GreenStar says is your pest problem isn’t gone they will come back until they are and you are completely satisfied — 100% true. I wanted to write a review because I was so happy with our technician, Adam, and the overall attention the company gave us. I notice that there are a few negative reviews on here. I was ready to leave one myself a few weeks ago. What I didn’t realize is that I needed to tell GreenStar we were having issues. They come back at no charge until the problem is fixed. They also explained to my husband and I how the pest problems start, exactly what to expect while fixing them and how to keep them from coming back.
We live in an old townhome in the city. Mice are a given. I was SO frustrated by them. GreenStar had been coming out every other month to service our house. But when I explained to them that we actually had mice — they were on it. They came out on a Saturday around our schedule and within 3 days we have been mouse free!!! I will definitely continue to use their service!

Horrible and scammy! The 5 star reviews have to be the owners or employees:/ Never preformed the services they pitched initially and never came in my home to spray my basement even after I asked them to. Basically I have paid 89.00 a quarter to brush off the cob-​webs on my front porch. Finally my 4 paid services are done and I am so glad to see them go.

worst service ever… they are forged my signature on their contract and charged me cancellation fee be aware of this company. poor customer service and management. rip offff

They are awesome! I hired them when we moved in our new house. We had a crazy bee problem and they came out on a Saturday to take care of it. Our technician knows us by name and goes out of his way to check problem spots we have had previously (we have had a lot of Carpenter Bee problems). I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I don’t know where Green Star gets their employees, but they are wonderful. The technician who comes to my house, Dwayne, is so friendly and efficient. He always asks about my kids. And the best part, he really knows his stuff and goes the extra mile. I feel like we’re his only client. I had the same experience with our previous Green Star tech, Mike.

Green Star always emails a few days before they come, which is very helpful if you want them to come inside. But even better is that they’ll come outside of your normal treatment schedule if you run into a problem or need them to spray inside. When I’ve been at home during their visit, they’ve always been courteous and explain exactly what they are doing, Very happy with their service!

I love GreenStar Pest Control. Branson is so professional and very friendly! He is so thorough ensuring that all our pest needs are taken care of and goes above and beyond what you would expect. Branson is always on time and very helpful. Greenstar comes out as many times as needed between services at no charge! The customer service on the phone is also always so kind and respectful! You won’t be disappointed!

The service I have with greenstar pest control is excellent!!! Their scheduling is very flexible and my technician Branson always arrives on time and is very helpful and patient with me and has a great attitude, I only want him!!! And my pests have been gone since being with them. I recommend them to any person who looks.

I’ve never had service done by this company and never will. I witnessed there driver weaving in and out of traffic and doing at least 40mph if not more in a flashing 25mph school zone. I admit I speed but never in a school zone. If you are that irresponsible than I don’t think I could trust you to do work for me.

I have used them for almost 2 years now. so far pretty happy with the service both price and pest control. This is the first company i have used but looking at what my neighbors lawn feels like when i have visited, i think Greenstar stuff works much better. I hardly have any other bug issue. They are pretty responsive in general. i called them 15 days before the scheduled service complaining about mosquitos and they are happily sending someone to treat it for free till my schedule service is done in Sept. $ 33/​mon pest control inside & outside with termite insurance. is pretty good if you compare it to do it yourself. Organic liquids are approx $ 30 which need to be sprayed 6 weeks or so plus the time and effort it takes. Plus it is a local business which is a huge plus point.

Great company! I have been using GreenStar for over a year and their service is consistent and high quality. Technicians are friendly and not in a rush to leave if you need them to address any concerns.
Without even knowing I am hope (I work from home), I see the techs walk around the house and use the brush to get rid of cobwebs/​wasp nests up on the house, up and around the stairs and decking. They even go to our playset to lay bait and brush away possible nests (I asked them once last year to do this and they’ve been doing it ever since).
A tech, Acorbin, came by today prompting the note. Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He gave us all new mouse traps for inside and bait traps outside because we just caught a mouse in the past week.

So I got the sales pitch from the door to door high school kid that walks around with a clipboard explaining their service. He repeatedly told me that there was no binding contract and that I should cancel it any time if I don’t like the results. I have 70 individual plants in my front yard and they are all suffering from the same thing– no bugs! Part of their sales pitch is how «green» their chemicals are, but while the chemicals won’t burn your plants, they will kill or keep away all the good insects necessary for irrigation and pollenating. So I called them up to request no more service and after some hemming and hawing I was told that since I accepted such a steep discount for the initial treatment that I would have to pay the difference ($ 150.00) So I sure hope I get a bill in the mail from BrownStar because if they charge me without my consent it’s on.
No matter what the reason is that I am cancelling, my 1 star is for the contradictory business practice– send a young guy out to make promises, and then have a young guy back at the help desk to break the bad news to you is too obvious in hindsight.

We loved our salesman Davis! Super friendly and personable. He had a technician to our house 2 days later. Our biggest concerns were the spiders in our basement and the ticks in our yard. After finding 2 on our dog enough was enough! Our technician Saul was friendly and professional, and treated our entire yard and house. We couldn’t be happier with the service :)

As someone who owns an investment property I’ve had the opportunity to meet and use a lot of really bad contractors, tradesmen, home services, etc. I’vd had the experience of over promising and under delivering from every service known to mankind. So this time i used a locally owned company (got to fuel the small business revenues) and i called GreenStar, i’ve uses other bug guys in the past, but never liked the fact that they would just show up to treat my home without me ever knowing and then send me a bill or charge my credit card?! GreenStar called my house and sent me an email a week before, that way I knew when they were coming and can have them come treat on the inside, which is no extra cost. They also offer to come back for free if anything pops up between my next visits. My other company didn’t cover me for termites, which is an issue in my neighborhood. This is all included with GreenStar, so this really gives me a piece of mind that im not being nickle and dimed to death. If you are in need of a GREAT locally owned Pest Control control SERVICE and not some random dude with chemicals in his truck and the smell of Chemicals on his clothes that you found off Craigslist, then call these guys!!!

I’m extremely pleased with GreenStar for many reasons. One of the big things for me is dealing with a pleasant service man. The who came over wasn’t only friendly and professional, but also really knowledgeable, which is always reassuring! GreenStar has been very accommodating from day one. I’ve talked with someone at the office over the phone plenty of times, and everything has always run smoothly, whether it’s dealing with a payment or them just answering my general questions. I was actually referred to GreenStar by a couple of my neighbors who have small children and pets and opted for GreenStar because of their botanical products. Thought I’d give them a try too and haven’t been disappointing yet. I’d recommend them too, since I’ve known some people who have gone with other pest control companies and have terrible experiences. This company is definitely one of the better ones.

We signed up with this company when they cold called on us by knocking on our front door. The door to door salesman promised us that every inch of our lawn would be treated for pests. Despite our many requests, our entire yard was NEVER treated. To make matters worse, the customer service and business ethic of Greenstar are both horrible. The pest control was mediocre at best but the way they do business is deplorable. You can probably do better with pest control from Home Depot. AVOID GREENSTAR!

I really don’t have anything negative to say about the individual that actually does the work. He is very professional, dependable, and overall a very nice person to deal with. I want to be clear that I was happy with his aspect of the service.
I have a huge issue with the way their office is handled. Without giving to much information, my mother was diagnosed with Breast cancer and Brain tumors. I was going to fly out to Arizona where she lives to take care of her. I have been a customer with GreenStar for about four years. I sent in my letter telling them to cancel my service and the office calls me telling me they received my letter and then telling me my last service would be in about six weeks. I told the guy I wouldn’t be here and explained my situation and he said he couldn’t make an exception due to the contract. I told him this way ridiculous, that he could make an exception. He told me, «If I did it for you, I’d have to do it for everyone.» I felt like I was dealing with a fourth grader. Long story short, the only «assistance» he would offer was to NOT have the service guy come out, however, he’d still charge me as if the service took place.
During this whole experience with my mother I had to deal with a bunch of different companies, all of them helped me and was very understanding except for GreenStar. When I left I was talking to my buddy about it and he found over 30 other reviews of green start talking about the exact same thing.
As a service provider, they were not bad at all, however when you go to cancel, they will get one last service out of you regardless.

I signed a contract with this hideous company and I’ve regretted it since day one. If you’ve got small kids or animals and expect green and organic services to be provided, go with another provider. Both of my services have been incorrectly completed and it costs more to cancel your contract than just to deal with them throughout the remainder of it.

Our service plan was to maintain our home every 3 months. My home became infested. One morning I woke up with 15 dead millipedes in my living room. I called GreenStar. They sent someone out on my normal schedule a week later.
When the gentleman got here, I wanted him to see the millipedes in my home. He said it wasn’t needed and that ‘this bug breeds every 3 years and we can’t stop, but we can spray them’… I’m sorry I don’t understand what that means. I want to know, can they keep them coming into my house in droves?
His response was that he could spray around but it’s impossible to identify where they are coming from. (That is why I offered for him to see the inside to see where they are coming in.) Also, I told him I found the nesting area and could show him. When I asked how to keep them from going up the walls and in, he got mad. I told him I was trying to understand and he was being defensive/​not listening. When I asked him what I asked, he left without spraying.
