Staff was friendly and understood my needs. I felt the staff was concerned about our problem and wanted to ensure it was promptly resolved. We will continue with our service agreement for all three areas.

On time and technician was very informative.

My AC stopped working on Monday night. I called Parrish Tuesday morning, had a technician at my house by 1pm and the AC back up and running by 3pm. Costs were reasonable. But every interaction with the company was first-​class, from the operator who took my initial call and was extremely friendly and empathic, to the technician who arrived and serviced my unit. I’ve used Parrish several times in the past, and my most recent experience is on par with every previous interaction. I highly recommend their services.

Parrish Services proved to me why they are considered to be among the very best home services companies in the region. I’ve had a vexing recurring issue with a GFCI outlet tripping intermittedly especially during rainy weather. It took a few visits to eliminate the problems but Parrish and their electrician Chris stayed with it until problem solved. They were fair about pricing as well.
The office staff and dispatch team are pleasant and helpful. Overall a very good service experience.

Parrish services has excellent customer service. Tech, Robert has assisted several times and is always helpful. The only reason they do not have 5 stars is due to expense. I think that they charge a bit too much.

We have been using Parrish for about 3 years. They are always very professional and courteous. Our last service went without a hitch and the Technician was right on time.

Have used Nathan of Parrish Services for recent home electrical work, and he is first rate. Am a Parrish customer for many years, having had them replace my original HVAC system, and a second hot water tank in my 21 yr. old condo. Additionally, I have purchased extended service policies for plumbing, electrical, fireplace and HVAC, and so have seasonal inspections of HVAC and gas fireplace units, covered. Dispatchers and other phone/​web staff always courteous, and call me prior to every service call.

Parrish has excellent customer service and since I have a maintenance plan with them, whenever I require service they are very responsive. The only problem I’ve had is that when I wanted to cancel then maintenance service on one of my HVAC units, they couldn’t or wouldn’t stop the cancellation. I found this to be very frustrating.

Parrish is so much more about a sales pitch than productive customer service. They nearly always were teling me what appliance or part of my systems could go bad soon or already were in need of replacement/​repair. I had them replace my entire HVAC system. The price seemed fair BUT… a large but… I had TWO gas leaks after installation of the new system. BOTH were where they’d connected the new to the existing pipes. So not only could I have had major medical/​property problems, they didn’t cover the cost of repair because «it wasn’t all their installation». I couldn’t wait for my overpriced contract to expire. I’ve now got an honest and effective service company. Good riddance, Parrish.

My outdoor AC/​Heat Pump exchange unit broke down. After a few other companies’ visit to sell me a completely new unit without ascertaining whether or not I needed one, I happened to meet a Parrish Services rep in line at Walmart. 3 days later after another company let me down (it IS a busy season), I call Parrish. The guy says he can swing by, last call, between 6 – 7 PM that same day!
Sure enough, just before 7PM the service rep pulls up and goes right to the outdoor unit. He does a few tests, finds a bad capacitor, goes to his truck where he carries a spare, plugs it in, and just like that the unit starts up like the day before it broke. No kidding! Within 15 minutes of pulling in, my unit is fixed! Running as good as I remember — in 15 minutes! He did a thorough check on the rest of the unit and gave it a thorough cleaning to increase efficiency, and all done before the light of sunset. He was polite, knowledgeable, and completely professional. I was impressed by his humility. He answered every question I had without sounding condescending (I had, after all, not kept the unit very clean, and I know very little about how the unit works).
I’ve read other reviews of this company that were mixed good and bad. I have to say, this was the BEST and simplest service repair call and visit I have ever had! My advice: Check and clean your unit every 6 months — -and call Parrish Services for any unit problems. I know I will!

We found Parrish Services in the Prince William county Directory of Best Service Providers (great tool) and they were right on the money! A broken water pipe in the basement led to the emergency Saturday morning call. The woman who answered the phone was great… just like an old freind trying to help. Luis the plummer was truely a master! I have never seen someone sodder a pipe so well and so clean. He was a pleasure to meet and talk with and extremely capable. I would recommed Parrish Services to everyone. Great expereince… they know what service means!

Our A/​C went out, just blowing air, definitely not cold. I have a friend who works with an HVAC company, but they were booked through the week. They suggested we call Parrish since they would probably have the manpower to get someone out quickly.
I called Parrish Sunday night and they got someone out Monday before noon. The man that came out (Dan ?), was very pleasant and helpful. He called us first and made sure it wasn’t something that we could fix, to save us the charge of him coming out. When he arrived, he diagnosed the problem within a few minutes. He had the part on the truck to fix the problem, so we had A/​C back in less than 30 minutes. We paid just over $ 300 for the part and the trip out. My friend from the other company said their charge would have been about the same, so I feel their price was competitive.
We really appreciate having A/​C before it reaches 90 degrees tomorrow. Everyone I spoke to was pleasant, they were able to come out on short notice, and they fixed our A/​C on the spot. We’re happy customers and will definitely use them again if we have other issues.

I called about a strange odor coming from my unit and they came out the next day. The repair guy who came was very friendly and discovered a mold infestation, which he proceeded to clean up and recommended a UV unit that I went with. Hopefully the UV will keep future mold and mildew to a minimum. Installation was very fast.

BUYER BEWARE!
My HVAC system was making weird noises and a block of ice had formed around one of the lines for the outside unit. My heating bill was over $ 400 which was about $ 200 above what it should have been for the time of year. We called Parrish Services and they sent out a service tech the next day. The tech said he was the «Senior» tech and after looking over my system he advised the repair cost would be about $ 4200 to fix the issue. He advised that I get a brand new system for $ 6000 as he couldn’t guarantee that the repair would fix the issue… my HVAC units (outside unit and inside unit) were less than 5 yrs old (still under warranty) and he was aware of this.
I consulted the company who had installed the system and they sent their service tech out the next morning. That company’s tech looked over the system and said, «All you needed was refrigerant.» The Parrish «Senior» tech was trying to fear monger me into paying $ 6000 for an issue that cost me less than $ 200 to repair.
The HVAC system is now working perfectly and all it needed was REFRIGERANT. I waited over a month to write this and can verify that after the refrigerant was added my bill dropped by half and it was still during below freezing temperatures.
My advice… get a second opinion. My HVAC system was less than 5 yrs old and I was told to replace it all. I can’t speak to every situation, but in mine, Parrish was only concerned with selling me a new HVAC system and not actually helping lower my heating costs.
I will never contact Parrish Services for HVAC assistance again. BUYER BEWARE!

I needed a new central air-​conditioning unit and a friend at work recommended that I give Parrish a call. I can tell you that every interaction with this company has been nothing but first class. Starting with the customer service reps that I dealt with were great with working with my schedule. They then sent someone out to actually verify if I needed a new unit and to get the measurements for the install and lastly the install crew that came out was outstanding!
The installers called before arriving and once they arrived they were very careful with my personal belongings and wore shoe covers the entire time. The entire install for a new outside unit and inside coil took about 5 hours. They worked very neat and took their time and did not rush the job. At the end the lead installer (Tim) walked me through all the work performed and educated me on how the new unit would operate. Everything looks neat and professional and I would not hesitate to use Parrish Services in the future.

Fixed my pinhole leak in the copper pipes of my home. Professional and courteous. Waaay overpriced. Charged $ 1,180 for three patched pipes. Done.
What really got me disturbed was two days after I paid the bill with my credit card, ANOTHER charge for $ 132 came through my account to Parrish Services. Totally unauthorized. I called and left messages with their billing department as well as with their president. No answer.
My bank took over and their fraud claims department is looking into the matter. They have asked if this is genuine fraud/​theft, would I prosecute? Would I do business with a company that uses your credit card for unauthorized charges?

We have a pressurized toilet tank and my husband discovered a leak in the tank. Because of this leak, we discovered that the faucet to the toilet tank was broken and he didn’t have the proper tools to fix it. He called Parrish to come and fix the faucet and remove the pressurized toilet tank so it could be replaced when the tank is shipped as there had been a recall on the tank.
The guys came out within the hours that they quoted. I told them what needed to be done and they took a look at the issues. They gave me 3 sets of prices. One to fix the faucet ($ 267), one to remove the tank ($ 315) and another to come back and install the tank ($ 315). At first I thought the $ 315 is a combination of fixing the faucet and removing the tank, but I was told that it was in addition to fixing the faucet. So if they were to remove and install the pressurized tank for us, it would have been $ 630. The toilet itself cost less than that! My husband ended up doing the work himself.
The guys did a good job fixing the faucet, but $ 630 is pretty much a price-​gouging. We are thinking about canceling the service contract as it seems like Parrish is not interested in keeping a good relationship with the customers.
