We’re extremely happy customers! We recently hired Johnny and his team to do quite a bit of work in our yard. We had trees cut down, pruned and cut back. The entire process from start (getting estimate) to finish (work complete) was quick and seamless. Johnny is knowledgeable, professional, fairly priced, customer service focused, and easy to work with. We’ll definitely call them back when we need tree services again.

Highly recommend this company. We had to have 8 large ash trees removed from our back yard due to the emerald ash borer. Johnny came out the day after my call to give us an estimate. Very reasonable prices. Office staff, Melissa and Sara were very pleasant and responsive to deal with. Crew of 5 came out to do the work. Exactly there on time. Called that morning to confirm they were coming. Very professional, polite, hardworking crew. Absolutely no damage to any of the other trees or yard. Raked and cleaned up all the debris. Unbelievably nice job.

Johnny Curtis, Jose, and the rest of the team we dealt with were terrific. They removed a massive tree that had fallen on our house and were able to minimize further damage. The entire crew was very friendly and professional. This is the second time we’ve used them and they are great.

After getting estimates from a few other tree service companies, I thought I’d need a second mortgage to remove some damaged and dangerous (standing dead) trees that were near my house and sheds. Luckily, my neighbor recommended Freedom Tree Service (Johnny). I can’t say enough about the fast service, the reasonable price, and the professional crew. Very large trees were dropped with no damage to surrounding trees. We live in the woods, so this is saying a lot. This company is top-​notch. They’ve gained a customer for life — and I’m sure they have many others.

I used Freedom Tree Service last year and they are very reasonably priced and their customer service was great considering what kind of business it is. Meaning most of the tree companies in Northern Va are not good business men nor are they reliable like Freedom Tree service was. They did a great job and the owner Johnny was a pleasure to deal with.
He seemed like a good Christian man who was concerned for others. We’ve tried other companies like JL Tree and Richard’s tree service but they were a joke and clearly didn’t care about their workmanship or their customers. I’ll never use anyone else as long as I live in Fairfax County.
