Planet Auto Wash

I’ve been here a few times over the past 6 months, and I’m mostly happy with the service. I try to go when it isn’t too busy, so that doesn’t cloud my judgment. I work from home, so I have that luxury. I like the different options for wash packages, although I’ve only tried a couple of them so far. I did upgrade to a detail one day, and it was pretty good; I mean, considering the price paid. I didn’t pay for a $ 100 detail. I like being able to get a decent cleaning inside and out for a reasonable price, so this works for me. The facilities appear well maintained. There can be a little disorganization when it is busy, as the car lines come from various directions. This is why I try to go when it isn’t as busy, as I said earlier. In the end, it isn’t a mindblowing car wash, but it gives me exactly what I want for the price paid.

Really nice people, and my car always looks great when I leave. Definitely not going to stray away from this place.

Car is clean and detailed, BUT… waited for two hours even though I had an appointment. AND apparently another customer must be wondering where one of their vehicle floor mats are right about now. That’s because one of the detailers placed it in my vehicle on top of my other floor mat. So they HAD to know that it didn’t belong to me, because there was no place for it… and it’s a different color. Overall, I’m not coming back to this place. I can forgive this if it was one bad visit of multiple good or decent visits, but not the very FIRST visit.

Came a week ago to get hubby’s truck washed. They did an awesome job! Very fast, friendly and reasonable. We will be coming back.

My Friend, Manager: Enrique, had my car washed over in His Car washing business for the holiday coming up Thanksgiving so I can show it off, and I really appreciate Planet Auto Wash/​and all the crew and hard working Employees!!! They did an awesome job. The day before I had my Huskies in the back, and with Huskies there’s a lot of hair! So it went there all hairy and came out like a new car again. So Planet Auto Wash is a great place to get your car washed! They even cleaned the windows, so shiny now & Clear. Clean Inside and Outside & make it smell good. 100% A+.

They take forever and don’t do a thorough job. Horrible job at cleaning floor mats. They actually were in worse shape after they cleaned them. Last time I went they kept my rear floor mat. I didn’t realize it until I got home. Total inconvenience in the long run. The manager has no concept of customer service. Complained once and got a «so called» lecture about my attitude. There is way too much competition in this area with this business model for poor customer service.

Always a great experience when I’m back home this is the go to place to get your car detailed/​washed great prices and it’s fast always a pleasure doing business with them

Went here Sunday, got the super planet wash $ 35, they were busy but the employees seemed to still have fun with their job. One guy was dancing while cleaning, they just seemed happy, which is good.
When I got in my car and drove away I started noticing things like my windshield was streaky and still had spots from bugs on it. Crevices in my car were still dirty, but I should have checked it all before I left in the first place.
Also, upon going in I asked if they could clean the rim of my windows where it gets the caked on dirt. He told me they could but it would just come back again. I said that’s fine just could you please do it for me. Realized driving away it wasn’t done. Overall was disappointed with this trip.

One of my favorite carwashes and I drive around the entire Northern Virginia area weekly for work and have been to many.
I always make it a point to stop in here whenever I’m in the area as these guys never disappoint. They go the extra mile and really give you a great car wash for the price, which is more than I can say about most of the carwashes in Northern Virginia.

Without a doubt the worst car wash I have ever received there. It must be under new ownership in or no management team on site today. I paid $ 35 for a car wash and I overpaid by at least $ 34. I literally got tired of showing them spots they missed. Now that I’m driving down the road I can see they didn’t even clean the outside of the windshield.

Mixed experience here. The line is long so that way I know the car is good, but I paid $ 14 for alright service. They do a nice power wash of the wheels, so that is a plus, and the exterior one is a good job. I think if I go back next time I will have them do the whole car, because I felt like the exterior job was sort of bland, but my car was very muddy and I needed something to help resolve the problem. They did that quite well.
The place on Liberia Ave. I thought did a much more thorough job with the car, though the idea of leaving my keys in the car without my supervision was a bit unsettling there. Still, both places do a nice job, and could really go to both places to get a nice rinse on my vehicle.

This is absolutely the best car wash I have been to. I went there recently to get a car wash and to get the full interior of the car cleaned. Car was messy because of all the salt and sand on the roads. Long story short the finished product is amazing. You wait just about 5 to 6 minutes in a very nice waiting area and they thoroughly, and I mean thoroughly, clean your car inside and out. Wonderful finished product for an excellent price. I 100% recommend them.

This is the only car wash I would take my car to in manassas. Their machines have never scratched the paint on any of my cars, their facility seems well-​maintained and always clean. I like how much effort they put into cleaning my cars’ interior and windows. I’m very picky about having a clear windshield and a clean carpet. This place seems to be the only car wash to get the job done.

Always get my car washed there, I like that its mostly on conveyer belts so it’s very efficient and doesn’t get backed up. I always get the 25 dollar wash (I forget what they call it moon? Star?) My car is pretty much spotless, it comes with a wipe down of the interior and a vacuum which is really why I go there. I did try to use the discount from Unilocal but they need it printed. Oh well been happy the 3 times I’ve been there.

So far I’m impressed, very thorough water pressure rinse off by the guys before you even drive onto the carwash conveyor belt, (that’s right no metal rails that can damage your rims) and of course a nice water blast to each wheel to remove all that pesky brake dust. Soft brush clean, high pressure air dry, and all the systems and soaps and water pipes actually work! (I wash my car enough to tell when their plumbing ain’t working) lol
When you come out of the wash, you pull up to a completely enclosed area where they start hand drying and interior cleanup of your metal child. The cars are driven on to another slowly moving conveyor belt in here and I have to say I am amazed over the cleanliness and organization of this particular area! Wow! All the cars going through get equal and proper attention to detail… I see my baby sparkling in all her orange glory already! Don’t forget to use your Unilocal checkin for 20%, worth it if you’re a first-​timer here.
The waiting area is spacious and again very clean, the viewing area is easily accessed and gives you unobstructed viewing of their professional workmanship. They didn’t get all the water spots off my hood, but they are pretty stuck on I guess from tree pollen so they recommended wax and clay ($ 95)… Maybe I’ll come back another day for that.

Pretty good experience on my first visit to Planet Auto Wash. I guess I got the good crew that day because, despite there being a decent-​sized line, I was very happy with the end result. I only do the basic wash to my car, not the fancy wax/​Rain-​X craziness, and added an interior clean. I believe they call that the «Moon Wash» (insert joke here) and it cost $ 13.
The exterior was portion is like a plus-​version of your standard gas station wash. A staff member starts with a high-​pressure pre-​rinse, and then you drive into the was yourself, where you are pushed along a conveyor belt to the end. If you are doing exterior only then that’s it, drive it home. If you are doing the interior, you make a sharp left to the next station, where someone will take the car, put it onto another belt while you go inside wand watch them do the interior.
The exterior wash is a bit better than the standard gas station wash, and only $ 1 – 2 more. The team did a pretty good job on my interior. Granted, my carpet wasn’t bad, but they did shake my mats clean and they got the dash and windows pretty good. Not perfect, but not the huge misses or window streaks others mention.
Despite the line I was in and out of here in about 20 minutes. Overall, I was happy enough with the service that I’d recommend them and use them again.

This was my first time going to such a car wash where you sit in, ride through, get out, get ur dunn! For a newbie the staff was very friendly in stepping me through the process. I actually had a 20% off Unilocal coupon (which took $ 5 off), and I got the Planet Wash. Afterwards my car looked great! everything from the exterior, to interior vacuumed/​cleaned. My only minor complaints are that for the exterior dirt/​dust spots that the soft cloths didn’t wash off during the ride-​through, those weren’t manually wiped down. Also the window cleaning was smeared a bit, and I could see it once I was out in the direct sunlight. For a quick, good job of overall exterior/​interior cleaning I’d definitely return.
NOTE: they’re not going to remove any serious stains/​spots with the ride-​through, hand dry option. They assured me their deep detailing would get my vehicle spotless inside/​out, but I haven’t tried this yet.

The key to avoid the lines is to get there before 10am; if not… you’re screwed.
I paid $ 25.00 for the super duper (or whatever it’s called) wash. Rolled on through the wash, jumped out and had a seat inside while the team worked on the interior. It took about 15 minutes or so.
The outside of the car looked pretty good with the exception of a 12×12″ space on the back bumper. I drive a black car, so I’ll forgive them. The inside was «cleaned at»… not cleaned. The dashboard had a few clean streaks through it, but overall was still covered in dust in the corners. The clock and screen on the dash were still covered in dust. They vacuumed, but the corners and the sides by the seat hadn’t been touched. The back area under the back glass was still covered in dust, and the seats were not vacuumed. I pulled up online to make sure this stuff should have been done at the tune of $ 25.00, it should have been.
I had my choice of sent… I went with vanilla, so at least it smelled pretty.
I pretty much got a $ 5.00 gas station wash with a hint of vacuuming. Not all that pleased with the waste of money.
I’ll try down the street and compare the two.

Get clean at Planet Auto Wash.
I’ve never seen so many car wash places in one city as Manassas.
Is that way they call it Manasty?
There are even places to wash your dog and your motorcycle.
On a day like Sat, it pays off though.
My usual wash place was packed and stacked.
I gave the place a try and was quite pleased.
It’s a quick in and out and they do an especially good job
on the post wash.
Very thorough clean inside and towel dry.
