John F.

Business Owner

John «J.J.» has more than 22 years in the private security industry. He has served in every possible professional security position from unarmed and armed security officer, compliance agent, instructor, supervisor, and executive management.

J.J. has led New Horizon Security to be the largest privately-​owned firm providing unarmed and armed security officers to Virginia state and local government agencies.

He is constantly innovating new technology and process improvements to better security practices, including New Horizon’s industry-​leading online records compliance system, OfficerTrax™ real-​time reporting and GPS tracking software application, and a security training curriculum including our Disney®-based customer service training.

J.J. is a certified DCJS instructor, published author and recipient of numerous business and community awards. He holds a B.S., Public Administration with Minors in Business, Political Science, and Criminal Justice from JMU.
