Hop on Pops Moonbounce

Great service! On time and easy to work with! Made a birthday party a day to remember!

I contacted Hop on Pop’s to rent a bouncy castle for a party I was throwing. They were great to work with from start to finish. When it seemed like the bouncy castle set up was going to interfere with the rest of the party set up (catering, tents etc), I received a personal call from the office and they arranged to have their delivery personnel come at a specific time and move their truck out of the way of any other people. However, they arrived early and were set up in 15 minutes! The kids loved the castle — it was clean and well maintained. Their delivery personnel went over all the safety features and rules with me and they showed up right on time to collect the equipment (much to the sadness of the kids!) I would definitely rent from them again.

The experience was amazing. I called the office at 8am on a Saturday. The weather was beautiful (for December) and decided I would surprise the kids.
The staff there made the entire experience fun, worry free and easy on my wallet.
Thank you again for the professional service and assisting in making me «dad of the year». Even if it was just for a day!

I picked Hop on Pop’s because of the great reviews online. When I initially made the call, Jerry was super nice and helpful on the phone. He helped me pick the perfect moonbounce for my event (son’s 3^rd birthday party). A week or so later I looked online for other companies and realized that there were others that were cheaper than Hop on Pop’s, but decided to stick with Hop on Pop’s because of their great service and online reviews. My event is scheduled for June 6, 2015, and Jerry told me that the payment authorization form was due the week before. I received an automating email on June 1 saying that my reservation would be cancelled if I didn’t send the form by the next day. I called Hop on Pop’s to clarify that I had forgotten about the form and would send it in the following day. I was completely honest. I spoke to Jerry and again he was super nice and said that those emails were automated and that the reservation is never cancelled without giving me prior notice. the next morning at 10 am, I get a call from Ashley who was probably the rudest customer service agent I have ever spoken to. She said that if she didn’t receive my form by 5 pm that day my reservation was going to be cancelled. She told me she knew I called the day before and she said I claimed that I had never received the authorization form (which is a lie, I never said that I didn’t receive it, I just said that I had forgotten about it). She said they sent it to me again and expected my payment that day otherwise they would cancel my reservation. Hop on Pop is about $ 100 dollars more expensive than its competitors, but I chose this company because of its reputation of excellent service. If I knew I would have to put up with rude customer service representatives, I would have gone with the cheaper option. After I spoke to Ashley, I called the cheaper company but they were already booked. So unfortunately I am stuck with Hop on Pop’s. If you chose to go with this company and Ashley answers the phone when you call, hang up and try again. If your lucky, Jerry will answer the phone the next time.

Hop on Pop’s Moon Bounce company is such a pleasure to work with… La’Wanda is exceptionally patient and helpful, and the GM Amy Carrasquillo is great! They are one of the only inflatable companies that have the proper insurance qualifications to work in the National Parks in the DC/​NoVA area, so it was great to have their help in getting all of the proper paperwork for us to have a great corporate picnic at Fort Hunt Park. They are quick to get back to you, a pleasure to work with, and their commitment to safety and fun makes them a great company to work with. Definitely get in touch with them for any parties or family-​friendly functions!

Just completed a moon bounce rental and was very happy with all aspects of the rental: communications (responsiveness of) with office staff, cleanliness /​condition of equipment, timely delivery and pick up, care taken at set up and take down by field personnel, price of service compared to other providers that I researched. Will absolutely use them again — probably even w/​o checking other pricing first.

Hop on Pop’s Moon Bounce saved our day!!! We had scheduled another company to come as a vendor to our open house. We called Hop on Pop in a panic 20 minutes into our event after the other vendor did not show up! They were able to come out to our event and set up the water slide we had promised all of our visitors within a hour and saved the day! We will use this company for ALL of our events!

I rented the castle combo, with slide and obstacle course. Also I rented a popcorn machine for my daughters birthday. I left a message on Sunday and my call returned promptly on Monday morning.
Reservation staff was friendly during the call, installation staff was also prompt, on time and courteous. I would recommend to anyone looking for party bounce house and other party equipment.

Tried calling multiple times and the automated service kept hanging up on me!

We had a great experience with Hop on Pop’s. They called in the morning to see if we wanted to cancel due to forecast, but we were optimistic. Very glad we did. Our four hour rental ended up being for the day as they dropped off early and picked up late — a great time for the kids. The huge moon bounce/​slide was clean, in great condition (no patches or visible signs of wear), and the tables we rented were just as expected. We didn’t have to do a thing except plug it in, as the HOP’s staff set it all up. They were just as efficient at pick up time. We’ll definitely rent from them again. Great company and very nice staff.

My HOA had an event in which we rented a Moon Bounce from Hop on Pop’s. We were so pleased with them that we have reserved other items available through them for another event at the end of the month. They are friendly and committed to providing the best product and service available. From the reservation clerk to the delivery and pickup staff, they were all amazing.
They didn’t just try to rent us a moon bounce they were sesitivity to our budget and our requirements to ensure we picked out the appropriate item to make our event successful. I would recommend them highly to everyone.

We have used them now four times and just last week for our son’s birthday. BEST moonbounces, BEST prices, BEST associates that deliver, take down and explain everything. Wouldn’t go anywhere else and we live in DC so have many options! We especially like that they go ahead and call /​email several times to reassure your planned rental and even talk about possible rain issues! Will call again!

Great experience, they showed up on time and set everything up real quick. Service on the phone was really great as well.
My only issue was that they didn’t pick up that evening when they said they would, they picked up the next evening. Not really a problem, I mean we got to have a moonbounce for an extra day. But we were worried that we might get charged extra so I had to call them and ask them what was going on. They said the guy who was coming to pick it up couldn’t get down the driveway, which is fine. Just maybe give me a call next time, keep me in the loop.
With our big yard, we are definitely renting from them again.

I have been using Hop on Pops for over 5 years now as a One-​Stop-​Shop for our community’s annual Labor Day Carnival. In addition to the wide variety of inflatables, we make use of the tables, chairs, pop corn & sno cone machines. Their staff are always on time & professional. Seriously, if you want your event done right — call these folks!

We turned to Hop on Pops to rent Corn Hole (bag toss) Boards for a company retreat. The boards arrived the day before I arrived and were picked up at a convenient time for both our company and our host hotel/​resort.
Brenden picked the boards up for us and was very patient with me as I tracked them down in the resort’s shipping dock.
All of the staff members I worked with from reservations to payment and then delivery/​picker up were super friendly and helpful. They worked within my company’s policies to make sure our event was great.
I would strongly recommend using them for your party rental needs.

We have been using Hop on Pops for over 3 years for moonbounce and party supply rentals, such as cotton candy and popcorn machines, as well as extra tables and chairs. The prices are reasonable and the service is prompt!
We have rented the basic moonbounce (15’x15’) and obstacle course moonbounces, all of them come clean and ready to use (once they’re inflated of course). I’ve heard from friends who have rented from other companies that there was trash, etc. in their moonbounce which they had to clean. This is NOT the case with Hop on Pops, their items come clean and ready to go.
Our items have always comes on time, if not extremely early. Our last rental was in May 2012 and the moonbounce came one day early (no extra charge) due to our party’s schedule early the next morning. My kids were ecstatic — and so were the adults who got some time to play before the kid’s birthday party.
I find Hop on Pops cost effective and reliable– which is very important since you never want a late moonbounce for a 2 – 3 hour kid’s party– then it’s just pure anarchy!

Everything about my experience with Hop on Pops Moounbounce was fabulous, from the woman on the phone to took my booking, to the delivery guys to the moonbounce itself. In fact, the delivery guys made our day. They were really accommodating («over her, no over here, no let’s turn it this way» and they didn’t bat an eyelash) and also very funny. What a talent to make a recitation of rules and regulations hysterical. I wish I could remember their names so I could thank them specifically.
I would absolutely use this company again and I recommend them very highly.
