The experienced family law, immigration and criminal defense attorneys at Livesay & Myers, P.C. represent clients in Manassas, Prince William County and all across Northern Virginia.

Livesay & Myers, P.C. opened its first office in Woodbridge, Virginia in March 2003. The firm has grown steadily since, and now encompasses a team of lawyers and paralegals across offices in Fairfax, Leesburg, Fredericksburg and Manassas.

The current size and resources of the firm allow us to meet all our clients’ legal needs. Our goal is to establish personal relationships with our clients, and to be there for them each time they need an attorney.

As the firm has grown, we have always held to one core principle: hard work wins cases. Our lawyers believe in doing the hard work before trial necessary to give our clients the best chance to win in court.

Attorney James Livesay is the lead family law attorney at Livesay & Myers, P.C.

After graduating from the prestigious University of Virginia School of Law in 1998, Mr. Livesay served in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps from 1998 – 2001, where he received the Award for Trial Advocacy from The Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Committee on Military Affairs and Justice, in 1998. He went on to receive Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals in 2000 and 2001 (Gold Star in Lieu of Second Award).

Along with partner Kevin Myers, Mr. Livesay formed Livesay & Myers, P.C. in 2003, and has headed the firm’s family law practice since that time.
