The Early Learning Center is the best play-​based developmentally appropriate preschool program for children ages 18 months thru 5 years in Manassas. For over 52 years, we have been serving the Manassas, Bristow, and Centreville areas with quality early childhood programs. New for 2015 – 2016 is an extended day to 2:00 pm.

History

Established in 1964.

Manassas Presbyterian Church opened the first Kindergarten program in Manassas, VA on January 6, 1964. As Prince William County Schools opened Kindergarten, our program transitioned to Manassas Presbyterian Preschool. When the Preschool joined with the church’s Mother’s Morning Out, the Early Learning Center was born.

The preschool evolved around the events of Martin Luther King, Jr. and was the first school in the area to be open to all eligilble children in the area, regardless of race, nationality, color, creed, ability, or religion. This value still holds true today.
