Donna Isler does not return calls. Period. We took out a loan for our daughter’s 72 hours of tutoring that Huntington Learning Center suggested. It sounded like a great option since the unused hours would be refunded to us. WRONG! Understand, when you receive the loan, the money does NOT go to you to pay for the tutoring. The money goes directly to Huntington. So, when we cancelled our daughter’s sessions, Huntington continued to receive money from the lender. The lender kept sending us bills. We were promised by Huntington that all was fine and that we would be refunded. The lender continued to bill us, turned us over to collections, and we finally agreed on a settlement amount with them. The only reason we settled with the lender is that I was having medical problems and we opted for the quickest solution. Again, Huntington took THOUSANDS of dollars and we were NEVER REPAID. If this isn’t a fraudulent business, I don’t know one.

If you value your money and time, stay away from this place. The owner Donna Isler is one of the worst people to do business with. We took out a loan through the partnership of Huntington and a financial institution to help pay for the tutoring of our child. We used only a third of the loan. We decided to close our account and move on. Unfortunately, for us we have been unable to get the one and only person to close out our account. That would be Ms. Donna Isler.
We have been calling her and emailing her to arrange a meeting to close out the account, as are her requirements. She has not called us back to tell us when we can meet, while we are still on the hook for paying the monthly installment.
She’s been unavailable to meet since September. We called her and said let’s meet around the second or third week in October. She said she would call us and tell us which day she would be able to meet. Never heard from her. We followed up with an email to figure out why she never called us to tell us what day she’s available to meet to close out the account. Still haven’t heard from her.
Like I said, stay away. There are better options to do business with regarding educational and tutoring services. Just remember, her name is Donna Isler and she’s an independent owner of this Huntington location in Manassas, across from the hospital.
Just stay away from this poorly-​run business as customers will ultimately be hurt and screwed over.
One last note, she makes excuses on the spot. Don’t fall for her sob stories. She also has a problem paying teachers. Don’t work for Huntington if you’re a teacher looking for extra pay. You’ll be working for free.

If I could rate this place as zero stars, I would. I worked at this center for 3 months and it was one of the worst decisions of my life. The owner tries to make it seem like a wonderful place but in reality it’s far from that. I never got paid for the last two months of employment because the owner said «we had to deduct training costs from the check» and I never received any «training». There is huge turnover at this company and I now know why. I hope this helps anyone who is seeking employment and also looking for tutors for their children. DO NOT GO HERE!

This is the first review I’ve EVER written, which should tell you something. Along the same lines as the other two reviews, which I regret not reading — this place is such a scam. Overpriced & unprofessional! I don’t know where they get their tutors from. Your emails will go unanswered and good luck getting anything resolved. Our child was enrolled for a short period of time and it has been a hassle to cancel our service, although the contract leads you to believe it’s a easy process and they would helpful if that times ever comes. WRONG! Please don’t be like me and not do your research. I BEG YOU… DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! I am so upset with myself for believing the hype. You can do much better.
