History

Established in 2001.

Mid Atlantic Construction was started by Rob Phelan in 2001 when he noticed a lack of contractors who put the clients welfare over profit. Starting as an insurance restoration company that served as an intermediary between insurance companies and he homeowner. Similar to a lawyer in court Rob would debate the compensation of a claim for his clients. Now MAC is a team of trained specialists who are trained in damage assessment and remodeling. Meet the Business Owner

Robert P.

Business Owner

Rob is a former marine who after being discharged began work in the field of home improvement. After years of using his talent as a salesman he began work in the field of insurance restoration where he fought with insurance carriers over compensation on home owners claims resulting from storm damage. After working in the field for a few years he started his own company where he beat out his competition by using better materials and labor at the cost of profit. Over 13 years later he is still the primary owner and manager at Mid Atlantic upholding the values that made him successful.

He is celebrating 7 years of marriage with his wife Sara and has 3 children (2 girls and 1 boy). Although he is not as active in the industry as he once was he still has a client focused approach that he teaches all of his employees.
