House of Bounce

Had my granddaughters 5^th frozen themed bday here on Sunday afternoon. Expensive but kids had a really good time. The party room was very nice and staff were helpful and attentive. We had place to ourselves which made it really good. Would have enjoyed maybe some kids music in the background but all in all it was worth it.

My son loves this place and it’s a lot of fun for us adults too. The bounce portions are excellent — as I expected when I first came in.
Unfortunately, we are super disappointed about the addition of the game room. We bring our son to places like this for exercise and to run off energy, but the minute he sees a screen or something electronic, of course he wants to play. I don’t think video games were necessary at a «bounce house.»
Also, the floor in the arcade room is extremely slippery. There is a small warning sign, but more times than I can count, my son has fallen and smacked his head on the concrete floor. If they’re going to keep this (unnecessary) room open, then they need to repaint the floor with a little bit of sand in the paint. Otherwise, someone is really going to get hurt.
Overall, we like it and will continue to come back. Prices aren’t too high and it’s a great way to expel energy. I just wish they’d ditch the video games.

This bounce house was smaller than I had anticipated, but for $ 5/​child (group rate) it was well worth it.
There are 3 large bounce areas — 1 round enclosed area for just bouncing; 1 with just stairs to climb and a slide; and 1 area with 2 identicle sides: an «obstacle course», stairs and a slide. At this last area, my children would race each other (1 on each side).
There is also an additional room with arcade games and a smaller, enclosed, bounce area. This is used for smaller children and those with special needs. Or that’s what it’s supposed to be for — you have to watch for the larger, more crazed children trying to climb their way in.
As an adult, my favorite part of the place was the lounge area in the middle. House of Bounce provides a number of couches to relax on and free Keurig coffee.
I also appreciated the professionalism and great attitude we experienced with the employees. They were great with our large group of rambuncious children!

Came here twice on a field trip for work with about 50 kids each time. Most recently I came here on 1÷30÷14 and I don’t think it was as fun as the first time (summer ’13) but still very fun and enjoyable. The staff is very very nice and helpful. They go around and talk to you and make sure you’re doing okay. This time around, I think they talked to me a lot was because I actually took over on the obstacle course race for quite some time and controlled that area. Well… someone needed to! We didn’t close the place just for our kids so other families were able to be in there with us. Of course, there were alot of younger kids about 5 and under, running everywhere, jumping in front of the line and sitting on the bottom of the slide while the other kids were waiting for them to move. And of course, their parents were no where to be found. Well actually we found them but they were hanging out in the lounge area not really paying attention. Last time I was there (in the summer) an employee was standing there regulating. And no I don’t trust our kids to go «2 at a time» so that’s really why I stood there, for safety reasons. So open bounce times might be a bit hard for parents with little kids especially if there are large groups coming in.
This place is pretty big, theres an obstacle course where people can race, a huge jumping area, a very steep slide, and they just opened a game room! Everything is open and spread out. Theres a lounge area in the middle for adults with coffee (very important) and couches for you to relax on. There is also a party room that can probably fit about 20 or more kids where they offer pizza parties.
Overall, this place is very fun for both adults and kids. I, obviously, beat all the kids on the obstacle course but I’ll let them think otherwise. The enclosed jumping area was definitely a workout! Too bad you can’t do flips, which would make it even more fun but I’d probably flip into a kid anyways. You’ll definitely be sweatin’ after 20 minutes of straight jumping. This place is entertaining, and just like pump it up or rebounderz, your kids will enjoy it.

I held my son’s 7^th birthday party here this past Monday (8÷12÷13) and I was more than impressed! The staff was friendly, organized, had a great sense of humor (which I always appreciate!), and they ran it like a well-​oiled machine. They were very careful to put the spotlight on my 7 year old but also were wonderful with my other 2 children that attended.
I visited House of Bounce last year when my friend had her party there for her son. I was impressed with the «adult area» and the cleanliness of the inflatables. I immediately began considering holding a future party there.
During the party, the staff holds 2 activities (based on age, these are the 2 they held): a race thru the obstacle course inflatable and a jousting activity, both of which the kids had a blast. Parents can join in (I did at my friend’s party but not my son’s as there were several parents I didn’t know and I wanted to chat with them.) We had 23 kids + several adults and House of Bounce provided plenty of pizza, drinks, and salad (you can add or take away food options from a list they provide.)
The girls who passed out the pizza, cupcakes, juice, and ice cream were wonderful! They asked the kids which kind of pizza they wanted, which flavor ice cream they wanted, and which flavor cupcake they wanted. They also asked if anyone wanted more pizza (they allot 2 pcs per child) and they served any adults who wanted pizza and/​or a cupcake.
The only things I brought to the party were my children, goodie bags, and the cake/​cupcakes. I left with the extra pizza, extra cupcakes, extra salad (which my kids and I ate in the car even before we left the parking lot), extra goodie bags, and a huge trash bag full of gifts… all of which were packed into my van by the girls! I also left with my 3 happy children!
I can’t say enough positive things about this experience! It was stress-​free and I didn’t have to clean up after it was all over (a wonderful gift in itself for a mother!) I honestly do not have a negative thing to say. The phone calls I made to House of Bounce were even great! I called a few times before the party and each time, Bob was very helpful, thorough, and patient with me.
Will I go back? I have booked a party for my almost 5 year old for next month… and I have piece of mind :)
After thought (after reading some other reviews): All doors were locked even to the point that if you left (I ran to take pictures of the cake/​cupcakes before they were eaten), the door locks behind you and can only re-​enter with a key that an employee held. I felt confident with the safety of the kids in the facility (with no doors «manned» by staff.) I understood that the staff was not there to babysit. I invited the parents as well, and House of Bounce offered options that I chose so they would have fun, feel relaxed and included.

Three positives and four negatives that caught my attention. Positives first: Lots of space for kids and comfy lounge area in the middle of it all for parents. I also like that the staff helped tracking who the gifts were from, organizing gifts in advance, and taking care of trash. Now the negatives. The staff were not very kid friendly. They had noticeably fake personalities which is somewhat awkward at a party when you’re looking for fun upbeat attitudes. The staff didn’t seem to enjoy themselves with the kids and were really there to just assist kids and adults with small tasks when needed but not really there to keep anyone from getting hurt. This part is made obvious when every parent is made to sign a waiver to release the business of any responsibility if the kids get hurt. The other issue was the slippery carpet which is surprisingly slick even in socks, which you are required to wear or buy at the front desk. Also, one big complaint I had was that they only offer two added activities beyond the available slides and bounce house: Jousting in the bounce house (which we turned down for obvious reasons) and racing through the slide obstacles (which was okay). They could have easily come up with other activities to provide some variety however this was a let down for me personally considering the money we spent. Finally, the pizza meal service that we purchased was mediocre at best. The soda was flat but the pizza was actually tasty as its ordered from across the street. The staff served the food but did not even offer folks a choice between cheese or pepperoni. They just served it. Part of the reason for this I suspect is due to the way the pizza is made which covers the pepperoni and makes it hard to distinguish. Even so, the order we placed should have made it clear that we had two options for folks. Lastly, one piece of advice I would make is if you plan to order order the salad as well, be specific about the exact type of dressing. My wife had been there before and eaten a salad with the clear Italian dressing. When we got ours it came with a creamy Italian which the manager admitted was unusual.
In short, I had fun but the service was disappointing in many ways. I would consider some alternatives for less expensive and more satisfying fun.

Great staff that know what theyre doing and they seem to have fun with the kids. Ive been to two different bday parties here. Good times.

Went there last weekend for a kids birthday. The staff was very friendly. The space is big and open. I loved the fact that there is a space for adults to sit, but parents still need to watch their children (especially those under 6) despite the staff members being there. The one thing that could be better is the size of the room for serving pizza. Not everyone fit comfortably. I would definitely return for a party.

I have dropped my 6 yrs son to a birthday party, and after the party on my way home. He told me another kid at the party punched him 3 times. I asked if he let an adult know, he told me a staff and she gave him a ice pack. So I called «house of bounce» immediately and asked what is the procedure they follow in this situation or if the host /​parent is made aware of it. The staff can’t answer me, she just said that they usually pay more attentions to the trouble kids. And staff stated that they don’t have this type of issue much. I asked to speak to the manager, he basically stated there is no procedure to follow beside keep a closer eyes to the trouble kids.
I understand kids do play rough in the moon bounces and I don’t expects the staffs to watch my kids, but if a kid report a bullying situation (another kids punch him) to a staff. I think it is the staff responsibility notify the host or the parent. If the staff gave the kid a ice pack, they obvious recognized that the child is hurt.
this place is smaller and the kids are contain to a smaller spots, I figured it will be safer to leave my kids there with some supervision of the staffs. Unfortunately, this staffs are not trained to supervise multiple kids. I won’t recommend any parents to drop their young kids at his place for a party.

Extraordinary experience! We just came back from our daughter’s fifth birthday party: 22 kids, 22+ grown ups. Everyone had a blast! Extremely clean. Free Keurig coffee (with a variety of flavors) and soda for grown ups in nice sitting area where you can see all the bounce houses. Kids and grown ups loved the slides. Attendant organized games and races for those kids who were interested. Pizza and cake were actually tasty. Every detail was attended to. We left with a poster including a photo of the birthday girl surrounded by her friends and signed by her friends. Lots of other really nice details we wouldn’t have thought of. Price was exactly what was quoted, no surprises or upsell pressure. Best part: For once, I actually was able to relax and enjoy a party that I hosted!

Something for the stay at HOME MOM & Kids with lots of Energy! Take note Bring SOCKS… Everyone Jumpimg must wear SOCKS!

I feel the past two reviews of this place is a little unfair. I went to a birthday party for one of my son’s daycare classmates (4 year olds) today and encountered no issues. I would think it is your responsibility to look after your children not the staff. Whenever I go somewhere like Chuck E Cheese or Kids N Motion, I know I have to watch my child because these kind of places can get pretty chaotic with all the kids on hyperdrive.
House of Bounce is much smaller than the popular spots like Chuck E Cheese, but it is clean and they have a parent seating area with very comfortable couches and free coffee in a location where you can watch the kids playing while having conversation with other Mom and Dads.
There is only 3 moonbounce machines, but the kids didn’t seem to care — they were all running around as if they were in Disneyworld. Nope, didn’t see any unhappy kids. They have a separate eating area with picnic tables where pizza and birthday cake is served — along with a birthday throne for the guest of honor.
Big minus — the place is impossible to find. Crosspointe Lane was not on the mapping app of our iPhone or on our Garmin navigator. Neither is there a street sign! I spent 15 minutes driving in circles (even with assistance on the phone) trying to find the place.
From downtown Manassas on 28 (Center Street) drive west PAST the All Saints Catholic Church to the next intersection. The business is located on the left in the back (you cannot see it from Route 28) of an industrial park on the left called Crosspointe Park behind GEORATOR Corporation.

House of Bounce is very nice inside, and looks like a lot of fun. However, during open play time they allow large groups in, too. Today there were about 30 kids from a martial arts day camp (mostly boys) who were out of control. The adults accompanying them were not supervising the kids who were literally doing flips and swan-​dives off the top of the giant obstacle course. At one point I could not find my 7-​year-​old daughter and finally realized that a group of boys had trapped her in the obstacle course and would not let her out. Needless to say, she was terrified. I complained to the owner, who came in to the play area for about 15 minutes and looked around, but really did nothing about the wild behavior, nor did he ask the chaperones to pay attention. A short time later, my daughter was accidentally poked in the eye and wanted to leave. She actually said, «I don’t feel safe here.» I accept that kids get hurt while playing, however, on the way out the apathetic attitude of the owner really enraged me. He did nothing about the wildness going on inside and only said, «kids get hurt bouncing.» Getting hurt is not my complaint. The lack of supervision is. May I suggest that if you’re going to open the facility to a large group, that you do not sell admittance to others during that time?
In the end, we will not be going back. Not because the place isn’t fun, but because of the poor attitude of those who run the place. We’re very disappointed.
