason Richard has to be one of the nicest people in the industry. Very trustworthy, honest, nice, and knows his stuff.
He and his team have been a huge help for my family and I and I would highly recommend them for any plumbing project you have.

The plumber was on time, pleasant and assessed the situation correctly. My big problem is that after replacing a piece of copper pipe less than a foot outside of the house we were shocked to see the bill for $ 470!!! We were not given an estimate before the work which is what they say the do.
*Update…The owner called to say that the plumber did not give us an estimate before doing the work which was against advertised policy. We told him had we known it would be so expensive we would not have chosen to have the work done. The owner was apologetic and we were able to come to an agreement.

Jason Richard was great! He checked and fixed a leaky valve. He explained some things about my valves and water heater that I didn’t know. He was highly professional and took time to answer my questions. Great company and look forward to doing my plumbing needs through them in the future.

Good service but it is extremely expensive. I have my wall leak done for a small corner at the basement for 600 bucks. Yep. 600 bucks for a 1 hour or so of service. May be because it is the weekend or some sort… idk. I thought the charge would also count for the wall damage that they would fix but no, just for the water leak fixed. I was in need of getting the wall leak fixed so I decided to go with the price. So if you are okay with good service but for high price, this is a fine company. The work is nicely done, the plumber accidentally broke one of my pipe while working but he fixed that for no charge.

We recently had a new HVAC system installed at our home. After multiple estimates and options, we went with the Home Service Doctors. Maurice was excellent to work with, professional and trustworthy. Also, he was clearly an expert in the field and demonstrated follow-​thru with each question and request. Each time we needed to meet with Maurice and the team, they were timely, courteous, and professional. The install went smoothly, thoroughly installing each component while explaining the process. The house was also well prepped to minimize impact to the house. In addition, the office staff was incredibly kind and patient — always available to answer questions and assist with planning and prep. With all this said — they also gave us the best estimate. I highly recommend them.

Plumberologist is simply the best in this area. My previous experiences with other companies has let me down, but NOT with Plumberologist. The team is professional, courteous, educated and reliable. Justin was our «Dr. of Plumberology» this time and he was truly professional and trustworthy. Yes, you guys are expensive, but you get what you pay for AND you stand behind your work. When others are going through the motions your team is on top of the situation and gets it done right the first time. Thank you!

I had a great experience with Terry M. He was very professional, courteous, and friendly. I needed to get a shower faucet fixed or replaced and he explained all my options very well and was patient in explaining everything he was doing throughout the whole process. I would do business with this company again.

I’ll keep this short and sweet. Mike S. replaced my toilet today and I’m a happy customer.
I contacted about 8 plumbers and Plumberologist was quick to respond and available the same day. They wouldn’t give me a ballpark estimate without a (free) inspection. Jennifer arranged everything and Mike came out to provide an estimate. I was a little shocked by the price because it was so much higher than any other estimate I received. However, they worked with me on the price, and I really just wanted to get it over with.
After seeing all the work Mike had to do, I feel the price was fair. There were mop strings and all kinds of craziness in the pipe which he removed. Plus he helped me move the toilet I bought (so heavy!) from my car to my unit and made several trips up and down a high-​rise building to get tools and parts to repair cracks in the flange that were discovered. He was so nice about it all. Plus he’s easy to talk to so that doesn’t hurt. :)
I would definitely recommend Plumberologist to a friend. Maybe they’re pricier than other places but they were friendly, fast, and seemed to know what they were doing. Thanks for making my day, Mike and Jennifer!
P. S. — Oh, something I loved was that they send you a picture of the technician before they arrive. I think this is great, especially from a female perspective (but really for anyone, for safety.).

So fast, efficient, and professional! I highly recommend this company (especially Justin Wilder!)!

Not going to say I am a fan, but I’m not dissatisfied either. Seems to me that plumbers pull a magic number out of the air to charge. The technician replaced a couple of valves as he said would occur. So far no leaks have returned.
May I suggest one thing though? When giving customers a receipt for services performed, it would be nice to have it itemized into Labor and cost of parts.

Admittedly I originally posted a negative star on Unilocal because of my bad experience with the folks who answer their phones after hours. However, after reading my bad review on Unilocal,I immediately received a phone call from Randy (the owner) who explained the mix up. Thank you Randy.
The tech (Matt) arrived and immediately started diagnosing the possible leak that was coming from my kitchen ceiling. It wasn’t an easy diagnosis because it wasn’t clear where the leak was coming from. Come to find out it was coming from a minute crack in the tile in my master bedroom upstairs. I appreciated Matt’s professionalism and his breadth of technical knowledge. He took the time to explain his diagnosis. He also confirmed and double checked his diagnosis — I definitely liked that. I also liked that he was conscientious about keeping the area clean where he was going to do work. He wore booties, put down drop cloths, and made sure that I did minimum to zero cleaning after he left. He was at my house diagnosing the leak for about 3 – 4 hours.
Did I become a member? Yes, it’s worthwhile in the long run and especially since I received immediate savings just by becoming a member that day. Matt’s an excellent frontman for Plumberologist and I will absolutely contact this company again. Five stars all the way!
